The place was beautiful!! Well-kept and peaceful, right next to a flowing stream and at the edge of a forest. Around the cabins, there were small lovely gardens. The cabin itself was a good, comfortable size and you could really see the thought put into the design. Not everything was very practical, but that didn’t bother me.

Communication with the host was lacking. Her responses to our questions were so delayed that by the time we heard back, they were no longer relevant. For example, on the day we were checking out, there was no hot water, so we couldn’t shower. We didn’t receive any solution—and not an apology....

I loved the location. The surrounding environment, nature paths, and situation to the black diamond trail and Taughannock Falls were ideal. The cottages were charming; inspired with stained glass and friendly gnomes. I wouldn't have been surprised to have caught a glimpse of the Seven Dwarfs. I also appreciated the community cottage with it's round fireplace and board games. Everything about it was so welcoming. It was a rejuvenating stay.

I was perfectly content. One thing that surprised me was the amount of light that came into the room from the outside light after we turn out the interior light for bed. I was fine with it, but I could see it being too much for a fussier sleeper. We were in the Upper Bunk.

1) No hot water kettle in room 2) Only paper plates/cups and plastic utensils available 3) We weren't sure if tap water is potable and there wasn't a hot water kettle to boil water, so we chose to buy bottled water for consumption 4) No staff on premise. Communication can only be done through leaving phone messages. There was no direct phone contact for urgent queries Despite the above which caught us by surprise, we managed and enjoyed our stay. Will consider returning again.

The property was gorgeous and had so many lovely touches, like the fire pit, s’mores makings, and garden games. The cabin was clean and spacious.

There was what sounded like a sump pump going day and night, so we put on our noise machine, which felt like a weird thing to have to do in the country. Also, we couldn’t get the TV to work. Someone had signed into their Amazon account and we couldn’t access anything. That was fine, because we just enjoyed the property anyway!

Beautiful countryside location. Had a few fire pits to enjoy and a games room, bbqs to share. Wonderful Japanese style toilet (very posh)

Our front door to our unit had a glass front which let in the light from the parking lot until late in the evening. There was also a window that had stained glass that let light into the room as well so morning we had light coming in from that window and the front door. Prevented us from sleeping in.

We liked the feel and aesthetic of the room, the closeness to our morning destination, and the ease of check in-check out. The host was also very responsive to any questions.

We arrived to an unplugged refrigerator, so our food had to stay out for a few hours while the fridge cooled. There is also a wonderful stained glass door in the entrance, however, the parking lot streetlamp shines directly through the door and onto the bed, which made sleeping a challenge.

absolutely loved the property. There was a little bit of carelessness by the people staying there of leaving out of records and things not being put back in their place but that is not the fault of the property necessarily. It may be useful to have someone go in and tidy up at the end of each evening to make sure that all the cute and charming things stay in good condition. May be our sign to remind people staying at the property to put away each item after using it. I loved going on walks on the property in the morning and seeing all the robins throughout the day. I definitely would love to come back. Definitely want the bathtub next time.

it was challenging to communicate with the property owner prior to my arrival, but she was very kind once we connected.

peaceful and beautiful grounds, wildlife, good accommodation, a nice common area with a couple of guitars, a piano and a record player (+ vinyl) and finally, a life changing bidet

having to look at a not so pretty marquee that was between functions. A stretch tent would work much better with the asthetic. it would have been nice to have seen a member of staff at some point.

unique cottages in an idyllic setting, yet close to the local universities it would be a lovely spot to host a reunion or other event - we really appreciated the craftsmanship in the mosaic work, stained glass, and exterior woodwork of our cottage, the balloon room.

the cottage kitchen has flimsy plastic wine glasses and disposable plates and utensils - likely this helps make turnover faster, but it was just a little incongruent with the rest of the setting and detracted from the ambiance - at a minimum, there is higher quality unbreakable glassware that would be a better fit

Location, nature, fascilities to eat at the room Suprised to have a Japanese toilet in the bathroom.

During the night there is light from the parking place shining through the glass door into the room. A curtain or something to block the light for would be a good idea! Some things were a bit worn off/broken/didn't work properly (fly screen, breakfast table on the terrace) Nothing huge, but could have a look at it. We never saw any staff but we liked to information map with all kinds of tips.
