Nice communal bar area. Clean. Comfy bed. Good location

Im a 42 year old man and to my shock I arrived at my room to find there was about 6 very young girls around 12 years old sharing my room with me. It shouldn't be allowed for adult men to share the same room with such young children. Mixed rooms should be for strictly adults only. Also the man on reception shouldn't be in hospitality. He's just not welcoming, doesn't smile and was very abrupt and quite rude when I asked him to repeat what floor room was on.

I actually wanted a room for myself alone, which wasn't anyone's fault because it was an urgent matter due to the disappointment from my previous hotel booking.

The location is amazing, just what I needed. The access to the room thru the hostel was convenient and no issues were encountered. The wifi worked flawlessly.

I did not appreciate that it was not mentioned anywhere that the safe cages under the bed which are used for storing items, need a padlock to be secured. I found out after actively messaging the staff about this prior to my trip, receiving the answer that a padlock is needed and it can be purchased at the reception. The access to the safe cages at night is not the easiest and it is a loud process to roll them out and open/close them. The shower doors leak water onto the ground and there isn't enough shelf space in bathrooms for leaving toiletries/accessories.

I booked a 4-bedroom this time, and it was better than the 8-person room; it was clean and more comfortable. The location is really convenient, there are lots of bus routes to arrive at the hostel even at night. You can borrow a hair dryer for free by leaving your ID. After checking out, you can continue to stay in the public lobby, which has many tables and chairs, and you can use sockets, wifi and water.

The elevator is out of service, and the toilets on the ground floor are not clean. You have to keep pressing the button for the shower water, otherwise the water will run out every 15 seconds or so.

I had a good experience staying. The breakfast was nice, the stay was comfortable, and I really appreciated the strong security measures—your key card only works for your assigned floor and room, and trying to access other areas resets it. That made me feel very safe throughout the stay.

The only issue I faced was with the Booking.com listing, which mentioned a twin bed for the 6-bed male dorm. In reality, I was given a bunk bed, and the property staff confirmed that they don’t have any twin beds at all. This made the listing quite misleading. I reached out to Booking.com three times regarding this issue but, unfortunately, never heard back from their support team.

The people who work there are polite and friendly, especially those at the reception and behind bar. I liked it because they use clean sheets and white for the beds. They keep everything clean, the hallways, the toilets, the bathrooms. The good thing is that in addition to the toilet and bathroom in the room, there are toilets and bathrooms in the hallways for those who want to use them outside the room. One of the interesting advantages is that you can drink alcohol there and you can even buy alcohol, That's why it was a very friendly and nice atmosphere that I had a good time. And the interesting thing was that most of the guests there were very nice people, and I didn't see anyone having any problems or arguing with anyone. Thank you Kian

The staff on the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Even though my room was paid for, I did need the card used for booking to prove my identity. It's a good thing I had it with me as I don't take all my bank cards with me when travelling. I was lucky to be given a bottom bunk and the mattress was comfortable. The room was hot but it was August so it was to be expected. There was a small fan on the floor, so it wouldn't have been much use to the ladies on the top bunks.

Unfortunately there was someone asleep in my bed when I arrived but luckily she woke up and agreed to move. I think guests should be reminded during check-in that they are not to steal another person's bed.

another guest was given the same bed number as mine so she had to go fix that with the reception, and then a 2nd guest was given the same number as that 1st guest... it was quite stressful for everyone involved because they charge 20gbp for using the wrong bed, but what can you do when you're given the wrong bed number by the staff? all the surcharges listed at the reception were too much (5gbp for forgetting an item behind?? be serious). I wasn't charged extra but it made me feel like I needed to watch my every step

The staff are very welcoming, the place is spotless, and the whole system is well organized. What impressed me most was their flexibility and the way they are always ready to support without hesitation. A special thanks to Michelle for kindly helping me carry my heavy luggage all the way to the top floor, and to Aaron and the rest of the team for their kindness and professionalism. They consistently go beyond expectations to make sure guests are satisfied. I have stayed in several hostels, but this one truly stands out as one of the best in every way.
