I have terminal cancer and live in Newcastle upon Tyne. I travelled down to be all day at UHCL on a chemotherapy trial drug for palliative treatment to hopefully lengthen my life esp with 3 young kids and husband who I am so determined not to leave. I felt really tired and nauseated on arrival at 6:30pm and begged for an upgrade - which I successfully granted room 1010 from a room that cost £280. The view was great. It was quiet - I slept so well and then the breakfast was amazing- perfect for someone with nausea and exhaustion- so much choice. I am coming back next week 25th Feb so will book and hope for an upgrade as I get a limit for expenses and this is just at my limit to stay overnight and

Nothing to dislike

The location was excellent, 5-7 minutes walking distance from 2 very central underground stations. There are many high-quality restaurants and cafes in the area. Every time we returned to the room it was clean and tidy, and the staff was very friendly.

It's a bit petty, but maybe it's important for some people. Since we come from a country that's not England, we needed to use an adapter for the socket. The sockets next to the bed are located inside the nightstand, which is right next to the bed, so there was no space to plug in the phone charger with the adapter next to the bed. Overall, there are a few sockets in the room (we were two adults and a child). Additionally, there is hot water, but in one of the showers, it comes and goes. But these are really small things that didn't ruin our experience at all; the hotel was excellent in all the truly important aspects.

The bed was really comfortable and the pillows were great. The doorman Denis was amazing and had brilliant customer service, so polite and very knowledgeable about location.. Breakfast food was great.

The blonde haired receptionist was very rude at check in, totally unwelcoming and was very abrasive. The wine prices were slightly high. One of the waiters in the restaurant bar told us we could not bring our wine into the waiting area even though we brought it from the hotel ( we didn’t drink all if it first night). Another female from the restaurant acknowledged that we had previously brought the wine from the hotel and quickly calmed the situation down, but we still felt very embarrassed nevertheless

The hotel’s location was absolutely fantastic — just a 5–10 minute walk from King’s Cross station and super quick to check in. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and the decoration in the main area was beautiful and really cool! I didn’t end up using the gym, but when I had a look, it all looked great. I will return.

The room was mostly fine, but I did notice a lot of small yellow moth-like bugs inside, which was a bit off-putting. I didn’t raise it with staff at the time, so I can’t say how they would have handled it. It might be a seasonal or local issue, but it was unusual and worth mentioning for future guests.

Room was spacious and near the lift. Shampoo etc was great! Staff in bar were friendly and efficient.

Room wasn't ready - we were early. Was told it would be ready in approx 20 minutes and someone from reception would come to find us in the bar when it was available. They didn't. We went back to reception about 45 minutes later and were told not only was the room ready but it had been for approx 30 minutes. The delay getting access put pressure on us going to an appointment. Singer in the bar in the evening made conversation very difficult indeed.

Location was extra convenient because it was 5mins away from Kings Cross Station. There were a lot of food options nearby and transportation wasn't a challenge. Rooms were spacious enough for us but might be a bit cramped if more than 2 people stay.

Breakfast options were limited to the standard English options, would be good to have some variety such as Asian food. The drop off area if you took an uber is on the access road as there is no drop off area at the main road, so if you take a cab this will be extra charges.

Never heard of the name Pullman before. One of the best hotels we have stayed in. Expensive but worth it. Location was perfect, next to St Pancras and the British Library. Several restaurants and fast food outlets nearby (McDonald's, Nando's). Lots of choice at the buffet breakfast. Big room, cleaned everyday. Lovely hot water in the shower. Lot of activity outside at night but quite in the room. Large, comfortable double bed. Appreciated the absence of interconnecting door. One of the reasons for choosing this hotel. Our room was on the first floor. Surprised and amazed to see Ladies and Gents in the corridor on this floor. Friendly staff. Raining slightly one day and were given an umbrella to borrow by one charming member of staff. Hotel, highly recommended.

Nothing.

This place is absolutely 1st class. We come to London often and have our favourite hotel in the Docklands. A branded hotel who's flagship is on Park Lane I might add but this has surpassed that by a mile. The best hotel we've ever stayed in in London. Every member of staff was smiling and looked happy to be working even at midnight on a Saturday night. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was excellent with lovely views of St Pancras. Simply the best stay we've had in London. Amazing.

Nothing.

Really nice hotel. We had a nice size family room. The staff were really helpful. There was a great variety of things to choose from at breakfast, and the food was really good. The hotel is located right next to Kings Cross underground station as well as St Pancras International train station, and there are a lot of shops and restaurants near by. It is also located next to the British Library. There are city sightseeing bus stops 5 minutes away.

The sofa bed was a bit uncomfortable.

No.1 location. Next; super friendly staff, clean, quiet room, comfy bed and excellent breakfast. I stay here fairly often and this time it was even better, no noisy guests in adjoining room. Thank you considerate guests in the corridors. People are trying to sleep. Got the hang of the shower now so no cold surprises when it switches from hand to overhead drench! Also, environmentally friendly shower gels etc in larger containers, perfume not too bad. A big shout out to super reception staff who helped us with our luggage beforehand and room booking, very much appreciated. Excellent breakfast range of foods and decent bread. Top tip: Don't use the sliced bread by the toaster, cut a slice yourself from the decent loaves by the croissants. Also, tea and coffee are brought to you, for refills you may need to flag down a waiter/waitress. Plenty of staff on hand last time on a busy Sunday.

Nothing. Just worried all these positive comments may make it a bit too busy next time we book!
