Lovely old art deco building which has been updated to a hotel. Beautiful tile work in the lobby. Lots of character. Close to breweries, walkable to city centre mall. Short drive to the vintage shops up Monroe. Near Riverfront park.

One block away from a shelter. Wouldn't walk around at night by myself.

Hotel Indigo Spokane is a wonderful property. The staff is dedicated and professional, yet still laid-back and friendly. The decor is a superb hybrid of an historic property and a modern boutique hotel. Everything during my stay was exquisitely clean. In-property restaurant and coffee are very satisfying, and there are other options within a block or two. The hotel neighborhood is the Spokane city core, so it's very urban, yet feels safe. I would compare the ambiance of Hotel Indigo Spokane to a high-quality, professionally managed Swiss boutique hotel.

I enjoyed every aspect of my stay.

The staff here were awesome and outgoing, even for our late evening arrival! There’s a fun and somewhat upscale “historic-modern” aesthetic to the lobby and rooms—and hands down THE most comfortable bedding of our whole trip! The hotel is walking distance to several good downtown restaurants (and theatres if you’re in town for a show!)—we ducked into Heritage Bar & Kitchen for its casual late night eating.

The bathroom doors are barn-door style sliding doors that are *very* noisy to close. I could tell when the neighbors were using them, and I woke up my partner when I used them. Lesson learned, the privacy wasn’t worth the clatter. Downtown Spokane itself is also a place where the Haves are never far from the Have Nots. We never felt unsafe, but it’s worth having both vigilance and compassion while here. Overall this was a great stay for us, easy to sink into and relax at Hotel Indigo!

From a very organized and well planed trip, it went south really fast. We got trapped in a terminal. Airlines made us miss our connection flights and left us stranded in the airport. Becci from Hotel Indigo was my savior. She was sympathetic and understood that we were in a bit of a pickle. I got a refund of the night missed, and they have sorted out a room for us to check in early in the morning. The other staff at reception were fantastic too im sorry I didn't write down your names. But a beautiful receptionist with brown hair was so sweet and accommodating. Also, the valet drivers were understanding and let us park for way longer than we're supposed to. So overall, the hotel staff are amazing. Thank you so much.

Maybe it was a quiet period, but their restaurant, where they served breakfast, was never open. But not to worry, there were so many places to go for breakfast as this hotel is so central.

Amazingly friendly staff! So accommodating and kind! Valet service was incredible! It made downtown parking stress free, which is exactly what we needed after a long drive. The hotel had the most amazing vibe and our room was beautiful! Great bathrooms that were the cherry on top! Everything was so clean. The staff were knowledgeable and had wonderful recommendations for local food. You really can't top this location. We were celebrating a graduation and a Birthday, so the ease of knowing where to go to maximize our experience really enhanced the entire trip. We will definitely be staying at this hotel again in the future. Thank you for making this weekend so special and memorable. Highly recommend.

I loved the style, location, staff and comfort of the room. Very helpful and friendly staff! The bed and overall room were very comfortable, and I enjoyed roaming around the area on foot.

I wish we had a mini fridge! That was the only disappointment—we were on a road trip and could’ve used a fridge to store items. Also, I had trouble with my key card. Had to get it replaced before checkout and then had a staff person let me in the second time. Not a big deal—the staff was very helpful—but it was strange to have my key not work twice in one night of stay.

We got a free upgrade on arrival which was lovely - the room was huge, the bed was too! Bed super comfy. Spacious bathroom, very clean. Great that the lobby reflects the old style of the hotel. Evening food very tasty. Good beer selection in the bar.

Only two observations: 1. the room was cold on arrival ( it is October) and we struggled to get the heating going, so some instructions would be useful (that said the receptionist was happy to pop up and help) 2. if you have prepaid for breakfast it is not made clear what/how many of the menu items are included, and which will be charged for.

If you love historic buildings this is the perfect fit!!! it's up to date but not too modernized to where it loses it special touch of history.

The night staff lady was a little rude my husband and I had walked downtown at night time and we seen old homeless man who was a war vet at that laying on the ground shivering and he had nothing but a tiny sweatshirt and a pair of jeans socks and shoes I told my husband you need to go back to our hotel room and get one of our extra blankets luckily we had a thick sleeping bag to give him when we brought down the sleeping bag the night stuff was told by me what I was doing and immediately she started treating me as if I was the homeless person I understand needing to check IDs to make sure that people going through the doors have rooms there but that's why you are supposed to lock the doors at night

Second time staying at this hotel because we do love it. The location is great if you are seeing a show at any of the local theaters. Overall, it was safe to walk to and from, unlike some of the other hotels in a similar radius from theaters. The hotel rooms are huge, super cute, very clean and have that clean smell. Beds are comfortable. Free coffee and mints downstairs in the lobby. It's.

Cost of valet, which isn't for a full 24 hours and its an open lot, is $30, but I understand it's downtown, so you are paying for that convenience. Last time we were there, breakfast was included. This time, breakfast wasn't included, but I believe that is an upgraded package when purchasing your room. Only odd thing about the room is there is no fan in the bathroom, and they are modern with that sliding door. So if you are sharing a room with someone you aren't comfortable with I could see someone feeling embarrassed

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Indigo. The room was large and comfortable. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed using the gym which has weightlifting equipment multiple treadmills. The hotel is centrally located in Spokane. We had read about problems with car break-ins in downtown Spokane so we appreciated the valet parking to keep our car in a secured lot over night. The only thing we noticed for improvement is that our shower drain was clogged with a previous guest's hair. Overall for its value, location, services, etc, we would recommend Hotel Indigo for a stay in Spokane.
