The staff responded to everyone of our requests. The first night, twe asked if an upgrade was available, and they got it for us. We asked if there was a tub, and they set up a special thing with candles. Just great.

First room was a little small. Food at restaurant is good but could use a some different options. Some walls in and aroudn rooms could use a touch up.

The location was great. The pool and hot tub were wonderful. The best part of the trip was Edgar and Dutch, two employees there. They were AMAZING!! I was traveling with a friend and my expectations for luxury were a little higher than we experienced when we arrived. Those two made sure our stay was still wonderful!! They switched us to a more Comfortable room, spent time addressing our concerns. I have never had better customer service!

It needs some attention. Small things would help this place feel like the luxury it calls itself. New pillows, new and better towels, update the pool and hot tub furniture and cushions. And the breakfast basket was a nice touch but a fresh pastry from a local Source would be much nicer than the muffins. The fruit was fine but could be better. Organic with more flavor and options perhaps.

Words can not express how much we loved La Serena. Right in the heart of downtown but down a quiet street. Walking distance to so many great restaurants and shops. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted like old friends. A welcome toast upon arrival in a beautiful lobby with the friendliest staff Truly an oasis. From the heated pool with lush surroundings. The sunbeds, plenty of umbrellas we never wanted to leave. Poolside restaurant was fabulous for breakfast and lunch. The service by the pool was phenomenal. Dinner is truly special with a lit up roof deck. Entering the rest of the property there is a hot tub and spa services. Each room is its own little villa. Ours was a king room with a porch swing out front and a back patio with a claw foot tub and a gas fire pit. The views are stunning with the San Jacinta mountains right behind the hotel. The bathroom is nice, great shower with luxurious amenities and there is even a bar area with a wine fridge. I loved getting breakfast basket with yogurt, muffins and fruit plus local Palm Springs dates was such a yummy treat. We had the best time riding the bikes they provided around the scenic town. All this was bliss but the real standout was the staff. The management team is so accessible and gets to know every guest. They truly thought of everything and went out of their way to make our little getaway perfect. Thank you Tim, Jose, Luke, Shantae, Kaitlyn and more! We can not wait to come again soon.

Overall beautiful property with spacious rooms and walking distance to downtown. The back patio firepit and bathtub are fun touches that make the stay more unique. The pool is heated in the winter which was really nice. We stayed over new years and they had a special NYE dinner and party on-site that was super fun. Most importantly the staff were all super helpful and accommodating. Anytime we had a question or issue they were quick to respond and always made us feel at home. Huge shout out to Holly and her team for making our stay extra special. We will 100% be coming back for another visit.

Some minor hiccups with the room such as burned out lights and broken safe, but the on site team really went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. They did a great job addressing the issues so we could focus on enjoying our stay.

The villas are gorgeous, the coffe perhaps the best I have ever had for in room. Outdoor fire pit and bath a gem. The property makes you feel like your transported to Spain. The mountain backdrop. It really was a percet place besides our check in.

There was a issue with the room we had booked and the staff that checked us in, Didn't mention anything. We had to wait to we see the room to discover it was not the room we had booked but a downgrade. The manger was lovely and did everything she could to rectify. However we felt the staff that checked us in was not right for a customer service facing role. We litterelly stood there for 10 minutes waiting to be checked in and didn't feel welcome. Then seen some others getting checked in with welcome drinks. Etc. We didn't get any of that. Really confused I felt like the staff had a vendetta against me and I had never met the guy in my life.

We booked a suite with a private hot tub for our stay. Location is walking distance to the center of the touristy area of the city. Pool area is amazing. Complimentary breakfast basket upon request consisted of coffee cake, yogurt and granola.

Street parking only. Check in staff were either always busy or not at the desk. Most communication is done via text. There were a few issues with the room that we brought up to the staff via text (lighting, water leaking), but nothing deal breaking. The room felt a little stuffy and there was a sign that requested that we not decrease the temp of the a/c below 72°. The pillows were also not very supportive.

The staff is amazing, particularly the manager José. He is so friendly and made us feel at home. It is our 2nd stay at La Serena and he is one of the reasons why we came back. We love the fact that La Serena is so peaceful and quiet. It's the perfect place to relax. Also the private outdoor patio with bathtub and fireplace is so cute and romantic. It's such a special touch, it contributes immensely to making the room so charming. We will definitely be back again!

We liked everything.

La Serena Villas are perfectly located on a relatively quiet street in downtown. The layout and features of our Villa were wonderful. The entire property is well maintained and, in fact, offered a sense of serenity and security.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. It has been disappointing and frustrating that the Hotel’s voicemail box is full and incapable of receiving messages.

La Serena was an absolutely beautiful, relaxing place to stay. The villa was private and had unique touches (outdoor and indoor bathtubs, fire table, robes, etc) that provided a wonderful venue for a romantic getaway. We got a couples massage at Whispers Spa; highly recommend. The breakfast was simple (yogurt, granola, muffins, oranges, etc) and perfect to hold us over until checkout. Inside the villa and throughout the property… no detail was left untouched. Such a beautiful property!

The water in the shower was tricky to get warm. We would have loved to have a tub stopper each for the indoor and outdoor tub (We could only find one).

First the place is just stunning! The staff of front desk was amazing and welcoming! Once we told them it’s our 10 years anniversary. In a matter of second they offered us cava bottle And some bubble bath so we can enjoy the tub at the villa . Every we got offered a complimentary breakfast that was at our door in the morning. Other than that , the view, and the boutique environment is just amazing. The fire pit outside was very nice at the end of the day to have a glass of wine we will definitely be back soon thank you
