Location was great, there is a pool, and has a good breakfast included!

Hallways and elevator were not air conditioned and HOT! Took stairs from 8th floor when elevator was taking more than 5 mins to go down to breakfast and looked/smelled like people had slept in stairwell (blankets, clothing, garbage in stairwell). We also are not fans of the glass barn doors on bathroom with our 3 boys. The barn door was also difficult to latch so it wouldn’t slide open when using the bathroom, so not as much privacy that way, either. Light from bathroom also interrupted sleep of others since lit up room through glass door when in use. Sign in pool said first rule to shower in NuDE before entering pool and the showers were out in public???? What in the world?!?

The staff at Hyatt Place Omaha/Downtown-Old Market were absolutely fantastic—they went above and beyond to make sure I was enjoying my stay. My room was more spacious than I expected, and the hotel’s prime location made it easy to reach restaurants, shops, and entertainment. Plus, picking up Uber Eats or DoorDash orders was a breeze.

Unfortunately, some facilities appeared to be experiencing water issues—specifically, the lobby restroom didn’t have running water during my visit. It was a small hiccup, but it did cause inconvenience. Other than that, the overall experience was highly positive.

The location was great! We never had to drive anywhere. We were able to walk to everything we needed including entertainment (axe throwing), restaurants, bars, and clubs. I appreciated the safety measures the hotel took to keep guests safe. The parking garage was free and easy to access which was really nice.

One of the front desk employees was rude to us but the rest were extremely friendly. For a room that sleeps five I wish there would have been a larger fridge and a much larger trashcan. The melon that was served for breakfast tasted spoiled and sour. Everyone in our party who ate it got sick later that day. The rest of breakfast was great. There were maps of the area that showed different restaurants and things. It was several years outdated. But this is me nick-picking. We had a great time over all!

The safety. You have to use your key card to get into the building and in the elevator to get to get access to your floor. The parking garage was a huge money saver, and it was worth the $25 a day additional price. The place was clean and the staff was really helpful and friendly. They gave great recommendations for places to eat and go to that were close to the hotel. They even let us check in early, which was amazing!

Our lights did flicker a lot so we mainly used the lights by the bed and in a the bathroom, there was a crack in the bathroom sink, the bathroom sink was plugged when we got there, and the shower head wasn't super great. It sprayed higher up so if your are shorter (5'3 and under), it might be a bit harder to rinse off. The breakfast was a bit of a letdown as well.

Great locale in the middle of Old Market district. Lots of good dining and brewery in walkable distance.

Breakfast was underwhelming. Eggs were obviously powdered and poorly prepared. Limited hot options. Would consider more of continental breakfast. Ran out of plates for 1/2 hour during Sunday breakfast. Can’t eat eggs on a napkin. Recommend having paper plates as a backup! Sink was cracked in bathroom and faucet leaked everywhere.

The location was great, we had a TON of dinner options, and if we had been staying longer it looked like the downtown had a lot of things to see and do. Room was extremely clean and comfortable. Loved that we could have three beds as it lets the family spread out. Pool was great and had kid-friendly hours - they like to get the swim in early! Onsite parking was easy with the elevator going directly to the parking garage.

Nothing comes to mind, great stay!

Free daily breakfast was nice and there was enough items to not get too bored of it after a few days. The location is outstanding. It's within a couple blocks of a whole host of great restaurants, bars, ice cream shop, taverns, pubs and a great cigar bar. Onsite parking structure is really nice to have although its an extra daily charge.

A little more variation in breakfast but that's not a big thing.

The staff was wonderful! They made sure everything was taken care of and when we had a concern about safety in the parking garage, the staff went immediately to check it out!

Our TV did not work consistently but we weren't there long enough to really have to worry about that. There is a $15 charge for using the parking garage. It is secure and makes easy access to the hotel, but just to be aware of the charge ahead of time. It is much more reasonable than the on street meters or parking lots.

The room was beautiful and I loved the view of the city from our window! The room was spacious enough for our needs. There was plenty of storage and I liked the full size toiletries in the bathroom.

The continental breakfast was good, but we wished it had more items like donuts or muffins. The pillows felt a bit lumpy on the beds.

Location was great to walk around and enjoy the days/evenings. So many restaraunts to select from around hotel within walking distance. interesting, unique shops close by.

There were some homeless people sleeping on the streets and some people walking around that panhandling - both were noticed by 9yo daughter and a little off-putting. Several cobble streets around - don't wear high heels.
