Apartment was large, with a massive bathroom (for the UK). Very warm with lots of radiators which was great because it was 0c outside. Well appointed kitchen and beds were comfy. Really enjoyed staying there.

Booked the apartment because it said it had a washing machine etc. HOWEVER, there was no dryer at all and if you wanted your clothes dried you either hung them over the radiators and prayed they dried or you could take them down to the Queens Hotel and staff had a small dryer where they would dry your clothes. Seemed ridiculous. Far better off to put in a dryer or washer/dryer. Btw while waiting for our washing to be dried at the Queens, there's a bar, so it takes about 4 - 6 pints to your stuff is dry.

The check-in experience via the Queens Hotel was excellent, with friendly welcoming staff who easily directed us to the apartments. The apartment itself was fantastic! It was spacious, had a surprisingly well equipped kitchen and the shower had great water pressure.The beds were very comfortable, and the heating in every room was appreciated .Communication from the hotel and also from the booklet supplied in the apartment was excellent and both provided all the information you could possibly need for an enjoyable stay. We absolutely loved the location and found it to be a really central location for the tours we had booked as well as the bars , shops and restaurants....everything is walkable. We loved the charm and cosy vibe of this york apartment and found it to be great value for money. If we could rate it higher we would, thanks for a great stay !

The property was spacious, clean and ideally located for central York

For a self catering aparment the kithcen tools were extermely limited (one very small cooking knife). When we checked out of the property we unfortunatley left a significant amount of Beers, Food and a cooking thermometer in the cupboards. Despite contacting the reception the same day, and two further times over a couple of days. This was not followed up properly until I messaged the reception via Booking .com. by this time we were informed the left items had been apparently 'disposed of' and was offered £20 compensation.

Easy check-in and key collection from The Queens Hotel just around the corner from the apartment. Great location, just minutes from the river. Everything you need from an apartment, also with a free secure parking space. Nice white bedding and fluffy white towels. Extra pillows if needed. Wall heaters with temperature controls so the apartment was nice and warm at New Year. Basic essentials like dish soap, J Cloth, tea towel all supplied in the kitchen together with sufficient items to prepare a meal. The apartment block seems to be rented to Booking.com which for us was good to know this doesn't bother any 'residents'. We had an awesome weekend in York and would definitely book these apartments again.

We had to wash a few crockery and glass items as they weren't clean enough for us. The sofa bed in the lounge is a decent size but as with most sofa beds, isn't a comfortable sleep (but I think you kind of expect this with a sofa bed).

Really good layout and plenty of space. The kitchen had everything you needed and plenty of tea, coffee, sugar, and milk with a couple of biscuits. The bathroom was a good size, plenty of towels, nice and warm. Bed was lovely and comfy. There is plenty of wardrobe space. A hairdryer.

The mirror in the bedroom could have done with a light above it as that side of the room was very dark. Hard to do makeup. Also could do with lights in wardrobe, make it easier to see clothes. 3 press button lights spread out would make a difference. The hook on the back of bathroom door is loose.

Great location and car park directly underneath for free. If driving wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Great location, easily walkable to most of the main attractions. Property very secure, very clean, and controllable heating - very easy to keep it nice and cosy but not overheated. Good storage. Cleaning staff were lovely, as were hotel reception. We didn’t use the parking, but it is behind locked gates, looks secure. Maybe a tight-ish space for manoeuvring if you have a big/long car.

Only issue was the WiFi, which was very unpredictable- we gathered that this is a problem in the area, and property owners have been trying to find a fix for it.

The location for walking to York Town centre is excellent. Secure, free parking (book a space when you book accomodation). Secure, gated property. Very cosy accommodation. Beds are comfortable and it was so clean.

Not enough hot water for 4 people to have a decent shower as it's a tank. This was OK for us as we got up at different times so had time for the water to reheat. Needs better windows as it was very noisy on Friday and Saturday night with party goers on the way home until about 1am. It sounded like the windows were open.

The property was much bigger than we expected, the rooms were all clean and tidy. We liked having a balcony. The kitchen was full equipped with everything we needed

The property was really hard to find, as Apple Maps took us to the wrong place. We tried to phone the queens hotel for directions, but had no answer. The property was very nice though when we found it after an hour search. Unfortunately we didn’t have a parking space, as we were only told about limited parking two days before our stay. However the whole weekend we were there, there was 2/3 empty parking spaces and we had to pay for parking down the road

Easy check in. Good location. Large apartment Full working kitchen - so if staying for a longer time could make use of this Secure building.

The bathroom in the apartment smelt of mould/musty The apartment was on the top floor so in the hot weather was quite uncomfortable even with a fan ( could benefit from Aircon) Having to bring your own bins out - or be fined £25.. cleaning fees should be included in the price as this is part of a hotel I wouldn't expect to have to take away my own rubbish.
