Location, location. This is almost directly across the road from the entrance to Disneyland - just a few steps. Very convenient to come and go from Disneyland, particularly for our afternoon break. While it was all basic (as expected), the room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the motel was quiet and safe. I chose this, compared with other motels close to Disneyland, for the Parlor Suite room and glad that I did - just that extra bit of room and privacy for members of the family. It was good having an elevator, and the ice machine and guest laundry were handy.

The breakfast was ok but extremely basic. The service at the front desk was variable. It would be nice if they had some Disney theming or anything to make the front lobby a bit more welcoming.

breakfast was good although could of had scrambled eggs also along with hard boiled eggs.. overall breakfast was better than the usual coffee juice and a bagel.... what was provided was cereal,milk,juice,oatmeal,coffee,toast,yogurt, Svenhards brand pastry, kids loved the pool per hot weather ... a plus was that it was indoor shaded from hot sun... and if you got cold you can warm up a bit in the small heated pool.

blankets could of been better the blankets were short and slightly heavy but manageable .... kids and wife were freezing even with a/c temps at 75 degrees. Im 5ft 3 inches and you would of had to turn the blankets sideways to be long enough to cover your feet but if you did so anybody sleeping next to you like my wife a few nights and son would not have enough blanket to cover them. Last thing was no hand soap was available in room.

Location, location! Literally right across the street from the main entrance of Disneyland. Room was really good for 3 travelers with one person having a pull out couch (pretty comfortable) in a separate small room, nice for a child, or grandparent. Continental breakfast was provided and decent enough, plus fireworks could be seen from the rooftop. Fridge and microwave in room too. Staff were extremely nice.

It took at least 5 minutes for water to get even warm. Windows don’t open so it is all AC or nothing. On top of room cost, there is a daily charge for parking. After walking miles inside Disneyland, It would be sooo nice to have seating on the rooftop to watch fireworks.

We really like that the sleeper sofa area was its own room with it's own shutting door. It made it much easier for the baby to sleep with that extra separation. We were able to get a crib brought up and a late checkout without any issues. Having the sink outside of the shower and toilet room was great as well. We could see the fireworks really well from our room and the rooftop patio was great!

The breakfast was "ok" we were hoping for a little more hearty of a breakfast, like eggs or meat would of been great. The coffee at breakfast was disgusting! luckily the room had a small coffeepot with decent coffee. The hide a bed wasn't very comfy either, but we weren't really expecting it to be. that's a tough one to get right anywhere. items in the little store they had was great and convenient, but WAY overpriced!

The location of the hotel couldn’t be better-right across the road from the entrance to Disneyland. I expected it to be pretty basic and was impressed by the size of the room, the cleanliness everywhere, the friendliness of the staff and things like the room being cleaned daily and towels replaced, having a tea/coffee making machine in the room, also an iron, ironing board, microwave and quite large fridge.

The window looked onto an internal courtyard with other rooms opposite so we kept the shutters closed the whole time meaning we had to have the lights on. But we weren’t in the room much in the daytime anyway so it didn’t really matter.

After a not-so-good stay at a pretentious and expensive hotel on Pismo Beach, Anaheim Desert Inn and Suites exceeded my expectations. It was a clean, large, friendly and unpretentious, yet offered conveniences that any person or family will appreciate including a microwave in the room, two bathrooms in the two-room suite, continental breakfast, and soft two-ply toilet paper! Of course, can't beat the location across Disneyland's main entrance.

Was there a parking fee? I have to check my folio. Maybe I'm sorry I wasn't able to try out the indoor pool. I saw a lot of children, understandably.

The room was excellent size for the money. Everything in the room was great and had a quiet location away from the street. Working refrigerator was a bonus. Given that it was across the street from Disneyland made it very convenient. We got luck with the parking and had a covered spot keeping the car out of the sun the entire day while we were in the Park.

The free breakfast was not that great. Some cereal and packaged pastries. Only hot items were coffee and toast. Toast was some off brand bread which was not very good. If you want/need a hot breakfast this hotel is not for you. Was not clear on the web site that parking was an extra cost. The charge was $20 plus a $3 tax. Did not know hotels were required to put a tax on parking. Is it considered a service?

Fantastic team, and a location that is right outside the Disney Parks (like a 5 minute walk). We came back for a midday rest and reset, and it was perfect. We loved the storage options too, pre check in and post check out We were able to lock away our belongings safely, so we could go and enjoy ourselves without our luggage.

Definitely not the most modern hotel, with a number of cosmetic things in the room that were not working quite right - for example the flush cap was falling off and the shower head was leaking to one side. Also the light outside the room on level 2 made it impossible to get the room dark - luckily we were so out of it from the Parks to notice!

Could not beat the location! After a long day at Disney, this is closer than working to the parking lots. The room was clean and comfortable, but as expected, no frills. Breakfast was fine: hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, toaster, etc.; nothing fancy. There is an ice machine in the center of the third floors, and there are at least 2 sets of elevators. There is an indoor pool and jacuzzi, but we didn't use it. Parking is provided at a cost less than parking at the parks, though you do need to move your car on the day of check out (unless there is room in the lot, and then the price is much higher).

This is really minor, but instead of drapes, our room had plantation shutters, so the light definitely came in the room in the morning. That being said, I am sure most guests are up and out of the room to head to the parks before the sun becomes an issue.

The location is excellent and the beds were comfortable. We were on the top floor and experienced amazing quietness throughout the night. However, during the day, we could hear our neighbors through the walls. The AC worked great and the shower had great water pressure.

The breakfast only starts at 7 am. Because we were aiming for "rope drop", we didn't have breakfast at the hotel. There are limited luggage storage space. So, if you are planning on arriving before check in or check out early to hit the parks, you may not be able to store your luggage at the hotel, which is unfortunate.
