Lovely and clean, with use of a kitchen with washer and dryer.
The WiFi didn’t really work when I was there.

I (female solo traveller) tayed here on way along the coast path. check in was easy, I was taken to my room and showed around. the dinner was delicious!! I ate so much after a big day's walking it was perfect. the room was perfect for one, very clean and very comfy. i slept so well. I had a shared bathroom, which was pristine, and the shower was amazing after a day hiking. the shared bathroom was with the other single occupancy room, and there were no issues there at all, no queuing or waiting to use it. they also had washing and drying facilities which I didn't use but thought was really helpful. breakfast was also delicious and set me up well for the next day of hiking
Was perfect

The room (6) was comfortable with a comfy bed and the atmosphere of the bar beneath. The shower was excellent with consistent hot water. The guest kitchen was amazing, and I read there and enjoyed some of the complimentary coffee and gin. The breakfasts were also excellent and meant lunch was not needed!
The pub food was good but expensive for what I got (£16 for the veggie curry with a single popadum). I expected more real ales and the one I had, called the Tinner's, was OK but nothing special. When I checked in, I wasn't told that I could use the guest kitchen, and the gentleman who checked me in was rather taciturn, not especially welcoming. However, the rest of the staff were friendly enough.

The White House and the Tinners Arms are exceptional. We had the large double room upstairs in the White House which looked out on a pleasant view to the front and the historic church so close to the side. Visit the Church to see the historic carving of the Mermaid of Zennor and of course the beautiful church itself. The White House was lovely and warm, with a large welcoming hallway with room for muddy boots, coats and in our case, a tiny poodle! There is a very large communal kitchen with guest fridge, extra kettles, teapots and toaster, and laundry facilities should you need it! A large farmhouse table should you wish to sit around and tell ghost stories or tales of mermaids, and access to the back garden. Our room was warm, cosy and very clean, with a large and comfortable bed with sparkling white bed linen. A tea tray and kettle and teapot with a selection of hot drinks and biscuits were a lovely addition, as were the little bottles of Cornish water. Everything has been carefully thought of, including the natural toiletries in the bathroom. Lovely shower, big white fluffy towels and even bathrobes and slippers were provided. This is 5 star accommodation bearing in mind the historic nature of the buildings and the rural location. We loved everything including the residents dining room set at the back of the pub. The staff were the friendliest and most helpful that we have ever come across, with a great welcome from Chris, great service from Bill and brilliant breakfasts with great choice from Cheryl. The evening meals were excellent and every member of staff that we saw looked happy, which says a lot. Everywhere was exceptionally clean and nothing was too much trouble. We would very happily stay again! We loved it! Oh and we had Sunday Roast dinner too which was so, so lovely and my vegetarian version was simply the best!
There is a tiny wooden staircase up to the upper floor which could be tricky for some, but downstairs room is available. There was nothing that we didn’t like!

Great location and a much livelier pub in the evening than we somehow expected to find. Good atmosphere. The guys at the bar were all friendly and helpful. The evening fish and chips was excellent, and the Full English breakfast was superb. I always believe you can judge how good your Full English will be by starting with an examination of the sausage. If they've taken the trouble to source a good sausage then you're onto a winner. This sausage was one of the finest, and what's more it came as a pair!
There's only one little niggle for me and that is that the WiFi didn't extend to the rooms in the White Cottage. I couldn't pick it up either upstairs or downstairs, even though there seemed to be a router in there. Maybe it was a different network to the pub on and I didn't notice?

Not the first time we've stayed at the White House, part of the Tinners, and it was such a lovely time. A delight to be back and on one of the sunniest Saturdays in a while. Everyone makes you feel really welcome and takes the time to make sure you are settled in. Room had a great view and felt light and comfortable, good nights sleep was had after a long day walking, being on the water and tucking into fab fish and chips while listening to some live music from Yellow Car - special mention for them! For anyone not aware of Zennor, it's a magical spot and the coast path spectacular, if you're heading to this part of Cornwall put it on your list. We will undoubtedly be back… Thanks to all for a great stay.
I can't really fault the place or the people at all! Restores the soul…

I loved everything about The White House It was beautifully presented with furniture and linens in keeping with the period of the house.I felt like Emily Bronte in my room. The bathroom and kitchen were exquisite. The dining room is gorgeous and the service staff and food was second to none .The pub is old and gorgeous and full of character and the garden and parking facilities perfect. And then there are the views and the beautiful church..... stunning And right next to the coastal path...just wonderful I can't wait to return next year.
There was nothing not to like It was perfect

Lovely quirky pub stay. Tranquil, comfortable clean double room with en-suite shower room. Attractively decorated. Generous tea and coffee making facilities. Thoughtful attention to detail. Communal kitchen for guests, and private garden as well for guests who might prefer some peace and quiet, rather than the bustling pub garden. Lovely welcoming, considerate hosts.
There is nothing not to like. Perhaps the bathroom was on the small side but it certainly wasn’t too small and it was great that the bedroom was big enough to accommodate it.

This is a really lovely friendly cosy hotel. We had an excellent room, spacious, quiet, with a decent bathroom, and a view of the very interesting parish church. There's a heated space to leave your muddy hiking boots downstairs, along with facilities including a washing machine and kitchen for guests. Upstairs, there's even a bookshelf with books for guests to read, and a few guest rooms opening off the landing. The tiny pub adjoining offers breakfast and dinner and is so small you'll soon find yourself chatting to local people. The food was great, and we ate there for two of the three nights. It's a 30 minute walk across the fields to the highly rated Gurnard's Head Inn if you fancy fine dining.
It was perfect.

The cooked breakfasts here are excellent. The food was served to the table really hot, probably the best we have ever had. Our room was very cosy/ comfortable and the bathroom was lovely and modern. You had the use of the facilities of a kitchen and (although we didn't have one) dogs were really well catered for, with blankets at the ready...It was excellent value for money! I have never actually said that before! The pub itself is idyllic with a lovely log fire and an excellent selection of drinks. How lovely to be able to buy a Cote de Provence Rose by the glass, rather than the usual boring Pinot Gregio or Zinfandel! Staff were very friendly and the bar food was really good. We just loved it here!
