The location is great, only a few minute walk from the Victoria Coach Station. There are a lot of restaurants and supermarket nearby. Most importantly the hotel has air condition! The Staff was very nice and friendly. I had trouble using the safe and kept asking the front desk staff a few times for help.

The bathroom is extremely small. I couldnt even close the door without hiding in the shower. I am small (only 5ft) but my knee could touch the wall when I sit on the toilet. Carpet seems old and dirty.

Room was well organized with its own safe, a comfy bed with modern bathroom (rain shower). Quiet room and AC worked great and also ran quiet. Problem with television (no signal) was immediately addressed by staff. Hotel is ideally situated for walking excursions around the London. Close to a nearby stop for the Thames River Uber Boats by Clipper. Lots of great restaurants also nearby.

Our assigned room was on a lower level below the entrance room and desk, and as the case in North America felt like going down to a basement. It would have been good to know that such hotels in old Victorian buildings do have lower level rooms.

The room was very very small, but it was cute and comfortable. The hotel was more affordable than just about anywhere else in London. Staff at the front desk was happy to take my bags when we checked in much earlier than our room was ready. The hotel was located near the central train station in London, about a 10 minute walk from it, so quite convenient for getting around London. There was air conditioning in the room which was nice given that we were in London on some very warm days. There is a restaurant called Cambridge Street just around the corner from the hotel. They advertise is having the best English breakfast in London, and I don't disagree it was fantastic! If you stay at 29 london, I highly recommend visiting that restaurant.

My primary complaints about the room was that the bathroom was so small you couldn't actually sit on the toilet, kind of had to angle yourself. Other than that I had no complaints and I would consider staying here again.

Location and quietude.

Too many stairs for an older person. Top floor room.

The room was clean and cosy, and I really liked that there was a single bed room for solo traveller available! :) My room was on the lower ground floor, and I was surprised at how quiet it was! Distance from Victoria station was ideal, and the walk to Buckingham Palace and St. James Park was only about 40 minutes, which wasn't that bad at all! The staff were very friendly and always had a smile on their face and greeted warmly whenever I was leaving or coming back to the hotel.

The bathroom was quite small in the single room. However, this is not really a bad thing, just something to consider, as well as the fact that the hotel has a lot of narrow staircases so if you are not comfortable with those two facts, then I would recommend looking for another place. But if you are okay with those, then I would definitely recommend this hotel!!

Close to transport and some major attractions like the Buckingham Palace. Newly renovated, clean.

There’s no lift, one of our room was in the basement and is across the breakfast room so a bit noisy in the morning. Other room we occupied was in the top floor, a challenge to go up if you have mobility issues. But staff offered to bring the luggage if you need help. One toilet is awkwardly positioned that your knee is almost underneath the sink, but it’s more of a structural issue due to the building as an old structure. Not a complaint but might find it challenging for tall individuals.

property is tastefully decorated, in a handy location and staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating, bed was super comfy and the aircon was an absolute dream during the heatwave

the fact it doesn’t have a lift and we were top floor but that is because we are lazy and tbf the hotel does inform you that they don’t have a lift. the bathrooms are a little bit tight but nothing majorly wrong, the hotel more than made up for it and they can’t really do anything about these issues so not fair to mark them down. my only complaint was that our remote for our tv was a firestick remote so could only turn the tv on/off or volume up/down but we could still change the channel using the tv

The staff were outstanding. They were so welcoming, professional and helpful, no matter how random our request. We were able to get three separate ensuite rooms, right in the heart of Victoria for such a reasonable price. They even gave us three rooms beside each other. The rooms were single so small but had everything we needed. The bathrooms were fantastic. Again they were small but really well designed and spotless. I didn't have the breakfast so I can't comment on that but as a base for sightseeing, theatre-going or business in London The 29 was ideal.

The location was convenient for Victoria Coach Station. The continental breakfast was adequate. I have mobility issues due to painful knees when going up and down stairs and there is no lift. The gentleman at the desk very kindly allocated me a room on the mezzanine floor. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable and the shower in the bathroom was excellent. There is no restaurant for lunch or evening dining. There is an online facility provided in the bedroom to order hot food for delivery direct to the room. I waited over an hour and when it was delivered it was nearly cold (curry, rice and potato wedges). The delivery man did apologise for the delay. I wouldn't use the online facility for ordering food again!

As stated above, the online food delivery service.

The staff couldn't of been more helpful in all ways. We stayed on a Friday night as it is so close to Victoria station. I would say for the stand and welcoming we received through out our stay was remarkable. We are three large ladies going on the British Pullman train. Once dressed in the morning and asked if some could be take photos of us. The lady at the desk Bushra was brilliant in taking the pictures for us. All staff helped in anyway they could. We would highly recommend a stay here.

Breakfast was nice but I do think a cover over the cold meats and cheese would be good.
