The place was beautiful Room was spacious ( NO microwave) Most of the employees were nice

I didn't like not having a microwave in the room We walked in the gift shop before checking out to inquire about James River lotions and hair products And the lady acted as if she didn't want to acknowledge we were in there, (we were the only customers in the shop at that time) after a while we just left, sad because we liked the products and it was our anniversary and I wanted that instead of flowers

The staff was absolutely amazing!! The property is beautiful. The staff being extremely friendly and helpful really made a positive impact on our stay. The front desk staff, the gift shop staff, all the pool staff and the cleaning staff were all absolutely wonderful. Everyone made sure we had everything we needed during our stay our comfort was priority to the staff. Even the staff that we didn’t directly deal with were very friendly and would wave from a distance.

The property was very nice and peaceful . My husband and I enjoyed having morning coffee on the patio of our room. He loved to playing golf. Customer service was on point!!! The food was pretty good at all of the restaurants. It was a birthday weekend trip and I was even serenaded by one of the staff. My husband and I got massages at the spa. The staff was wonderful.

Our bathtub had a large stain in the center. I also think there should be more social gatherings on the resort. Maybe I went on a slow week .

The lazy River was amazing. Good clean areas amazing time for the family :-) wanted to go out for Father's Day weekend and had an amazing time

The hotel room we stayed in was a little small and did not have a microwave. Other than that everything was super clean and the beds were comfortable :-)

Loved the location, how spacious it was and there was so many things going on.

I was not happy that I booked a king suite and upon arrival and check in I was not told of any changes so I thought all was good until I walked into our room and it had two double beds. Now I’m the type of person that wants to relax and enjoy and sleep on a comfy bed that’s is either the size of my bed at home or bigger not smaller. I was there with my SO and we did not want separate beds. I called front desk who basically said they were out of king suites and they figured I should be fine since they put me in a room with a River view. Regardless how gorgeous the River view was I still wanted my king suite which we did not receive. Was not happy about that. I spent a lot of money to get the room I booked for, a view is not worth the money I spent to have my bed size.

The resort was beautiful, staff was courteous and helpful, room was clean and roomy, we saw deer, rabbits, ducks and other wildlife walking around, Our condo was riverfront so the views were amazing we were very close to pools, fitness center and main building. It didn’t seem like there were a lot of people there which was nice.

The website and handouts from the resort state all pools are open until 9, but our favorite pool with the lazy river closed at 8 every night we stayed, no signs that say that just the staff would tell us when we came they closed at 8 and would be cleaning and putting everything up at 7. Its not a big deal just a slight disappointment

First time guests, first time traveling with a dog. Upon arrival I found I had booked a room online that was not adequate for my family. Not enough beds, or room for crate etc. Ashley Kessler provided me with an upgrade that was more than reasonable. Our condo was fantastic! Perfect for our family. If not for Ms. Kessler, our stay would have been so-so/average and we probably wouldn't have returned. Now because she introduced us to the resort and many amenities & offers we would not have known about, we plan on becoming regulars (we live 80 mins away) . Our friends will hear about this trip through social media too. All because of Ms. Kessler, she really made a difference. Thank you.

That the Game room / Arcade was not open for our gaming 11yr old. Could have put trip over the top.

Excellent proximity to Busch Gardens. Our kids absolutely loved the amazing river pool (with lazy river and slide)! Great entertainment— we had a blast at the 80s concert on the golf course. Our room was very clean and all the staff we chatted with were warm and friendly. Great breakfast and the breakfast staff were fantastic! Staff driving golf carts always offered us a ride and were very friendly and helpful.

Wish they would bring back the shuttle to Busch Gardens. Biggest issue with the resort is the lack of dining options. Very limited food/drink options and everything is closed by 9pm. We ate dinner off property both nights. Frustrating that housekeeping is an additional fee and not included in your room price/resort fee.

Room was excellent! It was very comfortable. It was clean and spacious. Nice to have a kitchen. Extras like a second TV in bedroom was a nice splurge.

Not much we didn't like. Little touches like a couple extra hooks in the bathroom to hang towels or robes would be nice. Overall it was just right

Unique, didn’t feel crowded, the 800 sq ft 1-bedroom condo, Keurig machine, amenities including fishing poles, lazy river, and restaurants.

Minor maintenance items in the condo seemed to be neglected. For example, the front door required us to push our body into it to open the door and bathroom sink knobs were loose.
