The Ivey Suite was amazing. Very clean, very comfortable, and highly recommended to stay.

Only bad experience was a not so friendly guy by the name of Rick who shouldn't be working in hospitality. Witness multiple people having issues with this guy. His personality is horrible and doesn't know how to speak to people. He should take notes from the 2 ladies working in the other desk. They were friendly and welcoming to our concerns regarding checking into our rooms. Hopefully our next visit will be a much better experience.

I had just checked in with my wife when we received a call from her cardiologist telling us that her heart monitor had registered a cardiac event and we had to return immediately to the hospital in Asheville. Never even got a chance to use the bathroom.

It would have been better if someone reached out to me either from the Ivey's Hotel or booking .com with an offer of some break on the $361 plus tax charge for the room. Bad business, I assure you.

The location was perfect! Right across from the theater where we saw Hamilton. The room was stunning, so clean and the finishing were high end. This is truly a luxury hotel that hits all the right marks.

I wish we had know that there was only valet parking. 50.00 per day is a little steep.

This was the true example of a 5 star hotel. Mid range of the places I was looking. Far exceeded my expectations. Great chic, decor. The stopped clocks seemed to be a theme throughout. Front dest, valet and room service were wonderful. The mini bar priced out well below comparable hotels. We enjoyed. Easy check-in and out. Valet always had my car read right away. Look forward to my next stay.

The lounge staff was very snooty in spite of what we paid for our room. We appeared to be below her class. If she only knew. Needless to say, we enjoyed eating and drinking all around Charlotte.

First off the staff were exceptional. They made us feel so special and even had a treat prepared for my daughter pre-celebratory 13th birthday! The linens were so soft and the fragrance throughout the entire property was heavenly,

The tv was my least favorite. Not easy to use and no options.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The location across the street from the theatre couldn’t be beat; I would go again and recommend it particularly if someone were staying in town for a performance there. The room was comfortable and well equipped with amenities.

It was kind of pricey. The charges for the mini bar weren’t clear; either I was charged for something I didn’t get or there was a hefty surcharge for using it. My inquiry wasn’t answered. The elevator is very slow and it might be a problem for those unable to navigate the stairs.

This boutique hotel is truly exceptional! The decor was STUNNING! So comfortable I slept in and I haven't slept that late in years. I would love to stay here again. Having the Nespresso machine in my room was fabulous.

The location makes valet parking a little difficult but the valet guys are excellent. I didn't like that one light switch controlled all the lighting in the room.

it was secluded & private

we paid $3,000 plus for 5 days but the next day the rooms went back down to regular price, we also got a suite for the 5 days our bedding wasyclean although the management corrected the situation the cleaning staff brought new bedding and asked me would I like to pull the sheets off my bed & make it myself I was alittle shocked, we kept tipping the Valet the same guy left us hanging even though we tipped him big & tipped him big the day we left was alittle disappointed in that since it was our 35th Anniversary I really wanted it to be special we never complained we just excepted what we were given since we're Christian. We were also on ground floor so we were next to Sophie Louge it was extremely loud because of music late at night.

Food and Drinks were fantastic. Room service was fast. Great location, but the hotel provides everything you would need to have a nice evening if you didn't feel like leaving.

parking and valet are difficult to use. So many cars park on Tryon and it is already a busy street. We had to park in a parking deck next door and walk over. Staff credited the parking costs off our bill though.

All went well from valet parking, check in/check out process, quality of room, breakfast, bar , health club, overall atmosphere and ambiance of the hotel, central location, quality of staff and cleanliness of facility. We will definitely return for a second visit.
