Bed was super comfortable. Had microwave and mini fridge. Room Had plenty of towels.room was very clean. Front desk clerk was very polite and friendly. Enjoyed the complimentry breakfast eggs sausage.

Did not like that you have to leave a 60dollar cash deposit before being issued your key to your room.that money is separate from the cost of your room. Did not like the rude male serving us breakfast. Did not acknowledge us upon being in front of him waiting to be served breakfast. Was scratching his ears while using gloves that he used to serve us our breakfast.asked for waffles was told no. He said they had a set menu for each day. Don't understand how hard it would be to make waffle mix.they should have it at every breakfast.

It's not the fanciest hotel but it was a good value. Breakfast is included, it was well made and pretty yummy. They have a gym and a pool which I did not end up using but the option is nice. If it were closer to where I was meaning to be then I would totally stay here again.

My only issue with my room was my toilet seat wasn't fully secured. On a personal level that was my fault and not the hotel, it was a little far from where I was trying to be but as I said this was a personal error. Also I don't know if this is a hotel issue or a Texas in general issue it was feeling like a lot of my blankets and clothes were damp.

The room was comfortable, great beds, small bathroom area, downside to room is one of the bedspreads had a black mark (white bedding) that failed to get cleaned thoroughly. Freezer of fridge unit in room had spilled iliquid that should have been cleaned out too. Breakfast was OK, biscuits, (no gravy) & scrabble eggs. hot cereal, milk, oj & apple juice. But had only allowed single server to plate the food. No pepper available to season eggs. Waffle maker available, but only offered for weekend reservations?? We also had late arrival noted, but nobody at front desk area for over 20 minutes. Even called main number hoping they had a phone with them. Price was great though based on what we got..

Front desk should have a bell or camera to alert staff for late arrivals check-in to be addressed. Could better stock standard supplies for breakfast (white bread sole option given).

This is a very nice hotel that is past its peak. They appear to be working hard to upgrade and remodel to regain its glory. The staff was wonderful. They got us just the right room and were very helpful with arranging our sightseeing plans. This was also one of the very few hotels that gave us enough towels for our party without having to ask for more. The room was nice and had a beautiful view over the town. Although it was evident that upgrade work was happening, it was not part of the guest experience. Very good job there. We enjoyed their outdoor pool, but the fitness center was disappointing. Breakfast was different than what we have seen in other hotels. It was generally a buffet style, but the main offering was different each morning and was served to you. No need to serve yourself. Additional sides were available such as various cereals, fruit, juice, milk, yogurt, breads, coffee and tea. There were a few restaurants in walking distance, and it did not feel unsafe to do so. Plenty of other options were a short drive away on the other side of the highway.

Fitness equipment in the fitness center needed repair. The area around the hotel is a bit blighted. Kind of odd that just the other side of the highway was quite vibrant.

The best things I liked about the property was that they actually had somebody there making breakfast in the morning, all those ladies work hard for making everyone a breakfast in the morning, they do an excellent job and I appreciate that.

The thermostat on the heater in the room was not working very well so I had to get up and turn the heater on and off manually thru my stay. It was 28° outside when I stayed there so maybe that had something to do with it.

Best place I've ever stayed for the money I paid for! Very reasonably priced, clean, not a loud place(got to sleep), excellent king size bed, and a hot breakfast that I was allowed to take on the road with me!

Everything was acceptably great but the variety for the hot breakfast was limited very limited( no meat items such as bacon, sausage, or ham). They only had toast, scrambled egg, and very good tasting diced potatoes.

I love the friendliness first of all. I love the outside it's very clean. The inside lobby is clean and it has an area to eat and a TV with a fireplace going. I loved the environment. Very inviting and felt like home. I was very happy with the rooms. Very clean, and so comfy. Loved the beds and pillows. I love the pics and murals on the wall by the elevators. My breakfast was delicious. Very satisfied with my stay and super exceeded expectations. I will return.

I didn't like that I had to come back after 9am for my deposit, being that I had work.

Great rooms ,the breakfast staff was awesome, the bed,the shower, and pillows..

The front desk persons during the afternoon when I checked in around 2pm .,the lady was so RUDE a lady with black hair and a bad attitude.....the other lady with light brown hair was rude as well.. but not as RUDE as the one with black hair ...I can't believe such a great place to stay 2 people with attitudes ruin the stay...SMH..

We were in town to take our 2 boys to Six Flags and were looking for something cheap that wasn’t a motel. Upon arrival Sam did a great job with checking us in and providing all the useful information we would need for a pleasant stay. Housekeeping was friendly and solved our one issue immediately. Breakfast was tasty and consisted of French toast, eggs and sausage. They also had cereal available. We overslept our second night so I don’t know if the same thing was served the next day.Pool was decent and our boys enjoyed themselves on the day we got there. As I mentioned before we overslept the second night due to being so tired from spending the day at Six Flags and the super comfy beds. Nice artwork in the lobby and by the elevators were cute for photos. Overall this property served its purpose and I would stay there again whenever we come back to Six Flags.

AC was very loud but it did not interrupt our sleeping. Tub had visible dirt. The privacy door latch in our room did not work. TV had a thin line on it.Furniture was on the older side.

It was A good price for everything available. Had A home feel to it for breakfast which i thought was nice. Need more good options but still great for the price. I spent $5 less at another place and it was so much worse that i will definitely recommend this hotel to others.

The tv was broken. And I wish there was more lights. My room was dark but those are easy fixes.
