The location is ideal to explore all of Hanoi. It's located right in the middle of the Old Quarter and everything you might want access to is only a stone's throw away- Hoan Kiem Lake, St. Joseph's Cathedral, The French Quarter etc. As a solo traveller, this hotel met all my needs and more. I always felt safe and like I could rely on the staff. Staff who went above and beyond to make my trip feel special and fun. They were genuinely the most lovely and dedicated people I've met, who helped me plan my trip and excursions through their own tour packages and facilities. It was actually so handy, I would really recommend availing of it. Don't worry, they offer really competitive prices as well, it's great when they know your itinerary as they can handle the admin stuff for you. I loved every day at this hotel, I would come back here in a heartbeat. You cannot beat the value, the location and more than anything the people who work here, they are amazing.

Excellent staff, including Ms. Rosa (hotel manager), Me Kent, and others. They welcomed us as if we were members of their own family. They ensured that there was no single trouble. We left the stuff at their hotel before departing for Ha Long Bay. Ms. Rosa organized all of our adventures in Vietnam, including Halong Bay, Sapa Trekking, the Hagigang Loop, Hue, the Hoian Tour, the Mekong Delta, and more. All trips were fantastic and more affordable than internet booking. The location is close to the shopping street and the train street as well. It is around 50 meters from the lake. Thank you, Golden Lotus Hotel, for a wonderful stay and exceptional service. I definitely suggest it to everyone.

Lovely big rooms and beds with everything we needed. We were upgraded to a balcony room and had a great view of the streets below. The noise didnt bother us.

The toilet in the lobby wasn’t great

It is located right in the center of the Old Quarter in Hanoi and it is definitely was value for money as I was travelling alone. It was the most affordable and decent hotel. The staff was super kind, Hana was kind enough to help me with all my queries, she let me check in early as well as helped me book a cab for the airport. The rooms are quite nice and equipped with water and refreshments.

Excellent location, fantastic host Hanni , who took care about us, organized trips to SaPa and Ninh Binh , Halong bay and Hagiang our group felt welcome and supported – as good as at home. Thanks a lot!

The best thing about Hanoi Golden Lotus Hotel & Spa is not the location or the building itself,it's the amazing staff. When I stayed there, the hotel was being managed by a wonderful team of women. While the hotel doesn't have an in-house spa, they have good tie-ups with nearby spa services. The breakfast is also arranged through a partner hotel close by,tasty and satisfying. Now, the real highlight: Ms. Rose. She may be the digital manager or tour manager (I’m not exactly sure), but her service was incredible. She contacted me almost 20 days before my arrival, providing detailed information about tours, packages, airport taxi service, SIM cards, and more. I booked their tours and they turned out to be excellent. The personal touch didn’t stop there,upon arrival, she spent nearly 20 minutes with us, walking us through a local Hanoi map and explaining exactly how we could explore the city, what key places to visit and how to do it all easily on our own. In my life, I have booked over 2000 hotels, including 5-star and 7-star properties, and no one has ever explained things so thoroughly and helpfully. Rose is truly the best asset for this hotel. If I were to start a hotel business in Vietnam, I would absolutely hire her as my manager! Highly recommend this hotel simply because of the care and service of the staff, especially Rose.

Clean and comfortable at an affordable price. The staff was very helpful with everything. They provided drop off to the airport when needed. Even helped with currency exchange. Bob was really helpful with the money exchange and went with me to the exchange.

Great location and lovely staff. Had a massage in the spa downstairs which was great! Room was nice and clean.

My friend and I booked a room with a window but sadly as the weather was cold and the window was single glazed and draughty, the room was incredibly cold. Sadly we couldn't change rooms but the very lovely receptionist gave us his electric heater to use in the room as well as extra duvets.

The staff were very accommodating and helpful. Very attentive and helped us book a couple of excursions, giving us a good price for both. The room was clean and we had two free bottles of water each day. After staying in one room for 3 nights, we checked out to go to ha long bay. We thought the location was so good that we decided to return to the same hotel for our remaining two nights after ha long bay excursion. Kent was very helpful with this and upgraded our room for the same price - very good value for money.

Nothing that we didn’t like.

The breakfast included is a must. The personnels are very accomodating,polite and informative. They provide you with a very good service. The hotel area is very accessible to attractions in the Old Quarter. A must try hotel experience in hanoi.
