Very friendly staff. Extremely comfy beds and a good location

Our room was beside some sort of "electrical " room which hummed all the time. This is a "historic" hotel but , in reality, it is looking rather tired. We stayed over a weekend so, understandably, the street late at night was noisy.

Classy. Top shelf service. The best part about the visit were the kind, genuine staff members, and because of them, I will be back. Thank you for your hospitality and making me feel at home!

Had a tough time finding the right block to catch the valet lane, I will own 50% of this due to my driving record.

Great location and lovely staff. We were there for a short stay however, the experience made us feel like we had been there for a week. Everyone was friendly and helpful. They truly made us feel welcomed.

TV was a little small. Other than that, nothing.

It was what I expected the place to be: Very quaint, a slice of the past, southern comfort, and plenty of history. Steeped in history the decor was lovely; old but still in fantastic condition. Room was expected, in good condition, very clean, and had everything needed for modern conveniences. Breakfast was to the point, nothing fancy, but great food.

I can't think of anything I didn't like, or was anything out of the ordinary or surprising. Everything was expected, either from the pictures and descriptions, or peoples' reviews, I can't say I "didn't like" anything.

I booked our room for 4 people but there was only 1 hand towel and 1 bath towel when we arrived. We called the front desk to ask for more towels and they said they would bring them right up. An hour later we called again and received the same response but the person seemed annoyed. We NEVER received towels. I was grateful the room had bathrobes so we at least had something to dry off with

Everything at the Dunhill was just right ! Little chocolates on our pillows ! Great shower and beds so comfy . Hotel was very quiet.

Nothing not to like

Breakfast was very good. Location is perfect, right uptown. Rooms were nice.

One of the two rooms I booked was for three guests (queen bed + sofa). We had to make the sofa bed (not sure this is standard practice in a boutique hotel). The heating systems in both rooms was loud and did not allow us to sleep well, we should have turned it off but it would have been too cold.

Location was wonderful. Staff was very friendly.

Bed was uncomfortable. Restaurant menu has no selection for average person who likes good old fashioned American food. Price of room is higher than I'd like.

I really enjoyed the fact that we could do a late check out and that we had the bathrobes in the room. Beds were comfortable and staff was very friendly. Right in the heart of downtown.

The pictures make the room look bigger than it is. Probably the smallest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. I didn’t like that we didn’t get our complimentary snacks in the room as mentioned in the description. It’s very misleading. I’m assuming it’s because of Covid but snacks can be put in a bag so that’s no excuse. Also, parking is $25 not $23.
