This whole property is such a vibe. I absolutely love the location and the rooms are so comfortable and relaxing. The staff is also very friendly. I have stayed here before but experienced the bar for the first time on this trip. The bartenders were super friendly and service was fast so we had a great trip all around!

Parking sucks but that’s literally no fault of the hotel. It’s just downtown KC. If you don’t plan to use valet, you may have to walk a little bit to get to the hotel.

We really like the buildings design and its uniqueness. Would love to see this place in the summer months. Defintely recommend this hotel. Lively night life and friendly staff.

There was a piece of artwork in the room, with a blonde ponytail cut off and placed with an empty bowl and fish. It was strange and a little off putting, as we were both blonde women travelling. Lol.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The lobby and restaurants were lively and fun. In contrast, our room was tucked away in a quiet corner. The room was spacious and well appointed. The staff as well as fellow guests seemed to welcome our dogs. We ate at the hotel’s popular restaurant, Lazio, which was excellent.

There was not any grassy area that we could find too walk the dogs in the neighborhood.

This is a charming, very comfortable hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The history-chic amosphere is very well done, and I simply loved the feel of the old doors and brick walls.

I was disappointed that the rooftop was closed, despite the weather being lovely. It would have been an excellent place to sit with a glass of wine. Even if the rooftop bar was closed, just being able to have access to an outdoor sitting space would have been nice.

Such an impressive hotel in every way. The decor, food and the, quite frankly wonderful, staff really made our stay memorable.

Room housekeeping was non-existent during our stay which was surprising. We stayed 3 nights and room was untouched for the duration. I would have at least expected beds to be made for the price and standard of hotel.

I had a younger brother's wedding, so it was good to make good memories with my family at the hotel where I stayed. The staff was kind, the room was perfect, and I enjoyed the brunch. I make happy memories.

It was the weekend, so there was some noise because of the people using the rooftop, but everything else was impeccably good

Swanky rooms. Good ceiling height and designs. Big shower and good furniture. I.e., sofa a foot of bed.

Front desk sits in front of elevators to rooms. Nothing else is in the lobby besides the front desk clerks and elevators. Thus lay out requires constant interaction w front desk l as they are trying to be say hi to you. Also they tend to hound "guests" that come to "visit". If they want to insure no un-escorted guests come in they need to secure the elevator w room key access only, not question your guests as to their business. Annoying...

The location was a walkable distance from our concert venue, the Italian restaurant Lazia as well as the room service breakfast were delicious, the room and hotel areas were nicely decorated and designed, and the staff was very lovely and accommodating!

The only thing I didn't like was that there wasn't a pool, but there were plenty of other things to enjoy during our stay!

We enjoyed the lively downstairs and appreciated how much the original building was used for the hotel. My sons and I were in town for a Royals game and we all enjoyed our stay.

It was a bit difficult to get to the hotel because of construction and signage wasn't obvious.

Loved the building, entertainment was good and bar staff friendly. Roof top bar is fantastic but closed for the winter too soon.

Breakfast options could have been better with less expensive and faster prepared meals available
