Lovely and clean, with use of a kitchen with washer and dryer.
The WiFi didn’t really work when I was there.

I (female solo traveller) tayed here on way along the coast path. check in was easy, I was taken to my room and showed around. the dinner was delicious!! I ate so much after a big day's walking it was perfect. the room was perfect for one, very clean and very comfy. i slept so well. I had a shared bathroom, which was pristine, and the shower was amazing after a day hiking. the shared bathroom was with the other single occupancy room, and there were no issues there at all, no queuing or waiting to use it. they also had washing and drying facilities which I didn't use but thought was really helpful. breakfast was also delicious and set me up well for the next day of hiking
Was perfect

The White House and the Tinners Arms are exceptional. We had the large double room upstairs in the White House which looked out on a pleasant view to the front and the historic church so close to the side. Visit the Church to see the historic carving of the Mermaid of Zennor and of course the beautiful church itself. The White House was lovely and warm, with a large welcoming hallway with room for muddy boots, coats and in our case, a tiny poodle! There is a very large communal kitchen with guest fridge, extra kettles, teapots and toaster, and laundry facilities should you need it! A large farmhouse table should you wish to sit around and tell ghost stories or tales of mermaids, and access to the back garden. Our room was warm, cosy and very clean, with a large and comfortable bed with sparkling white bed linen. A tea tray and kettle and teapot with a selection of hot drinks and biscuits were a lovely addition, as were the little bottles of Cornish water. Everything has been carefully thought of, including the natural toiletries in the bathroom. Lovely shower, big white fluffy towels and even bathrobes and slippers were provided. This is 5 star accommodation bearing in mind the historic nature of the buildings and the rural location. We loved everything including the residents dining room set at the back of the pub. The staff were the friendliest and most helpful that we have ever come across, with a great welcome from Chris, great service from Bill and brilliant breakfasts with great choice from Cheryl. The evening meals were excellent and every member of staff that we saw looked happy, which says a lot. Everywhere was exceptionally clean and nothing was too much trouble. We would very happily stay again! We loved it! Oh and we had Sunday Roast dinner too which was so, so lovely and my vegetarian version was simply the best!
There is a tiny wooden staircase up to the upper floor which could be tricky for some, but downstairs room is available. There was nothing that we didn’t like!

This is a really lovely friendly cosy hotel. We had an excellent room, spacious, quiet, with a decent bathroom, and a view of the very interesting parish church. There's a heated space to leave your muddy hiking boots downstairs, along with facilities including a washing machine and kitchen for guests. Upstairs, there's even a bookshelf with books for guests to read, and a few guest rooms opening off the landing. The tiny pub adjoining offers breakfast and dinner and is so small you'll soon find yourself chatting to local people. The food was great, and we ate there for two of the three nights. It's a 30 minute walk across the fields to the highly rated Gurnard's Head Inn if you fancy fine dining.
It was perfect.

The cooked breakfasts here are excellent. The food was served to the table really hot, probably the best we have ever had. Our room was very cosy/ comfortable and the bathroom was lovely and modern. You had the use of the facilities of a kitchen and (although we didn't have one) dogs were really well catered for, with blankets at the ready...It was excellent value for money! I have never actually said that before! The pub itself is idyllic with a lovely log fire and an excellent selection of drinks. How lovely to be able to buy a Cote de Provence Rose by the glass, rather than the usual boring Pinot Gregio or Zinfandel! Staff were very friendly and the bar food was really good. We just loved it here!

Easy walk off the coastal path for an overnight stay before walking the next day. Check in was at the bar and we were expected. The small bar had the fiddlers in that evening as it was first Sunday of the month which gave a great atmosphere. We had evening meal at the pub and had Sunday roast which was fabulous. Tea making facilities in the room, best cuppa brand I’ve tasted. Lovely hot shower with local shampoo, conditioner and shower gel which was fantastic. The breakfast was fantastic too, ordered Cornish breakfast the night before and fantastic quality and set us up for the day. There was cereal and toast too. The staff were only too happy to provide a packed lunch on request which was also good value.

Lovely quirky pub stay. Tranquil, comfortable clean double room with en-suite shower room. Attractively decorated. Generous tea and coffee making facilities. Thoughtful attention to detail. Communal kitchen for guests, and private garden as well for guests who might prefer some peace and quiet, rather than the bustling pub garden. Lovely welcoming, considerate hosts.
There is nothing not to like. Perhaps the bathroom was on the small side but it certainly wasn’t too small and it was great that the bedroom was big enough to accommodate it.

The fire place in the pub was beautiful. Staff very friendly! Food was excellent!!! A very cute romantic cozy little place.
Unfortunately there was no TV in the room. Wasn't feeling well on my trip, and it would have been nice to have that when I went for a lay down. Also, the pub can close early if quiet so you would be limited for entertainment if that happens as there is nothing else around. The lights in the room are extremely bright. I would recommend a dimmer switch. Apart from that it is a 10/10 stay.

Breakfast was excellent. The complimentary drinks and guest fridge was an unexpected bonus. The shower was lovely and hot, with a waterfall setting. The Towels provided were top quality as well as the complementary shower gels and shampoo. The whole house was heated and felt very cosy. We loved the large kitchen, which was wonderfully warm and perfect for drying out our wet walking stuff. The large table is perfect for groups. Free use of walking stick, local magazines, books and dog towels! Use of laundry facilities. There is a 'guests only' magical garden and plenty of outdoor seating with little trees and umbrellas giving a romantic setting. The church is well worth a visit. The coast path is just a short walk away with spectacular views. However, the walk is challenging in the wind. We walked to The Gurnard's Head Pub along the coast path in the pouring rain (in November) which made a great days entertainment with trepidation - something to have a chuckle at! It was easy to dry out our stuff. They gave us complimentary champagne with our breakfast because it was my 60th. The facilities on offer and the price we paid, left us feeling that we got excellent value for money at the White House. Overall fantastic and all other guest houses should take note: this is how you do B&B.
The Tinners, although a beautiful original Pub with an open fire and friendly accommodating staff, we would have liked to have seen a wider variety of prices for the meals. The food served at The Tinners was very good, but there was a limited choice where everything was a little too expensive for us. I.e. we found the crab sandwich @ £18.50 very expensive. Our bar/food tab was high at the end of our stay.

Stayed while walking the South West Coast path and this humble place exceeded our expectations. The restaurant is the only dining option and we had a fine meal. it's very historic and a fun atmosphere. The gardens are popular with walkers and were busy all afternoon but the evening was quiet. The lodgings are separate from the pub and the room, while simple, was comfortable. A washer/dryer is available which we made use of. There is also a kitchen for making tea etc.
The breakfast was a bit chaotic as everyone arrived at once.
