The staff: Jen in housekeeping was stellar and front desk receptionist was very helpful. Simplicity! Tiki Lodge seems to have made checking in/out as easy as possible.

These issues didn't bother me, but potential guests may be sensitive to them. Apparent urine odor in toilet area. Perhaps a plumbing issue or drainage, or from a previous incident. The washroom was spotlessly immaculate, as I saw the area being cleaned. My room was nearly soundproof and I had no trouble sleeping, but the active railroad to the north of the building may keep light sleepers awake.

It was conveniently located near tons of shopping, food, and near the freeway. Cameras outside for added security and tons of lighting! Love that there’s a gas station and restaurant in the same parking lot!

There’s a lot of foot traffic just being the area it is in. Didn’t cause any problems while we were there. Right next to a railroad track with constant use but not too loud at all!

I was passing through for work. This was a great value. Door locked, bed and room was clean, staff was friendly. Yes, you will hear a train passing by in the night. Yes, you will see that all types of people stay here. Come on, it’s not the Ritz Carlton, so those who would criticize Tiki Lodge can relax. Don’t stay here if you cannot handle the humanity. I thought it was fine, and I would stay here again.

I would like to have an additional slide-chain lock or something inside on the front door. Let’s face it. It’s kind of a rough neighborhood.

Easy access to everything. Franks Diner a restored vintage Northern Pacific railcar had excellent food and great ambiance.

Train tracks behind the motel but wasn't loud enough to bother me. One small trash can, no microwave, beds were not made, and towels were not replaced, and bathroom was very small. All things considered I was comfortable and for the price I'm not complaining.

It's less than ten minute walk to the waterfront park in Spokane, so you won't have to try to find a place to park downtown and pay for parking. It's next to the railroad tracks but the tracks are up on a viaduct, so they trains don't honk their horns. If you want to be downtown and don't mind the occasional noise of freight train going by, this is a good location.

Almost every parking space is marked for compact cars only, so parking is a bit inconvenient if you have a larger vehicle.

The motel was quaint, vintage charm, very clean, huge room, big walk in closet and the bathroom was wonderful. I appreciated the fridge and the microwave. It was close to a few diners and two grocery stores. I will stay there again!

I didn't like the fact that I had to buzz a bell outside to get check in assistance.

Staff and management went out of there way to accommodate me and my pet. Would deffently stay again THANKYOU!
