The location downtown close to the theatre and cinema, and to some good restaurants and some shops on the main streets. the rooms large and very nice, the Hotel architecture and decoration amazing one of a kind, the cocktails at the bar: a bit expensive but so delicious. I didn't eat at the restaurant.

the staff was very nice, smiling, and very kind. very helpful in all what is related to the hotel questions and need. but I would have appreciated a better advise or help form the staff, more specifically concierge services on what I can do in the area and some help in booking the theatre or some activities. I had the feeling that they didn't know the area very good and I needed to manage myself in regards to these aspects. it was maybe related to a new hiring or a trainee, I didn't insisted..

Well, to start it is a very cool environment. The art and the decor and the rooms are all exceptional. The staff is awesome and very helpful. They are quite honestly dog friendly- and they mean it. The rooms are huge and they are so unique. I just love staying there. The only downside is the city of Pittsfield; it has issues that every city has, but maybe a bit more visible. It is a small city and has a lot of folks on the streets just hanging out. There are a fair number of empty retail spaces. Hoping it is rejuvenated at some point.

I would have liked bed the restaurant to be up and running!

It's our 5th stay at the hotel and we have always loved it. Rooms are comfortable and clean, decor is funky, bathrooms are luxurious. The new Rare restaurant was great- even for us vegetarians.

The room was musty; the decor could use some updates and on our way out it would have been nice if the young woman at the desk could have asked us how our stay was or at least thanked us for our business. For the amount we paid, that would be expected.

It was beautifully designed, with interesting artifacts and artwork and large, bright, comfortable room and bathroom. The whole hotel was creatively designed with the old floors and details left. It was comfortable to hang out in, with lots of sitting areas, even a lovely big skylit area on the second floor outside our room. Pittsfield was an interesting urban town, different from nearby areas like Lenox. We had a fabulous breakfast at Dottie’s nearby.

We were surprised at how much we liked it.

A very nice and stylish hotel. My room was very big and comfortable with a rest/couch area and sleeping/bed area. Big and nice bathroom. There is a bar available on the ground floor. Tea/coffee available 24/7. Private parking behind the hotel for additional fee. No breakfasts in the hotel. You need to go across the street to get breakfast

Creaking floor. I had impression someone was walking in my room, even though the sound was coming from upper floor or next room

The property was great and close to everything!

The air conditioner seemed to not work, however, once I called the front desk they called maintenance who apparently needed to turn it on in that area of the hotel. Once they did that I could control it in my room. Unfortunately, it was a daily call to the front desk to do this. I stayed during the summer at a time where they were not at full capacity so that may have been why. Giving them another try as the location is really great!

Very nice Hotel with spacious, comfortable and very clean rooms. Comfortable beds. We liked the Coffee maker in each room. Also, the hotel has a very nice Selection of books in the rooms and in the communal places! It also offers free parking. The staff was super nice and very helpful

The Hotel is situated on North Street, and while the Hotel itself is very well kept, the properties in the neighborhood seemed to be a bit run down/ empty.

The staff was so helpful. The room was huge and comfortable and lovely. The restaurant bar downstairs was great. The bath towels were huge and fluffy. The room had a coffee maker. There were several common spaces for hanging out. The bed was very comfortable.

They don't serve breakfast and the closest breakfast place is several blocks away. It would be nice to not have to walk through downtown for a bite to eat.

We love the location and the hotel... the rooms, decor, excellent coffee in room, nice shower... all great!

The only real inconvenience is their not having a restaurant, or at least breakfast. The restaurant in the hotel is a different company and not very good; we had dinner there once. Currently it's open very limited hours, only early dinner on certain nights. We heard that the restaurant had changed ownership recently, which is a hopeful sign! In the meantime, hotel could have a few breakfast items (like donuts or muffins) to go with its excellent complimentary coffee and tea. The prices are high, could offer some better rates/promotions, at least in the off-season.

Beautiful, comfortable boutique hotel, with very service oriented and friendly staff. Especially Cameron! Our room was very elegant, spacious and comfy. The Restaurant on site was excellent. Also the location is perfect, downtown Pittsfield.

We loved everything about it.
