Greeted with a very warm welcome , offered a hotel tour which was a nice touch , thank you. Apologies cant remember the lovely ladies name. The spa therapist was fantastic, did a great massage treatment , was attentive and kind. Thank you!! However, the spa reception staff did not really care about guests. We were waiting over 20 minutes with no communication. We asked a couple of times what the delay was, ignored. Then handed a medical form no explanation my mother was disappointed by this, again we had to do all the asking. For a spa with such high pricing, suggest customer service training...! Same for the bar staff, the bar was pretty much empty , and it took a while to get the staffs attention even for the menu. Had to go up to the bar to place my order. As the ladies at the bar were in deep chatting mode, ans continued through out the whole duration. The hotel is clean beautifully decorated. This is an honest review , hope its helpful.

The hotel is beautifully designed and located in a great central area. The room was comfortable.

Unfortunately, my first night was completely ruined by loud music from the bar upstairs inside the hotel. I had just arrived from a long flight and couldn’t sleep due to the noise, which continued until midnight. It took four calls to concierge before anyone answered, and I was told there was “nothing they could do.” There was no initial solution offered—no room change, no compensation until I demanded to speak to a manager. This is not acceptable for a 5-star hotel.

Very convenient location. Team overall very friendly, the doorman were the most attentive. I appreciate having the power adapters available.

Rooms are very small/ narrow and they charge way too much for breakfast $44 USD is absolutely ridiculous. Go walk one block and a great coffee and breakfast for half the price for two. The lobby is a bit dated and tired, especially the entry runner rugs. Never received our welcome drink.

Good location and comfortable bed and pillows

Service in the restaurant was disappointing - staff too busy chatting. My main course arrived and still no wine arrived. I asked twice for dessert menu and then once I had received it, no one bothered to take my order, so I paid my bill and left. The restaurant could have been great as I was sitting outside but staff chatting amongst themselves and not watching tables - disappointed

Location, interior design, staff’s reactivity.

Fifth star seems to have dropped from the sky. Staff joking and laughing with each other at the entrance, in-house Mediterranean restaurant is a shame, service quite slow. As the hairdryer’s plug didn’t fit the wall plug in the bathroom, I used it in the bedroom. I won’t tell you the amount of dust that it pulled out randomly… They have come at least 3-4 times to check if anything was consumed from the mini bar. Leaving aside that nothing was consumed, I suggest management to calm down with their policies as it doesn’t match the audience. If someone can pay a week at your hotel, he can surely also be trusted enough to pay his consumptions at the checkout. Spa pool is filled with tons of chlorine.

Absolutely seamless service, upon arrival the door was opened for us, our luggage whisked away and we were guided into a fabulous bar for a free arrival drink. The receptionist informed us that we were given an upgrade free of charge and the rooms were absolutely stunning. Bonus points for the heated toilet seat and caramel truffles. Due to pool maintenance we were given a voucher to use another 5 star hotel and also provided a free (absolutely stunning and tasty) breakfast with the widest range of options and juices I've honestly ever seen. The thing that stood out for me most though was the staff, each one was warm, pleasant, helpful and genuine. Thank you

Excellent breakfast, fresh, good healthy choices and service. Opted for breakfast included rate, a choice of buffet and cooked to order. Highly recommend. Recommend fresh mint tea. The rooms are stunning, area with good lighting, socket for hair and makeup and high end products in bathroom, dressing area and separate automatic toilet/bidet. Everything has been considered when designing the rooms, best in London for a hassle free stay.

The addition of service charge per night, this is optional £16+first night £17+ second night, this was pointed out when checking out, I prefer to tip individuals so check your bill. Still one of the best hotels in London.

The Londoner delivered on all fronts. The room was spotless. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout. The location was ideal, right in the heart of everything. The breakfast was top quality.

The only downside was the default service charge added to everything. The hotel isn’t cheap to begin with, so seeing extra charges automatically included that you have to ask to remove feels a bit off. Discretionary when added as a default doesnt feel discretionary. What stood out even more was a service charge added to the room itself at checkout (an additional £40). I’ve never come across this in any other hotel. It takes away from what is otherwise a great experience.
