This is a real treasure find. Firstly, location is great, lovely area of Sheffield, over looking a park, lovely high street with restaurants, bakeries ( lots of) bars.. all lovely and up market.. now the hotel.. the room ( dovecote) was at the top.. light, airy, high ceilings, beautifully decorated like a bedroom , not a hotel room.. we sat on the sofa in front of the large Juliette balcony and watched the world go by.. everything was spotless, the staff brought us cake.. really.. we kept on commenting how relaxing it was.. unlike a hotel atmosphere… and how I’d like by bedroom at home to look like that!! The bed was very comfy, crisp bedding, gorgeous bath in the room, and amazing bathroom with thoughtful lighting. The staff was fab, friendly, welcoming and normal! Really…. I didn’t want to write a review and let the cat out of the bag about this place…. But…. Credit where credit is due. We will be back! Thank you!

We loved how the public spaces were presented, lovely, light and nicely decorated. Staff were great, friendly and helpful. The room was a nice size, the bed really comfortable, great bathroom and shower, quiet. Everywhere felt really clean. Couldn’t have asked for more.

The room was on the top floor and the air conditioning didn’t really cool it down as it should. There were two fans but fans are only ever partially effective. The windows opened well and it would have been nice if these had been opened before we arrived as it wasn’t a hot day. Breakfast was a bit slow to arrive which wasn’t a problem for us, but if I had been at work I would have been getting a bit twitchy.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was very clean and it had everything one could ask for from such a hotel. In addition, the staff was very nice, polite, and helpful, and their hospitality was as it should be. A traditional and warm hospitality that is difficult to find nowadays, even in 5 star hotels. As an extra, every day, the team left a different home made cake in the room and all of them were very fresh and tasty. The restaurant on the ground floor had very nice food and a fun vibe. Overall, an excellent stay and I would highly recommend Brocco on the Park.

The only thing that could perhaps be better is if the room had an actual wardrobe with doors.

The room and staff were very good. It is a very nice hotel with very good, helpful staff and really nicely appointed rooms.

The stay was slightly let down by the fact that some refurbishments were happening while I was there. When I arrived there was no hot water although it did come on later. I had to look for staff to check in and out because they had to situate themselves in different places due the work in the main reception area. There was some signage about this, but it wasn't particularly clear, and it had not been communicated to me before my arrival.

The rooms here are outstanding - every little feature is well thought through, and comfort is considered always. The beds were amazingly comfortable, the temperature just right, and all the facilities perfect. The staff also could not have been more helpful and welcoming.

The breakfast was also delicious - just would have liked to have had the option of booking bed and breakfast, rather than having to book and pay for the breakfast separately.

This hotel really goes above and beyond. From lovely little touches in the room, the fantastic friendly staff and beautiful individually decorated rooms, this is a really stand out hotel. The veggie breakfast is probably the best I have ever had too. I just love this place and choose to stay here whenever I am in Sheffield.

The plastic dressing table chair is a bit uncomfortable, but I can't think of anything that really needs changing

Very comfortable bed with a relaxing view and great location for exploring the local scene. Room facilites all worked well and we enjoyed the complimentary cakes that awaited us.

The carpet in the room was frayed, and two of the cushions were also worn with a hole in them. For a >£200 one night stay in the most expensive room in the hotel, it was a bit of a dampener. We were only staying the one night, and hopefully as we let the receiptionist know as we checked out, this can be easilly rectified

My room was very comfortable and the staff were helpful and pleasant. There were nice little touches, such as the pieces of chocolate cake and the bathroom was well-fitted. The hotel is at a reasonably busy location but I could hardly hear the traffic noise. It is one minute from the lovely Endcliffe Park. My evening meal was nicely cooked and tasty.

The hotel has no lift. Fortunately I didn't have heavy luggage

Never stayed at a hotel that was so hospitable. Hotel staff constantly took care of us and anything we needed. They really treated us like family and brought us homemade pastries every morning that just made our day. We really appreciated our fridge was stocked with water and milk every day. The restaurant's food is amazing and the atmosphere is so relaxing. The rooms on the top floor were perfect for our stay and had beautiful views of Sheffield. The staff was so helpful at helping me get around town and give me ideas on kid friendly activities around town. Love the location of the hotel as well. You're in walking distance to the Botanical Gardens and Endcliffe Park as well as the downtown boutique shops. Matthew recommended us to visit Graves Animal Park and that was only a 15 minute drive and perfect place for children.

Our A/C wasn't blowing full pressure and the staff had already ordered the part and was waiting to receive it. So really nothing that wasn't being corrected. Thankfully the fan that we had in our room helped out a lot.

Welcoming ambience with friendly staff in all areas, helpful from booking right through to leaving at the end of our stay. Very comfortable rooms with thoughtful touches (complimentary homemade cake in the afternoon!). The hotel takes pride and care in cooking and presenting food and we enjoyed hearty breakfasts from a varied menu. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable experience, thank you all at Brocco!
