Beautiful views. There are only four rooms that are above the restaurant. The food there is awesome. The room was big and comfortable. The bathroom is a good size as well. There was a sofa and a comfy chair with a large ottoman. Nice dinette set. The kitchenette is sufficient with a microwave and coffee bar. Coffee, sugar and creamer along with silverware, dishes and a cold refrigerator and paper towels. Loved the layout and the balcony. It was a quiet stay.

No ice machine but you can go to the restaurant with the supplied ice bucket.

The view of Grey's Creek was the most beautiful vista and we could not stop taking pictures of it. This alone was worth the price. These were little apartments not hotel rooms, spacious and super comfortable. These rooms could charge a lot more and still be worth every penny. Lunch and dinner is downstairs (thou we did not eat here because we were adventuring the area). It was around the corner from the free ferry to Jamestown and the historic triangle.

We didn't like the fact that we had to leave. Warning, the water pipes make a banging noice when the restaurant is cleaning up for the night, typical but startling the first time you encounter it but you get used to it, a warning from the staff would help. Sadly these rooms are not accessible to handicapped citizens. We should have booked all four nights here instead of two in Williamsburg and two here, did not understand how close the ferry was to the triangle. Minutes, not hours.

Really nice and quiet place. Perfect for our weekends gate away. The rooms are clean and comfy. Each of them has a small terrace that looks like to the water. So beautiful!!! The restaurant is really good. A bit overpriced but normal for a seafood place. Everything was delicious and the cocktails were so good. The only thing that annoyed me was how long we had to wait for two glasses of water and ask 3 times for it. Our server had to pay better attention on her tables. I’m also a server and I can’t let myself forget something like that. Water might be free and doesn’t add to the bill but definitely was something that annoyed me and cut from her tip. Other than that everything was perfect! We’ll come back again for some quick rest.

The server forgot about our water for over 20 minutes and had to ask for it 3 times even the food runner once but no one gave a sh*t about it.

This was a terrific find a half mile from the ferry to Jamestown. It is a fishing/boating area. The hotel/restaurant has docks where a good number of fishing and recreational boats are docked. We had lunch and dinner at the restaurant. Both were fresh seafood that was very nicely prepared. In the afternoon we took free ferry to Jamestown and afterward returned to the hotel. Very nice location.

The bed was a little creeky.

We visit once a year and spend the night after biking from Richmond, VA on the Capital Trail. After stopping at Billsburg we hit the ferry across the James. The Restaurant and hotel are perfect for our short stay. We will be coming back for years to come.

This place is wonderful!

Well, we didn't see a single person except a blond housekeeper the entire time we were there. No one was at registration at night when we checked in and no one was there in the morning when we checked out. There are no handicapped rooms here. Everything is up a large set of steps.

Beautiful location with great view of the creek. Enjoyed a great dinner with the hubby on site and went kayaking the next day.

Parking when we arrived was hard. We had to circle the lot a couple times for someone to leave. There are no dedicated spots for the Inn.

Good location near, but not at, Williamsburg VA. Somewhat remote, but that is what I wanted. Very quiet at night. Nice balcony for moonlight watching. Parking was at the base of outside-staircase to rooms. Main entrance to hallway on second floor where the rooms are located requires keycard, so no extra people wondering halls. Air conditioning sufficient size for cooling room during summer heat. Seperate kitchen, bath, bedroom, dining and sitting area...spacious compared to urban hotels at same price range. A car ferry to cross the river?! Awesome!!!

No King size bed. I think the bed was a queen or a double, and well worn. When "things" get old, such as furniture, water fixtures, sink basins, countertops, linoleum floors, shaggy carpet, etc., no matter how much you scrub them they don't look or "feel" clean. It's fine if it's your own filth in your own house, but when it's someone else's, then... :( Someone left a used medical face mask behind on the bedroom floor. Not a big deal, just kinda gross.

It was beautiful view The food was very good and the room was very comfortable.

You had to climb 25 outside stairs with your bags. No one helped you that’s the only thing I didn’t like about it.

I liked the view of the water and the quietness. The food in the restaurant was very good though pricey.

The furniture needs updating. The bathtub was tall so I had to be really careful stepping in.
