The outside seating area was good, as was location. Good, free coffee available all day. The rooms have hard wood floors, and are clean. For a Portland hotel - and we've stayed in a lot of them at this point - this is one we'd consider going back to.
The room was very small though clean. I liked the pantry but it wasn't kept well stocked. On the Saturday we were told to ask for our car at 6am as 'every guest' was going to camp visiting day (as we were). When we got back around 5pm and taking a little break before going out for dinner, housekeeping knocked insistently over and over before we even had a chance to get to the door. We asked them not to bother, but wondered why, since they knew everyone would be gone all day, housekeeping didn't simply come earlier. Weird. The $35 daily charge and $45 parking fee were exorbitant and presumably how they come up as cheaper than other hotels.

This was a splurge for us as we normally would try to spend a little less for a two night stay. However, for what we paid we felt the room met the splurge expense. The room was clean upon arrival, we appreciated the size and spaciousness of the space. Appreciated that the bathroom was clean and tidy. And who doesn't love some jacuzzi-style tub soaking time! What a treat for extra relaxation. The location was convenient as we found ourselves enjoying the ability to walk about town and checkout things local without having to worry about finding parking amenities and paying even more for such expenses. We left feeling content about the stay and already wondering when and how we can return again in the future.

The dining staff were amazing. We had breakfast service on 4/13/25. The men and fine lady who took care of us were just the best. Thank you for being so polite and good at what you do.The chef has an amazing way in the kitchen. The food was excellent . To the valet that was on when we arrived on 4/12/25, thank you for helping me get my phone safely and for being so kind. You all are the reason we will stay again. I hope to see the staff again. Great hotel, the room was perfect for he group I was with. Clean and cozy and really does represent the area in the choice of decor.

Location was amazing, hotel is absolutely gorgeous. We stayed in an executive suite and it was worth every penny with a fireplace and large soaking tub. There is an onsite restaurant that had a great breakfast. Amenities were great as well.
When we checked in, my card had expired and the interaction for check-in was extremely awkward. We also were not told about how to get to our hotel room as it was in a private section so we wandered around until someone was kind enough to point us in the right direction. We were also not told about a hold on our room for an amenities fee and had to ask for it to be explained to us. These are all things that should have happened during our check-in process.

The Portland harbor hotel is extremely accommodating. Rooms are comfortable. Location is great! We love this place!
The armoire in our room blocked the door into the room which was tricky. You walked smack dab into a large piece of furniture upon entering. Also- we’ve stayed here one weekend in December for the last 5 years. The restaurant is extremely slow with breakfast service. It takes forever to get your meal….. and it’s breakfast. Shouldn’t be that painful.

Clean, room was spacious, view was nice. Nice bathtub and good water pressure. Big bed with comfortable chairs to lounge on. Great location with easy access to everything. Had a really nice lobby with sitting area and great fireplace to warm yourself up by.
Overall everything was great. I didn't like how the parking in the city was essentially a scam. Everything was so high priced and pretty much nowhere allowed you to park overnight without gouging you. The valet was reasonable when you compare it to the city prices but I prefer to park my own car if I can.

The hotel is in a terrific location if you want to walk around at night and enjoy a dinner out and possible another drink. We had breakfast in the restaurant below and my husband said it was the best eggs benedict he has had in a long time. The room is very comfortable and we enjoyed having one of the interior rooms over looking the garden plaza. It was quiet and we both slept well.
The bottom of the shower needed a bush in the seem of the granite. I was surprised at the size of the garden view rooms. I had trouble finding a space to stretch in the morning. They rooms have a nice sized bathroom with shower and tub (separate), an armoire, two comfortable arm chairs, and a king sized bed. The rooms are long and narrow. They are a tad small for the price.

The hotel was beautiful and a perfect location to Old Port. There was so many pretty details in the decorations and having the valet made parking so easy! I also loved the pantry area with snacks and coffee! It was an amazing amenity. It was nice after a long day to grab a hot tea and cookie!
There was not an exhaust fan in our bathroom. Not a big deal but thought it was weird.

The room was clean. I loved that I could open the window to get air in. I loved that they had a snack place for each floor where they had some snacks and tea/coffee at all time. the location is great. Bed was very comfortable.
Parking cost 45$/day. it's too much. The charging points next to the bed weren't working on our first night, I didn't notice and only found out the next morning, while out that I don't have a battery. They did fixed them the next day but the charging was very slow, so I had to charge my phone in the bathroom at night. so just check these things if it's important to you.

I loved the extra amenities from the Pantry on our floor. It was so nice to grab a coffee and Danish early in the morning before heading out. Upon our return, we knew there would be ice and water waiting to take back to our room. My husband enjoyed the sleepy time tea. Also, the staff texted often to make sure we didn't need anything.
There were stains on the curtains that created a negative impression from our daughter.
