Beautiful Lobby and location. Large room, clean, good linens.

A lot was closed; the pool, the lounge. The room needs reading lights for the beds and another chair for sitting. A fridge and microwave would be a big improvement and there is plenty of room for that. I loved the pillows and bed but husband felt they were too soft.

This is a very elegant historic hotel, ornately decorated with a fascinating history. Our room was spacious and the beds comfortable. There are lots of little details, like the night light under the counter in the bathroom and even a doorbell just for our room. We enjoyed two dinners in the Palm Court Grill.

Although our room had two beds (so high we had to climb into them) there was only one chair! So only one person had a good place to sit down. Also, we had multiple problems with our key cards and had to go to the desk, wait in line and have them replaced.

I LOVE The Davenport and have been staying here for years. My family used to gather here "back in the day", we weathered the years it was closed and in disrepair and I continue to celebrate it's renewal. Never disappointing. Love the beds, great night's sleep. The new lobby bar is delightful and comfortable. I appreciate the N/A cocktails. Wonderful spot to unwind after a long drive (no disrespect to the Peacock Lounge which is also wonderful). I do miss the sweet shop but it is still a fabulous stay in Spokane and easily holds its own vs. The Olympic in SEA and The Benson in PDX. Bravo! Wandering the halls enjoying the vintage photos and memorabilia is also fun and it's right downtown. Walking distance to Riverfront Park, shopping, other restaurants, etc.

I wish I could stay longer!

The property is stunning. The rooms are very comfortable.

The new bar in the center of the lobby is very cool - however, it feels like the lobby is lacking places to sit if you are waiting for people or just lounging. Every place in the lobby seems like you need to be a patron of either the restaurant or bar. While I was waiting for friends I had to move twice due to being seated in a place where I couldn’t just sit and wait.

I travel a lot all over the U.S. and the world. This is my absolute favorite hotel in the United States! No joke. It’s perfectly situated in the center of Spokane, and the property itself is an absolute gem! If you are traveling to Spokane for leisure, I have no idea why you would stay anywhere else. Do yourself a favor and acquaint yourself with this fantastic place. Also eat breakfast and/or dinner there. Have a drink in the Peacock Lounge. It’s a true destination hotel!

Not one dang thing!

David at the front desk did an amazing job helping us with our reservation and even got us an upgrade to the Cutter Suite!!! Absolutely breathtaking hotel and superb food and drinks. We thoroughly enjoyed the dual-sided fireplace, jetted tub, and walk-in shower. We will definitely be returning for more than one night and plan to make use of the spa! 10/10 would recommend!

My only complaint was the Davenport Mattress was too firm for my taste. With the pillow top it seemed like it would be very plush and soft. I imagine most other people would enjoy it but I do like a very soft bed.

Very interesting main areas retaining original 100yr old fittings. Roof terrace was nice in the sun with friendly staff Stayed twice - the 'Delux' room was great spacious and comfortable the 'standard room' less so. Valet /door staff always smiled and were pleasant

'Standard room' only had one chair the other person needed to sit on the bed. Mattress sloped at the sides and tended to role out of bed if within 1 foot of the edge. Housekeeping -after day 3 found the ' I need housekeeping' button beside the door prior to that no housekeeping (obvious when you know) Worst issue in both rooms we stayed in was aircon had temperature control but no fan control. Outlet is beside the bed so always a cold draft. Call to reception got it turned off, but no control in the room. Reception staff a bit miserable - maybe overworked. Breakfast waiting staff miserable even when leaving them a tip.

This was our 20th year of coming to the Davenport overnight. My daughter and granddaughter look forward to it every year. It was nice. To be gifted by the staff with the box of peanut brittle in honor of the 20th visit at so what do we need to do to get ready for Aidan‘s birthday thing on Wednesday or do I need to do we need to do we need to get a card we need to get tires the tires give me money for the tires we’d be giving you money anyway figure it out. See you later. OK turn the lights on if you need to Christmas.

When there are three adults staying in a room, there should be three glasses available.

It was beautifully decorated for the holidays, staff was very nice and professional. We all slept well.

Unsure if this was a miscommunication of amenities by booking.com or the hotel gave me a different room than what Booking said was offered, but the king noting a bathtub did not in fact have a bathtub. I won’t use it in most hotels, but it is a selling point/I do look forward to a bath when the hotel is of a nicer caliber. This was the only disappointment. Check out at noon allowed us to go out for a late breakfast/not feel rushed in the morning.

Beautiful hotel, completely renovated to preserve its historic spirit. The rooms are a good size and fully equipped. The staff are professional and pleasant. Gym and pool to make sport.

A bit expensive for Spokane. Parking is easy to drive but expensive.
