Rockview is one of the best guest houses we have ever stayed in. The room was comfortable and cosy, with fantastic sea-views and morning sunrise that we all enjoyed. The room was clean to a high standard and well maintained throughout the stay, with fantastic facilities for teas, coffee and a fridge with fresh milk and water daily. We stayed with our 11 month old, nothing was too much for our hosts - our little one was provided with a travel cot for sleeping and high chair for breakfast which was much appreciated. Breakfast itself was delightful, with plenty of choice for hot or cold food. We enjoyed a mixture of everything to set us up nicely for exploring the island. Thank you Mairi and Andrew for hosting our weekend stay, we will be back!

Absolutely stunning location, fabulous views over the harbour. Owners so friendly and helpful. We had the family room, plenty of space for three, beds were really comfortable and huge fluffy towels. A wee fridge with a large bottle of water and fresh milk, plenty of tea/coffee/hot chocolate options in the room, well thought out, Absolutely spotlessly clean, well maintained. Breakfast was tasty and great selection of continental items as well as the cooked breakfast which was tasty. Easy walk into Portree/Harbour/Beach. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Everything was great!

The host was incredibly warm and welcoming – they even shared some local Talisker whisky with us, which made us feel right at home. The room was spacious and comfortable, and it was wonderfully quiet at night. It’s a great location too – just a short walk to Portree park and the town centre, and the view from the window was absolutely stunning. The traditional Scottish breakfast was hearty and thoughtfully prepared – quite different from what you’d usually get elsewhere, and clearly made with care.

The only small downside was that the bathwater was a bit too cool.

Excellent 3 night stay at Rockview. We stayed in the "Black Rock" room, which was not only one of the nicest B&B rooms I have stayed in but also has a fantastic view of the bay in Portree. The bed was very comfortable, and it was difficult to get up in the morning - I could have stayed there with my morning coffee in bed just looking at the view. The bathroom was on the smaller side but was functionable, and the rain shower was powerful, and there was plenty of hot water. Breakfast was good, and there was a varied menu - I particularly enjoyed the warm croissants. There is no official parking at the B&B however, there is parking across the road and we never had any issues throughout our stay. Mairi and Andrew were fantastic hosts, and it is clear the love they have put into their business to make it a success . Great touch with the whisky - a wee dram every night. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Portree . Remember to book early as it gets booked up very quickly.

The owners were amazing very welcoming and made sure everything we needed was readily available. We have no complaints. The breakfast has lots of options and was very good. Showers her good and hot and most defiantly comfortable beds. The location was awesome, with all the amenities close by. Walking distance to restaurants and cafes. Beautiful views for sunsets and sun rise. I have included the pictures!

Breakfast was amazing, and prepared early for us to go hiking before check-out. The room was beautiful and the view…🤩🤩🤩. Location was perfect to walk for an evening meal. We were fortunate to get a parking spot out front, otherwise, options were given which I can’t say how far they were. Our hosts were two lovely people.

It was a busy (event) weekend, so we weren’t able to go to our choice of restaurant. It would have been nice to know to book in advance; zero vacancy for meals once we arrived.

Our stay at Rockview was excellent. Andrew and his wife make every effort to ensure your experience is special, being extremely attentive and always willing to help, with great attention to detail, such as having a bottle of whisky in the hallway for guests to enjoy a drink. The room was very spacious, with a spectacular view of the sea. They have a very organized system for breakfasts with a wide variety of choices. If you're a dog lover and lucky, you might get to see their adorable little dog.

The accommodation is very comfortable and very well equipped. The interior of the house and the room itself were amazing. Both owners are very nice people and they are always ready to answer your questions. Breakfast was very tasty. Also the location is just perfect. We will definitely come back.

There is nothing to complain. The only problem can be parking. The public one across the street is not available at all times. However the paid option is less than 10 minutes walk.

Our hosts were amazing. They treat their guests like royalty. It was a perfect stay from start to finish! Andrew met us at the door, carried our luggage up to room, and made us feel welcome right away. Later, in the evening we met Mairi, who was our hostess for dinner. She was inquisitive about our travels and our lives. She felt like an old friend immediately, and best of all, she let us meet her dog! ;-) The hotel is lovely and very comfortable. The food was excellent and well prepared. We highly recommend this hotel.

It would have been good if the room temperature could be controlled from within the room as at some point overnight it got a bit too hot and one of my friends struggled to sleep.. Having said that I slept like a log and maybe there was a controller somewhere which we didn't find. But all in all a lovely place to stay. Everyone was very pleased! Thank you!
