I had stayed at this location years ago with my daughter while on a college tour and I was so disappointed. This time; not at all! It is a wonderful hotel with wonderful amenities and a perfect distance to Busch Gardens and all historical sites you would like to see. The beds were so comfortable, and I can't say enough about the pillows! I love to sink into mine when I go to sleep, and these were beyond exceptional. The hotel is now bright and inviting and doesn't make me feel like I am in a horror movie. They have done a phenomenal job renovating the common areas and the great news is they are not done. According to the front desk agent. Oh, and the greatest perk: THEY CLEAN THE ROOMS DAILY!! I am so tired of traveling now a days only to be told we will not have our room cleaned. It was a total welcome surprise to find our room clean after a long day at the amusement park.

The fact we had to pay 10 dollars a night to park at the hotel. The logic makes no sense and the fact they didn't admit it is just another way to pick your pocket is annoying. The last was that I was not able to pay cash. I wanted to pay for my tickets and the parking fee in cash but "they couldn't figure out" how to get it in the system so they could take my money. Cashless is not for everyone and should be accommodated. It does say "legal tender" on all currency. Just saying...

Loved the room, beds, view of the pool , the pools! We had so much fun. 7 min from water country! so convenient for our trip!!

We paid 265 for one night..... why is breakfast almost 20 dollars per person? That sucked. As a family of four we paid pretty much 70 extra dollars just to eat. And the food is just the same as any other hotel. You guys should really look into changing this rule. ALSO, had a lady answering the front desk, huffing and puffing. acting as if our questions were a bother. Please hire people that love what they do and are happy to help.

They have a great pool and an immaculate lobby with very personable and professional staff. The staff was by far my favorite part. Just great people. The complimentary cookies are warm and absolutely delicious

No usb-c ports. The bathroom was less than desirable for the price that we paid: the water took 10 minutes to get warm, the lighting was separated from the ceiling and the caulk work around the lighting, sprinkler system and other fixtures was not completed by a professional. We have already paid a premium price for the room, so why are we paying an additional 12.00 for self-parking and $2.50 per bottle for off brand bottled water. If you want a microwave, well you have to share with the entire floor and you can find it next to the elevator.

Kind staff, clean room there was one dirty wash cloth in the room from previous person who used the room but it happens, nice pool and over all good experience. They gave us super great tips on saving money for travel.

We stayed 3 nights and 4 days. The first night was great but the second night unfortunately we have to deal with really loud adults and children in the room near us. They ran the halls screaming and were super loud inside the room at 1 to 2am Security was called and they said they would keep it down but unfortunately didn't. It was a rough two last nights of sleep. The restaurants down stairs looked and smelled amazing but the price was a bit much. Parking should be free with staying for a few days. But it was 10 dollars even tho some hotels offered free parking. They should give you a sticker to put in your car stating dates your checked in to give free parking to people staying at the hotel. Bathroom was a bit tight as well but really nice.

The hotel was conveniently located only a mile from Busch Gardens and Water Country USA. Had a little cafe to get stuff on off hours and offered a breakfast buffet/restaurant at night. We were on a packed time schedule so this made getting food and drinks super convenient for our stay.

The eggs at the breakfast buffet were not great. We skipped over those but the buffet had many other options.

I loved how clean the hotel smelled upon entrance. I loved the amenities the pool and gym was awesome! Clean rooms! The breakfast was excellent! Bed was always done when I came back from amusement park which was 3 minutes away. very convenient next to gas station and fast food restaurants. Alot of parking spaces and clean sheets . HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I WILL NEVER STAY ANYWHERR ELSE IF ITS NOT A DOUBLETREE OR HILTON ! You get what you pay for

Just a lot of furniture in the parking lot. They were remolding so not a big deal. Didn’t like the fee for my car to park in the parking lot when I already paid for a room? Doesn’t make sense. Why pay to park how else would we come and stay?

The property on the outside was nice and the lobby was as well.

The rooms needed maintenance and upgrades in the bathroom. The carpet smell. It’s not an ideal facility for elderly or people with disabilities because the walk from elevator to room can be an issue with the person with disability and the elderly. One of the members of my group electrical outlet in their room was bad and almost shocked them.

Location was great - one block away from Bush Gardens! Close to the stores and restaurants but off of the main road. The hotel was clean, the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The outdoor pool was great and open late! The warm, welcome cookies that were provided to us at check-in were a delightful treat after getting drenched at Bush Gardens! I forgot to take pics of the hotel, but it was nice.

It was a long walk to the room after getting off of the elevator- we had to walk down several hallways, which was ok for us but could be an issue for some people.

Spacious room , close to amusement parks, THE COOKIES WERE DELICIOUS!!

Microwave and fridge were unplugged and the plug to the microwave did not not reach to the outlet , so I had to move the microwave closer and was constantly having to unplug one to use the other (room 160)
