Location is perfect

The breakfast at the hotel was a bit of a letdown. For the price, I was expecting a lot more variety, but unfortunately, the selection was quite limited. One of the biggest disappointments was the lack of fresh fruit options. There were very few fruits available, which was a bit surprising given the hotel's price point. The protein options were also severely lacking, with very few choices to speak of. Overall, the breakfast spread felt a bit bare-bones, and I think the hotel could definitely improve in this area. Beautiful rooms, ease of access to food, ice machine, pool and ocean. Lots of elevator options and stair options to get down and up to where we need to go without waiting a ton. Across the street from a gas station and an icecream shop on the grounds. Everyone was very friendly too! Staff always greeted us and answered all the questions with a good attitude. The breakfast options were many, too! And tasted great. We went as a family of 5.

I wish the doors outside had the option to swing in and out- it was kind of a pain to use one hand to lift up on a lock and then use the other arm to swing the door toward you when your hands were full of beach things or a baby. Otherwise i loved everything.

We decided to cancel a reservation on Treasure Island with a privately owned motel and I am so glad we did. Let’s be honest, you never know what you’re going to get. My husband wanted to spend the extra money and go with a corporate chain and Marriott was the perfect choice! You can always expect quality and that’s what we got. Our suite was perfect for our family of 4 that likes space, and was squeaky clean. The view was outstanding with 2 balconies! Pool was clean and access to beach was perfect. Location was amazing and in the heart of it all. Will definitely stay here again!

It was nice, clean and friendly.

A little too high priced for the room but worst of all the hotel to the south was very noisy at night with obnoxious, loud and drunk people. It’s a location thing so it’s not like we blame Marriott for that. It’s a beware for future hotel guests. We’ve stayed here before and love it but we were facing the north side of the hotel.

Close to a wonderful white sand beach with clear, warm calm waters. We saw some great Fourth fireworks shows from the balcony, updated modern bathroom, lots of channels on TV and bed was comfortable.

Same choice for breakfast, no bread for toast, plastic plates & plastic silverware! Air conditioning was so noisy, couldn’t sleep didn’t fix it after 1st night, so couldn’t sleep again. Gave us 10,000 Marriott points, not even enough for one night. Front desk clerk named Chad was very unhelpful. Pool was very small and crowded. Coffee machine was outdated. Wine was sour at bar. Room was a bit dated except for the bathroom, but hardly any shelves or storage in there.

Loved the staff who were all professional and accommodating. Chad especially as well as the other staff members couldn’t do enough to help make our stay exceptional. Breakfast was plentiful from eggs to waffles etc. Chad and all staff gave us recommendations for activities and restaurants nearby. The free ride is an excellent transportation for the area which requires tips only. Great drivers who were also a fountain of info of the area. Loved this location on the beach and will be back!!!

The room was spacious with a large, comfy king-sized bed, refrigerator, microwave, dishes, flatware, iron, and a nice large sink in the kitchenette area.

We didn't like that our room was adjoining, but the door was double locked and had a large desk in front of the adjoining door.

The location on the beach is great. Our room was a 1 BR plus kitchenette which has everything needed. And a dishwasher too. Everything works, beds are nice, room is clean. There's always someone available if we needed anything. Breakfast is good and lots of it. Parking is always available but there's a daily charge for it.

The front desk staff was friendly, professional, & went out of their way to accommodate our request to extend our stay in the exact same rooms we had. The Manager, Erica, personally took care of our extended reservation. The rooms were spacious & super clean. The hotel staff was so nice & would always greet us when our paths crossed. The location on Treasure Island is an ideal beach area on the Gulf of Mexico. The hotel has a bar, work out facilities, & a laundry room. But what makes this an awesome stay is the hotel staff, from the cleaning staff all the way up to the Managers. I have stayed at more expensive hotels in Treasure Island, & none come close to the value & pleasurable experience of staying at the Marriott Residence Inn.

The elevators are slow, but it's a minor inconvenience.

Breakfast was great! Lots of choices. Front desk staff was outstanding. Location was the best! We are coming back in the fall. 5 stars!!

Only 2 things and not a big deal. The elevator was hard to catch. There was only one on the end and everyone was using it. I would suggest magnet signs to stick on the doors for service and pets. The signs kept falling off the door.
