All of your staff are just lovely people. They made us feel very welcome and it was just really nice to have someone be nice to me. I love the unique decor and layout! The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable. I love the room service options. I love that the hotel is a part of the crown center and the connected skywalk to union station. It was perfect for our stay because my daughter had a gymnastics competition at union station.

My only issue wasn’t with the property itself but a housekeeping miss. There were 3 used wash rags hanging off of the shower curtain rod. Otherwise, everything else was nice.

The Kansas City Westin exceeded all of my expectations and was an absolute joy to stay at! Every single employee I encountered was not only professional but genuinely kind, making the entire experience truly memorable. We visited for the Hallmark Christmas Experience and had the chance to explore more of the city, thanks to fantastic recommendations from Jeff (who graciously held our luggage when we arrived way too early) and the gentleman who helped take our bags to our room upon check-in. The hotel room was impeccably clean, and the spacious lobby was a beautiful and inviting space, with employees constantly ensuring everything was tidy and welcoming. The attention to detail and level of care at this hotel were outstanding. If I ever return to Kansas City, there’s no question—I’ll absolutely stay at the Westin again!

The elevator wait time was long, but to be expected as the hotel was 100% booked.

Location was great as it was next to the festival and mall. The staff were very friendly and super helpful. My daughter had a sore throat and the bar staff helped me find lemons and honey to make her drink.

It was super dated for the cost of the rooms. I felt the rooms are comparable to Holiday Inn (which is much less). Breakfast delivery to our room cost $80 for avocado toast, two parfaits and burnt pancakes. We did it for the connivence as we had a dance competition and the Starbucks gets super crazy, but they were delivered in a paper bag. I would recommend waiting at Starbucks as it is way cheaper and similar food.

Friendly courteous employees. We had pleasant experiences with the front desk, all our questions were answered. The parking valets were above our expectations. The gentleman who helped by bringing a luggage cart, loading it, and taking it downstairs for was very nice and helpful. The location at the Crown Plaza was great. Had a variety of restaurants without going back out after a full day of traveling and driving to our destinations. Spending our two evenings enjoying sitting at the plaza and enjoying the fountains.

The weird directions for the thermostat! The room phone which didn’t work. Lastly the lack of high water pressure in the shower.

This hotel is in prime location to the WW1 Museum, Union Station, Legoland and shops. You can walk to all. The covered walking overpasses are super handy! The room was a decent size and neat and tidy. Self parking for $25 per 24 hours was reasonable for location. Breakfast was nice and the service was good.

The lack of information given in relation to amenities upon check-in was a tad annoying as it forced us to continually ask directions or clarify information when needed. The hotel was nice, but we felt we were definitely paying for location and not the quality of the hotel. Breakfast was held in a little restaurant, in the foyer area, it was a tiny little room that you had to wait for free tables to be seated, as it wasn't too busy at the time we visited our wait time was minimal, maybe 5-10 minutes but I could see that being an extensive wait in peak times which seems silly for a hotel that size.

The pool area and workout facilities were immaculate. These areas are always the true testament of "clean" and I was impressed. The rooms were clean and smelled clean. Front desk staff and valet staff were great. Not a single complaint.

While I couldn't hear any 'neighbor noises' in the room, I could hear everything in the hallway. It didn't bother me except that I don't like the idea of others hearing me and my conversations from the hall. But that's super minor. I'm digging for some constructive feedback. As stated, I was pleased with my stay.

Service was great and you can see that people really put their 100 percent into what they do from the front desk to the support services available. A pleasant place to congregate have a meal and some laughs with those you travel with in conferences like the ASCA held this year in Kansas City.

I didn't like the fact that I have to leave so soon given the great hospitality and the safe and friendly environment Westin has built over the years. I look forward to another time to visit Westin with my family.

The location was amazing and the view was absolutely epic! We loved that we could park in the garage and not worry about driving anywhere else the rest of our staycation. Love that they have a heated pool and hot tub but the pool didn't seem all that warm. Still, we landed in the hot tub and it was perfect.

Breakfast was not included, but the restaurants there were very good. The location across from train station was convenient. We had a wonderful bed and the room was very nice and clean. The staff was amazing. they gave us an extended stay for free and when we did check out, the concierge held on to our bags so we could site see easily before our train took us to St. Louis

It would have been nice to have a microwave in our room for our left overs.

That Booking totally screwed up my reservation when they transferred it over to Westin. Misspelled names led to confusion on the part of Westin staff which took 30 minutes on the phone to supposedly clear up, yet when I arrived it was still not corrected. In the end it was straightened out but when I got home I found I was charged with 2 more parking charges than I used. I'll have to call Westin to try to figure out the issue on Monday. Always go straight to the hotel website from now on. Third party didn't save us money, only added confusion...
