The location was perfect! Less than a 5 min walk to beach access, great eateries, and different shops including SPIRITS. About 30 min to the Fort Lauderdale airport and Port Everglades cruise terminal. The hotel provided beach chairs and towels and the courtyard and taco bar were great additions!

The shower has a cloth curtain that flung inwards or outwards with the shower on. It was impossible to keep the bathroom floor dry when the shower was in use. The room was a little dated and there was hair left in the sink and a water bottle left on the dresser. Those things were simple to fix since I travel with gloves and wipes and the low price of the room and location made up for the cons during my 2 night stay.

It was very close to the beach which was amazing for the price! They also give you towels and other beach accessories to borrow no charge! The room was clean and I was able to book another nights stay in the same room no problem.

The room was very stuffy but I assume that’s to be expected at a humid beach front location. The parking was $30 for 24 hrs which we didn’t really expect, but we should have just done more research before, since we missed that. One staff member seemed just a little bit rude but I don’t think it was intentional and staff was overall friendly.

I live here in South Florida. I work down the street on the beach. I wanted a little staycation for my birthday so I wasn’t driving or taking uber to every destination. This was the perfect spot for the weekend. It was right next to the beach in a good location. Parking was a bit expensive but luckily I have park at the place I work. The person I was with had to park overnight sometime and it was a pretty penny. Other than that, everything was amazing. The staff was super nice and helpful, anything I needed morning or night. They were always willing to help with really good advice. The hotel cat was probably the highlight of the trip. He has his own Instagram, definitely followed him after finding out. The room was small but perfect for 1-2 people. I loved that I stayed in one of the rooms upstairs in the lobby. It made me feel more relaxed. Also they give you a free complimentary margaritas at the restaurant It’s next to from 5pm to 6pm. I definitely will be back to stay again!

The parking was expensive. There should be discount parking for hotel guest. The bedsheets weren’t a fitted sheet, but a top sheet that they threw over and tucked under the bed.

Clean and pleasant (but very tiny) room on the beach block. Very walkable for visitors without a car. Surprisingly quiet given the loud bars on the nearby Boardwalk. Beach is gorgeous. Well run establishment with friendly staff.

A bit difficult to find by car and parking is expensive. Expect to be bombarded by email about filling out forms from the time you book until you check out, and whatever forms you fill out, you will have to do it again at the front desk on arrival! Some rough characters hang out (and sleep outside) in the area, but they are far outnumbered by families enjoying the beach in the day and early evening.

I loved that my room felt like a small apartment. I had two rooms to myself so one room was my dressing room and the other is where I slept. I loved how close I was to the beach as well. I really appreciated the free drink because it was an actual free drink and not some watered down joint in a small cup like some places do. I enjoyed the easy of checking in too.

I did not like that there was not a proper desk in my room to work but I made it work with the small table they had in living/dining/kitchen. I slid it into the room I slept in by the window and it was perfect!!

The staff was amazing. Everyone went out of their way to guide us and accommodate us with whatever we needed. Saw Lynne the most. She was exceptional. Loved the Beach vibe. Large room with 2 queen beds, bunk beds and a pullout couch. It also had a refrigerator and microwave. Dishes, silverware, coffee mugs and glasses. The location to the beach was perfect. The Taco bar restaurant was so good! Nice discount. Overall just a pleasant and great stay.

Better more secure hanging "closet" area. The pole came down a couple of times but we figured it out. Maybe a dresser added for clothes. A extra table or place to put stuff in the bathroom.

Such a cute and fun place with a lot of character!

No ice machine on property or coffee maker They do offer ice at the connected taco shop during their hours.

Great spot! Proximity to the beach… like 50 steps! Cleanliness was perfect! Free margaritas… but be sure to look for the real bartender Julio! 20% off all food for guests at the Taco Shack… food was very good. Cleaning staff was on their game!

The A/C is the old fashioned kind so be prepared with ear plugs if it bothers you. Also I recommend a short extension cord too… outlets were on the wall away from the bed.

No beach umbrellas and new beach chairs. I would pay extra for an umbrella or a shade. Not for the whole day

I come to Hollywood Beach a few times a year. This was my first time staying here, but it most definitely won't be my last. Lynne at the front desk was exceptionally kind and helpful. The rest of the staff (even management) was as well and that's rare. The room was also VERY impressive. A skylight in the shower and attach patio were great. You can't ask for a better place.

The ONLY thing I would change in i wished there was a little light on the patio to sit out at night.
