A very enjoyable stay at a beautiful, and beautifully located, hotel. An excellent stay from start to finish. Great service; the white wine on arrival was a lovely touch and slipped down excellently. The location is fabulous, with so many spectacular sights on your doorstep. The highlight for me was some expert concierge work from the exemplary James, who sympathetically advised a jacket on our way out the door and prevented a goosebumped afternoon. The rooms aren't massive, but if you are coming to this location you should be out soaking up giddy London, and not sat in your room doomscrolling. Angus on reception was fab, and the Chilean barman also made us feel absolutely welcome and fortified with whisky. Old world British hotel charm and service at its best. Just book it.

beautiful lobby with amazing glass dome and a outstanding semi spiral staircase breakfast was very good , bed was very comfortable

the shower became blocked and flooded the bathroom, staff came on and unblocked it but failed to clean the excess water up.as a result during the night I slipped on the floor and twisted my Knee. They should have cleaned up the spillage or offered us a different room. They did offer a bottle of wine after they unblocked the shower. You do not expect this sort of problem in a 5 star hotel .

The staff is very nice and friendly. The location is amazing, very central and well connect to Bank station. Always love to get a glass of prosecco at the check-in. The lobby is amazing and looks very historic, although I don't know the story of the building. Had some drinks at the bar which was really great, but also quite expensive. I didn't see anyone have dinner during our stay. In general it was very calm during our stay.

There is no parking, but that's to be expected in the city. The rooms a little bit dated and the bathroom wasn't as clean as I was hoping for. The rooms could definitely do with a renovation. I always miss having a balcony in these city locations, but I couldn't even open the window which is something that does bother me. For fresh air you rely on the air condition, which I like to turn off as it makes noise during the night. Unfortunately, the air condition also made nice when turned off... The rooms a very noise, you can hear everything that's happening next door or in the hallway.

the room and building is stunning, the building is old bank and it has been refurbished whilst maintaining original features.. Very comfortable room.

Breakfast was sub standard, Some of the waiters struggled with English as it wasn't there first language. it was really dis organised and uncomfortable to watch, the main issue for me was personal hygiene of some of the waiters was extremally low with terrible oder, whenever they approached the table you was overwhelmed with there body Oder, it made me feel sick.

The service we received at Threadneedles was exceptional. We were met with a glass of Prosecco and shown to our upgraded room upon arrival. We were celebrating our Wedding Anniversary and we were made to feel very special. The room was beautiful and strewn with rose petals, with a complimentary bottle of Prosecco chilling in an ice bucket. Crisp sheets and luxurious pillows on the bed, Elemis products in the bathroom and, with everything you may need whilst away from home to hand, we had the perfect stay.

We could not fault anything and would most definitely visit again.

We loved the attentiveness of the staff. Nothing felt like too much trouble, there was a personal touch. The staff made our stay really special. They knew we were staying for our anniversary and made the room look lovely and upgraded us. We also loved the complimentary drink on arrival. Thank you!

There wasn’t a towel rail in our bathroom which we felt was odd, especially for a luxury room. A minor thing but the bath panel definitely needed to be varnished in patches, just little things!

My girlfriend and I stayed for 1 night for my 30th birthday. After visiting our room we noticed a strange smell so the concierge escorted us back to the check-in desk. We were given an upgraded room for free which was beautiful. After returning from dinner in the city we found a complimentary bottle of Prosecco in the room and a lovely card from Mahreen in reception. The bed was very comfortable and the facilities were fantastic. Thank you very much for helping create such a magical memory for us.

Staff were very accommodating, friendly and attentive

My only annoyance was the only USB ports are integrated with the lamps, and it seemed every time the lights were off the charging stopped, so could not charge phone during the night. This might be a safety feature, but most other hotels have separate USB ports for nighttime charging so seemed a bit odd. But still, a very minor negative

The staff greeted us with a warm welcome and a cold glass of sparkling wine. The decor, cleanliness and style of the reception and foyer area was typically classy of a central London hotel, the rooms were big and comfortable. We had breakfast the next morning which was very nice and again the staff were all attentive and helpful. We really enjoyed the stay.

We only stayed 1 evening, but we’d genuinely be nit picking to find any fault in our short stay.

Staff were amazingly friendly, the room was great with a complimentary mini bar, and the facilities were good . Location was quite good also, close to underground and a few restaurants and bars near by without the hustle bustle of the city centre

Only 2 small things. One, I wasn't made aware of the 40 pound per night surcharge, a little unexpected. Secondly, and this is only a small thing, we wanted to eat in the restaurant on our last night as we were tired and didn't want to venture out but the menu was reduced and not to our liking, but there was a lovely Italian restaurant round the corner and other facilities if required, so not a big issue.
