The location was great! One exit away from Busch Gardens and Water Country was right across the street! I could tell the lobby and rooms were recently upgraded and they were nice. Very spacious with a desk, vanity sink, smart TV, and lots of outlets for devices!

The breakfast was really lackluster. No hot breakfast unless you count toast or you heating up a Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich. The chairs in the breakfast area had stain at the table I chose. The AC in the room wasn't clean and I woke up to black specks of dust on my bed that had blown from the vent all night.

Guests should not be looking at the plumbing, cut paneling and styrofoam under the sink, especially if their clean towels are in the same cabinet. It looks unprofessional and unclean. Also, people tend to be fairly good sized animals, they need more than a one inch bar of soap, or a couple ounces of liquid body wash. It’s also helpful to have some form of rack to set them on inside the shower, so they don’t have to hold it, or drop it and pick it up later.

I liked how close it was to my fiancés job, as we are trying to find a home in Williamsburg. Decent breakfast w/pancake, eggs, sausage & homefries. Small bagels & toast. 3 types of cereals. Staff was very accommodating!

I didn’t know the hotel was under Reno. There was construction going on in the lobby, hallways, contractors everywhere. Also no pool ☹️ just a while in ground. Other thing that’s wasn’t too bad was there were a lot of kiddos running around, slamming door til 12am, crying in hallways. I get it bcause of Water Country being a few miles away, but it was just bothersome.

The bathroom had a crack on the wall in the shower and paint peeling off the ceiling. The ac broke in my room and I had to switch rooms at 9:30 at night. I was told at check in breakfast was until 10:30 am. The first morning everything was cleaned up at 10 am and the second morning everything was cleaned up at 9 am. They should really stick to it he time was told. Other than that it was a good stay

The staff is always congenial and polite… and, always willing to accommodate your needs, “with a smile” ! I’ve visited the property twice, now, and considered my rooms “quite” comfortable, and a great value for the price ! The only thing that I can think of is : The property is under extensive renovations, and, sometimes access to certain accommodations ( designated hallways, elevators, parking) can be difficult. However, this is to be expected, at least to some extent, when setting a goal to improve the property. In the end, as a future guest, my wife and I will enjoy the fruits of these efforts, I’m sure. The property is located fantastically for anyone vacationing in Williamsburg, going to Busch Gardens or Water Country! It's just minutes away from both, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the room was overall comfortable.

The exterior of the hotel is not appealing, and could definitely use a face lift. The breakfast wasn't great and the breakfast room was so small we had to take our food back to our room, which wasn't convenient.

could not check in until 4. when I arrived at 2:00 to inquire about checking in early I stood at the at the desk for a good 2 minutes before I was acknowledged. I realize staff was discussing work, but a one second eye contact and hello would have been nice

The location was great

I found 2 pieces of someone's leftover blunts under the pull out couch and pieces of trash in the corners of the room which means the room wasn't vacuumed. There wasn't any sheets, blankets or pillows for the pullout couch. Also, I had to take my dirty towels down to the check in desk for new ones to be replenished. When I asked for an extra pillow for the pullout couch I was told that the room came with 5 pillows and I couldn't get an extra pillow! On our 2nd night of our 4 night stay there was a family with quite a few children that were running up and down the hallway screaming and making a lot of noise at 10:30-10:45:at night and it was very annoying as my daughter was trying to put her 4 month old son to sleep!

Don't let the outside appearance scare you. The hotel looks old and dirty; however, the inside was quite a surprise. Renovations are being made and everything was new and clean. The staff was excellent and Max was extremely helpful. The bedrroom was clean and had a refrigerator as well as a microwave. The bathroom sink was in the foyer and the shower and toilet were in a separate room. We looked for a blow-dryer and found it in a cubby under the microwave and we were satisfied with the room as we were only staying for one night. Breakfast was plentiful with cereals, pancakes, eggs, toast, potatoes, and sausages. The breakfast did not include waffles and the coffee was delicious.

The shower drain was full of hair and kept the water from draining. The toiletries left by the hotel were so tiny that we didn't use them. The shampoo was enough for people with short hair. If you have long hair and like to shampoo it twice, bring your own shampoo. The bar of soap was a joke as it didn't lather well and was so small that it was useless as a cleansing agent.

The food was great and the guy who prepared the food as very friendly. He greeted us with a smile and made sure the food was hot and accessible. He kept the tables clean and made sure we were happy with the food. He deserves a bonus.help said the re

The rooms were nice but I was not aware they were under construction. The hotel construction will be going on for another year. Also, there were two days when the water was turned off for hours.
