Hi. I am usually given a handicapped accessible room, but this time I wasn't. I made the room work. The young man at the front desk was so helpful and friendly and the attendant who helped with my suitcase was helpful, but didn't say a word. I love the breakfast! I love the location! I love the hotel, with the exception of how dark the rooms are. Last week I was in a different city and stayed at the Fairfield Inn and it was a disaster. Your hotel has so much to offer, but it's way past time for the rooms to be updated!

The room was fine, but why don't you have adequate lighting in your rooms - they are so dark and depressing? The shower was walk-in so that worked, but there was no hook on the door for a wet towel. I was told by the owner quite awhile ago that they were going to update the rooms. I've been staying there 3-4 times a year for the last two years and I don't see any updating.

Beds were very comfortable and the pillows soft and plentiful. We had a quiet top floor corner room which was perfect for our week long stay. The room was laid out well with lots of outlets. TV gets Netflix so we were happy. The pool is kept warm enough to be always inviting for a dip. The hot tub is a good size. Pool and Hot Tub hours from 7-9 so available most of the time. Breakfast was very good once you go through the individual ordering process. There is an Applebee's next door and we ate there several times for convenience.

There is no microwave in the room but there is a fridge. The tap water was not tasty did not use the in room coffee maker, so we went to the lobby to get our wake up coffee each morning. The made to order bistro breakfast is covered by your room rate if you choose the option, otherwise the bistro is expensive. You wait in line to order your breakfast and a Starbuck's drink or juice (we opted for the lobby coffee and ordered juice instead). At times the line can take 15 minutes before you get to order, and about 5 minutes until the lovely lady carries out your breakfast to your table.

The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable and had the great Marriott pillows I am very happy sleeping on. There was coffee available in the lobby with plenty of flavorings and other additives. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The fan in the shower area was very loud but not enough to spoil the stay....the shower head was older and partially plugged up causing it to spray in odd directions....

The Palm Desert Courtyard is very similar to other Courtyard properties - nice lobby, nice rooms. My only issue is the breakfast. We elected to have the breakfast included, and it wasn't clear what was actually included at their breakfast counter. One attendant told us the juice was included and the next day another attendant told us that it was not included. I think it would be nice if the Courtyard offered a breakfast buffet like other hotels similar to The Courtyard.

Aurora at the front desk was AMAZING!! She helped me get checked in quickly and was even able to give me early check-in which SAVED me greatly since the wedding time was before the 4pm check-in. She's a rock star, super professional and provides great customer service.

I did not eat breakfast at the location since it wasn't included with my stay. Although for $180 per night, I think it should have been included, so this is rather disappointing.

The barista needs help. I waited long do I left and the next morning I heard someone say their eggs were cold and to reheat it And then another lady came up saying she’d waited a long time for her food.

The staff is helpful, the ADA room is great, and the location is perfect.

I like staying at this property. I’ve stayed there twice now. However, there is no overhead light or light by the tv so the room is very dark.

Property was well maintained and clean. The staff was amazing and helpful.

Breakfast was offered for a fee, either in booking or when you ate. However there was very little choice on what you could order. Had I know the options ahead of time, I would not have prepaid. However that is not enough for me to not stay again.

Cleanness of the property, Hand Sanitizer by Elevators, Coffee ready on the go, and the QUIETNESS in the Hallways.. But, most of all I was able to enjoy ALL the Indiana Jones movies back to back, Thanks to the Free Cable..

I didn't like the fact that they don't serve dinner like most Marriott, well named brand. But, Yes you do have Apple Bees next door which is convenient. And Starbucks only certain hours..

Pet friendly. Safe walking around the area. Updated decor

No luggage carts so had to make 2 trips on entry and departure. No hair dryer was a minor inconvenience. Had to get extra keys because the first 2 did not work
