Was such a lovely place to stay for our short holiday. In the middle of many beautiful and historic attractions and many gorgeous beaches so you have plenty of choice on things to do while in Cornwall. Room was lovely and clean, well stocked with things you would expect and honestly much more spacious than a lot of other rooms ive previously stayed in. It's on a lovely quiet road so perfect for people who enjoy their peace and want to get a good night's sleep for the next day. The kitchenette is stocked with so many options for breakfast and even a huge range of coffee and tea for literally anyone's tastes. And if hot drinks aren't your fancy there was even cold water and orange juice in the fridge. The owners are a lovely couple too and make great conversation. She even gave us ideas on things we could do in the area which we actually did several of and had a wonderful time, as well as giving us tips on how to get around, places to park and the best joints for food. They have a huge booklet with all the information you could need to make your holiday go much smoother which was a really nice touch. In all me and my partner would highly recommend this accomodation for your trips to Cornwall.

I genuinely can't think of any improvements to be made the place is just so well put together and stocked up. You do need to share parking with the owners but as long as you keep your car to the lefthand side by the bush you're good to go and there should be no problems. Probably not a good choice if you have a large car like a rover but a normal sized car should be fine

How well thought out everything was for a little getaway. The room was all in immaculate condition, from cleanliness to tidiness. We had all facilities we require from towels, to hairdryers, a fan for the room etc. It was lovely and light, modern and scenic for where the location was to. The kitchenette we was provided was well set up. Very organised for everything you may need. As well as kept well on top of by the host. If bins needed changing/recycling emptied it was. If areas of food provided kindly by the host needed topping up, it was done each day to keep us a float. The variation was amazing overall. And any dirty dishes we had, we never touched, the host would clean for us to. The host was so friendly, thoughtful and kind. And gave us brilliant recommendations for things to do in the area we were staying. We couldn't of asked for anything more. A lovely little area well thought out, looked after thoroughly by the host and taken great care of for there next customers all of the time.

There was nothing whatsoever we disliked at all.

You're only 15-20 minutes away from anything you want to see on the western half of Cornwall! The room is beautifully laid out and the kitchenette has a great selection for breakfast (or even if your guilty pleasure is a bowl of cereal in the evening... Like some heathen 😋). It's the perfect place to stay if you're looking to explore loads if places in Cornwall and Alison is a very kind and friendly host. My girlfriend and I will definitely be hoping to visit again sometime!

The bed is nice it just takes getting used to if you don't have a memory foam mattress (so take this with a pinch of salt). The only other thing i'd add is a jar of peanut butter would have been perfect somewhere in the kitchenette. But this is a trifling thing about a room that's already practically perfect!

Beautiful property, exceptionally clean to the highest standard I have ever met ( with my OCD) 😁 Perfect location for visiting places. Highly recommended. Hosts Alison and Mark most welcoming, shared their knowledge of interesting places to visit. Excellent breakfast choices. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. 5* service - Outstanding!!!!! Nothing - it was perfect!

Excellent location, peaceful and quiet but easy access to local area. Huge choice of options for self-service breakfast, including fresh fruit, cereals, teas/coffees, small kitchenette with fridge and appliances. On local bus route for St Ives to Penzance route…avoids huge problems especially with parking/access to St Ives (we visited July, high season). Alison a friendly and attentive host who goes the extra mile to make her guests happy.

Ideally, an easy chair would have been useful ( but room not really big enough and does have table and two chairs, as well as double bed already).

Located in a village near St. Ives, with a comfy bed, floor heating, spacious dining area, cute private kitchen outside the bedroom with a fridge, microwave, milk, jams, snacks, oatmeal, cereal etc. Everything we needed was there. Host's extraordinary hospitality exceeded my expectations. We also got advice about Helligan Gardens, which we visited on the way and were a magical experience! They also have the best shower :)

Nothing, the place is perfect.

The room was comfortable, the en-suite was spacious and everything was immaculate. There was also a lovely little kitchen for our use. Everything you would possibly need was there and our host kindly made sure that everything was perfect, she also put in little treats from time to time. The area is perfect to get around Cornwall. Staying here was a delight.

Everything was perfect. Our host Alison was friendly and kind .had provided lots of information on where to go what to do and everything one needs to know to get around Cornwall, St Ives, Penzance The room was very nicely decorated with en suite bathroom and also provided with shampoo shower gel and conditioner. Wifi and TV with Netflix King size bed was super comfortable and we had a small private kitchen with continental breakfast that was replenished every day Overall very happy with our accommodation Definitely recommend

I was looking for a room in this location in short time, just been out with my girlfriend for 1 day at the beginning but in the end we was planning for 2 day's and 1 night. During the morning coffee, I found this room on booking and it was the only one that attract my interest and my preference. Alison was an amazing person really friendly and with passion for what she is doing. She explain to me what to visit and what do to in the area, she also have a full map on the wall with a beautiful catalogue full with pictures from different attraction. So in another words, a great passion for what she is doing and she is really careful with her guest at all the time. The room was accurate with the photo that she post on the advert, about cleaning? amazing, everything was in the right position with 100% cleaner and a lots of facilities. Great comfort, great position great value for money. I will really recommended and I will come back at the same location next time when I visit Cornwall again.

High quality, comfortable, modern and very clean room and facilities. Excellent shower and kitchenette. Continental style breakfast included with a generous choice (including various herbal teas) and lovely fresh fruit and yoghurts. Complimentary toiletries, biscuits and snacks. Car parking alongside accommodation with full access at all times. Plenty of information about the accommodation and equipment (TV, microwave etc) and very thoughtful information about the local and wider area’s points of interest, eateries etc. We visited Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens, St Michael’s Mount and St Ives during our thoroughly enjoyable but all too short stay. Would definitely recommend this high quality home from home accommodation as an excellent base for a holiday or business trip.
