The property is right at Fisherman’s Wharf. Rooms very comfortable. It has a funky motif, game room for kids, etc.

I know parking is very expensive in SF but to charge $65 and don’t even allow being able to come in and out within a 24 hr period is terrible. Beware that if you check in and need to leave for an evening show or Giants game it will cost you another $65 when you come back to hotel. Also the check out auto gate misfunctions all the time.

Absolutely loved this hotel. The location is fantastic. The decor of the hotel is stunning. The games area on the ground floor is inspired. My children loved the pool table, the shuffle board. We didn’t get to use the table tennis as it was so popular! The rooms were great, spacious and again the decor was lovely. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or to recommend. We had 2 rooms for a family of 5.

One room went made up on day one. On the Saturday night there was quite a bit of noise out on Fishermans Wharf, I think weekends are super busy. Pulling up to the entrance my heart stopped because the outside looked a little scruffy, a tree blocking the hotel sign and a blue hoarding covered in bird poop. But then once inside I was blown away. The outside doesn’t do the hotel justice.

The location of the hotel was perfect and the scene from our room was hard to beat - with views of the pier and the famous sea lions!

The staff weren't rude, but weren't overly welcoming either. We tried to check in early but were told that there was a charge for this, even though rooms were ready; which didn't make much sense to us in regard to customer service. The hotel had nice facilities including a games room and outdoor space with a fire pit and access to nearby bars etc, but these spaces need a bit of TLC. A bar within the hotel would be nice too, as everything seemed to close quite early in this area.

Super location in San Francisco, convenient to everything along the water and within reach of many public transit options, convenience stores, and restaurants. The common facilities were so awesome, we loved the game room, s'mores over the camp fire, and outdoor games as well. We had a great view out over the water and of the ferris wheel, and the balcony made for a nice outdoor option in the evenings.

The beds are small double beds, we thought they would be queen-sized, so it was quite tight with 2 adults and 2 teens. It's a bit of an older property but it was a great deal and the great common areas plus location definitely made up for this.

The Hotel is in an amazing location in Fishermans Wharf, walking distance to everything you can need. We didn't use a car whilst staying in the city. It's a very touristy area, but when staying with a family with young children it's great to be in a place like this, as there are some dodgy neighbourhoods in San Francisco. Fishermans Wharf is flat, clean, safe and thriving. We had a balcony room with 'partial bay views' but the outlook was awesome. Whilst the rooms are reasonably basic, ours was clean, well serviced and no problems whatsoever. The courtyard and games room was a smash hit with the kids, as were the S'mores kits (provided by the hotel) at the multiple outdoor courtyard fireplaces.

Reception staff were a little cold during the check in process which is pretty disappointing, especially after such a long flight when you're tired and jet-lagged from Australia. Nothing to do with the hotel directly, but it's accessible via the Hotel courtyard; but the food and service at the The Socialite Bar & Kitchen was well terrible. Use it for a shortcut to get through the promenade and that's it. The hotel Zephyr booking.com account was also hacked multiple times by people sending phishing emails, which was a minor concern leading up to the stay. However, these were ignored and didn't effect us. But would have been nice if they got onto that & rectified earlier.

The hotel is in a great location—close to public transport, popular sights, and plenty of restaurants and cafés. It made getting around the city really easy and convenient. Great price/value considering the area and overall quality. The room was very clean, well-maintained, and quiet at night—perfect for resting after a full day of sightseeing. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in/check-out went smoothly. Overall, it’s a solid option for tourists looking for a clean, well-located, and comfortable base to explore the city. Would definitely stay again!

I stayed here for a few days during my visit to San Francisco and was pleased with my experience.

Funky vibe was very charming. Super great location. Cool courtyard with fire pits and games. Game room well-kept. Fun lobby with plenty of seating. Took a bit of a gamble with this one but it really paid off. Definitely a "hidden gem". Was for a business trip with 2 others. Way more fun than staying near the airport or something lame like that, and a LOT more affordable than other properties in this neighborhood. Attached bar was handy, and nice to have some beers around the "campfire". Starbucks on same block. What else does a business traveler need?

Parking was expensive!! $60+ per day! Overall not a deal-breaker if considering it split three ways for a group of rooms sharing one vehicle, but for a single guest it definitely needs to go into your math about the value of the property if you have a rental car.

The rooms were large and comfortable. The front desk staff were exceptional: they assigned us adjoining rooms without our asking for it, provided a microwave (not in the rooms when we got there) on request, and kept our ice packs in a freezer for us, along with being generally friendly and handling all our questions. Parking is on the second level immediately next door, accessed through a second floor door in the hotel, very convenient for loading and unloading a car (though costing an extra $64/day). This is in and out parking. Although it is an open air parking ramp, there is a security officer present. The hotel location is very good for exploring the embarcadero area.

Finding out after arriving that there is a $50/day/room security deposit.

Was excellent value for the price we paid. Location was great. We found our room to be clean and big. I’m sure there are hotels which are a bit plusher, but I would highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable value of money stay in a can’t be beaten location. How much time are you really going to spend in your room anyway?

Nothing for the price we paid

This place is great! The location is perfect. You're right in the action of Fishermans Wharf, and it's very easy to access other tourist spots from here also. The staff, including Anthony, were super helpful and very friendly. The room was great, and I loved the nautical theme throughout. The room was on the tad small size with a few small details starting to look a bit tired, but it was very clean, with modern amenities and a very comfortable bed! There is also a lot to do within the hotel, such as a pool table and outdoor firepits with a welcome night smores to top it all off!
