The owners were freaking amazing, polite, kind, and very supportive. They took the time to come to my room and help me figure something out. Felt like I truly mattered. The room was awesome, and the shower and bathroom were amazing. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the kitchen setup was the best I have ever seen in a room.

The only part was the sweet, amazing, beautiful gal that i was talking to by the pool, was married, and was taken. Was such a shame, haha. She was amazing to talk to, and her husband was a great guy to talk to as well. I enjoyed our conversation. There was nothing to not like at this amazing, highly recommended Inn. I will be back in the near future for a few days.

I don’t write reviews, but the Old Ranch Inn far exceeded my expectations and I felt the need to let others know that this is a great place to stay. I don’t normally stay at boutique hotels, with their paper thin walls and too cool for school curated look that lacks substance, but being in PS for my birthday I wanted to try something less…corporate. Old Ranch Inn has substance, satisfactory walls and plenty of photo ops for Instagram. Jason @ Old Ranch Inn communicated everything I needed to know for check in via text, the entire interaction was effortless and professional. I loved the experience of showing up and walking right to our room, no peopling required. The room (Suite1) was perfect, kitchenette was awesome, bed was firm, room was clean clean…not just clean. I was worried that being one of the two rooms at the very entrance to the Inn that we would be bothered by the entry door opening and closing all night and in the morning, I heard the door open once or twice, but everyone was very courteous and respectful of the quiet atmosphere, room location was a nonissue. The entire Inn was quiet, peaceful and felt safe and secure. If it wasn’t for the cars in parking area for the Inn I would have thought we were the only guests. The location is great, not so close that it’s noisy, but close enough that you can walk to food and entertainment, if you are acclimated to the heat. I don’t think I have ever been a return hotel guest anywhere, I have never stayed someplace that made me brand loyal, but next time my partner and I head to PS, Old Ranch Inn will be our first choice for accommodations.

I really didn’t have any complaints, but if I was going to be super picky I would say…the electric leaf blower although better than a standard leaf blower took me out of the fantasy vacation mindset, for about 10 minutes, tops. That’s it, this place is really solid.

This is a sweet spot on peaceful Patencio Road in the heart of Palm Springs, walkable to many shops and some of the best restaurants in town. We loved the dining at FARM which is a short walk from Old Ranch Inn and we also picked up groceries, which was only a 10 min walk as well. The inn is anchored at the foot of the mountains, nestled amongst a several blocks of the most intriguing properties, historic inns, and stunning homes. The owners were disarmingly charming and kind. Everyone we encountered of the staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and helpful. Our room was perfect. We loved the mountain view, having a small kitchen with a pool view, and the extra space of a suite. Check-in was seamless, easy, and contactless. This was honestly the easiest check-in experience I have ever had. The hotel made our room available early and made every accommodation for our comfort. Upon entering into the King suite # 1, an old Thin Man movie was playing silently, the room was immaculately clean and was subtly decorated with festive holiday season touches, which we loved. Really hope to stay here again!

Spacious, clean room. Loved the bedside charging strips for easy phone charging and the full length mirror. Nice hot shower with good water pressure. Plenty of coffee pods. Toffee a nice touch. Loved that the pool was plenty warm for those chilly evenings. Liked the fire pit and purified water. Didn’t get a chance to use the bikes but nice to have them available. Plenty of seating around the pool with sun or shade and pool towels. The location is perfect! Close enough to walk anywhere in town for dinner or drinks but very quiet. Lovely Mountain View from the property, including the Frey house. Easy parking onsite or street parking available.

Not much to improve on but if I’m being picky, the bed was too firm for my taste. Felt like we had to keep our drapes closed all the time for privacy, but I guess that’s the nature of a property that surrounds the pool in that way. There was a strong smell of cleaner or something when we’d walk in. We had a cute patio in the back, but it turned out to be part of the housekeepers’ path to the rooms so no privacy there either. All in all a great stay for the price and I’d stay again.

We had a really pleasant stay - the Inn is tucked away and provides a quiet escape, but within super easy walking distance to everything in town. The owners were really nice and were very quick to respond to any questions we had via text. Room was really cozy and the bed was comfortable - I slept like the dead! I would highly recommend this place.

The room we had did make us feel like we were in a fish tank at times...We like to leave windows open as often as possible, but anyone coming and going had to walk past our room, so it felt a little odd.

Hotel was spectacular. Staff were so polite and attentive. So warm and welcoming. Location couldn’t be more perfect. Located at the base of the mountain, it’s so nostalgic Palm Springs. And walking distance to the heart of everything! King studio room was beyond lovely. Stayed during Coachella and they even had the housekeeper come clean our place later than normal. So thoughtful, we will definitely be back. Thank you for being exceptionally wonderful hosts!

The check-in was mostly by phone so when my plane landed, I knew how to access my room. The text exchanges worked for me and were prompt. The staff were pleasant (even when a neighbor burned popcorn in their room and set off all the fire alarms), it was an easy walk to the main street of Palm Springs and the owners allowed us to store our luggage until later in the evening which improved our plans greatly. I enjoyed the available coffee and having a fridge/microwave.

Very little - the mattress seemed to have some crevices where bodies lay (lol!) but other than that, great!

Super location, very walkable to downtown. Personal welcome note set a good tone. Comfortable bed and good kitchen facilities. Wifi signal strong Bikes available. Pool very welcome, with ample towels. All in all, very good indeed.

Tv and air-conditioning not very intuitive, and could do with some fuller instructions - but this is a minor quibble.

It was very clean, very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful setting with San Jacinto mountains in the background. Pool heated to 80 degrees. Fire pit. Everything we needed in kitchenette. Bed was super comfy. Clean linens and fluffy towels. Carpet felt new. It was perfect. Everything we wanted for a quick getaway. Close to shops and restaurants, easy walking to everything. Owners quick to respond w/anything we needed. A real gem.

The facilities are simple but hold all you need. The pool great, the view super nice. The room has all you need and more.! Coffee machine, microwave, etc. it’s a very relaxing place. If you are looking for luxury, not your place. If you look for good amenities and relaxing place…this is your place for sure. Thank you to the host.! Very friendly and kind.
