I had really great experience staying in La Passion! Everything was perfect from the location, spacious and comfortable room, cleanliness, and the staffs. Nearby the hotel you can find lots of food or coffee shop, the lake is also reachable in about 5 mins. walk, so it's very convenient to stay here if you want to fully enjoy the Old Quarter. There's a kitchen inside the room, so you can bring back street food then heat them for midnight snack, or make some instant pho/noodle. One of the staffs, Bella, was also exceptionally kind to me; she always made sure I feel comfortable in the hotel, recommended a nice pho place nearby, and overall very friendly. I enjoyed talking with her and she made me feel at home in Vietnam :) Hanoi's Old Quarter area is, just like its reputation as famous tourist attraction, bustling with tourists and locals alike, but it's very charming and the vibe is magical especially if you love historical, vintage-ish place. It's a fantastic place and totally worth the visit, and I recommend to stay at La Passion if you come to Old Quarter. I myself will surely stay here again if I come back to Hanoi next time.

It's right in the middle of everything, super handy for shops, restaurants, cafes, etc. It's located in a small alley that gives you that immediate feel that you're in Hanoi. Breakfast was really good, but in a separate hotel about 50m away. But the place was nice and with actual Vietnamese food and plenty. Good coffee too. The room looks just like in the photos with a small balcony, kitchenette and medium size fridge. We didn't use the kitchen because eating out is so much more exciting and cheap too. You're not overlooked from other buildings!

There's some street noise at night but only until about midnight. However it is not loud but is something to keep in mind. The access alley is about 10m away from the main street so a taxi won't stop right at your door step. Similarly, the hotel access is via a staircase with about 10 steps, so you need to lift your suitcases by yourself. Breakfast is served at a different location. We didn't use the balcony, the view is not particularly attractive.

The room is super spacious, much bigger than other rooms in Hanoi. So clean and comfortable, and you feel more integrated into Hanoi with the balcony overlooking a little side street with lanterns and motorbikes. (Don’t worry it is not a main road so minimal noise) The staff were so helpful, they made the trip so smooth by answering our questions and booking restaurants for us. The room was cleaned each day and we were given fresh towels, treated like a hotel even though it’s an apartment - best of both. We also loved the breakfast because we could walk 2mins down the road to their sister hotel and enjoy the yummy pho / eggs & Vietnamese coffee. We loved this room so much we ended up coming back after a couple days in Sapa to stay again. Incredible value for money - fully recommend.

The air con wasn’t the best, could do with a replacement. However the room was cool enough and we still were able to sleep well.

The hotel is located in the center of the city, so you can go to many of the popular tourist spots within walking distance. Our room was very spacious, organized, and clean. The staff at the hotel were all very kind. Daisy gave us tour information and recommended nearby restaurants(it was good!). Louis, who not only booked tours and recommended a spa near by, but also guided us to the destination. What impressed us the most was that he came to see us off at the hotel early in the morning, even though it was not his duty. We highly recommend this hotel.

The street in front of the property was not pleasant.

It was a beautiful experience staying at La Passion Hanoi Hotel and Apartment. Absolutely loveee the service that the staff provides. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and render assistance. Our Receptionist Bella was amazing in her service. She took the effort to message me a day before my stay and helped my mother with her luggage too. Our breakfast was at their sister hotel, La Passion Hanoi Hotel and Spa which is just 3 mins or less walk away. Excellent service provided there too. The Manager Dion, walked us thru the buffet breakfast and explained to us the dishes. They have a great selection for breakfast. On my last day there, Dion actually wrote me a beautiful card. Truly appreciate the gesture. Room was clean and the housekeeping staff was prompt in cleaning and does a thorough job. Appreciate her too. I would absolutely stay there again if i ever visit Hanoi. Thank you guys for the pleasant stay. ☺️

Exactly what we wanted! The staff are kind and always friendly, Daniel was especially helpful. The rooms are clean and exactly how pictured on the website. Location is in the heart of old town with so many options for food and drink. The breakfast was better than we expected. The location for breakfast is at their sister hotel 3mins walk away. We thought this would be inconvenient but in the end it didn’t bother us at all, it really is just around the corner. We would come stay again.

Rooms were very clean and had been nicely decorated. Everything seemed brand new and the lighting was very good. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff were very hospitable and stayed up late to welcome us in the early hours of the morning to check in. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed for 3 nights and this was the perfect amount. Loads of amenities right on the doorstep and everything was easy to walk to from the hotel.

We didn't realise when booking that the hotel was down a residential alleyway and at times walking through to get to the hotel entrance was a bit daunting / not particularly pleasant. Breakfast could have been open until a little later (finishes at 9 am) we missed it the first day due to our very early morning arrival.

We really liked our stay and the staff was so kind (especially, Louis). He was so helpful when the wifi stopped working we called him and then he fixed a new room for us (after trying multiple times to fix the wifi). Also Louis was so helpful with recommendations on what to do in the city. Definitely a top employee

The only thing i would say is the breakfast. As a european noodles and Rice isn’t the first choice of breakfast. I Think they could add some varities of bread, cold cuts, hash Browns, waffles and more of that.

We stayed here for 4 nights on 2 consecutive bookings. The reception staff here were really helpful; I must thank Loyal and Louis for their assistance. The hotel is located in the Hanoi Old Quarter, so many of the sights are within walking distance. The room is smaller than it looks in the photos, but that wasn't an issue. Breakfast is served at their sister hotel, La Passion Hanoi Hotel & Spa, which is a 5 minute walk away. The breakfast was good, had a good variety and the options changed slightly every day. Our room had a little kitchen with a small set of utensils. The room was cleaned daily. The laundry service and WiFi were quite good. Despite the problems mentioned in the negatives section, we had a good stay here and would like to stay here again.

The bathtub in our room had a problem where water would seep onto the bathroom floor. Given the damp weather during our stay, the floor had to be dried by the cleaning service during their daily cleaning. The staff were aware of the problem but couldn't do much about it as the person responsible for the repairs was not visiting. The breakfast options were not properly labelled. So, as vegetarians, we had to ask the staff every day whether an unfamiliar option was vegetarian or not, and they often didn't know.

Had an absolutely amazing stay at the La Passion. The room was spacious and spotless, with great décor and crisp bed sheets made up daily. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a huge variety of options! The staff were attentive (especially Dior) and went out of their way to ensure that I was comfortable and had everything. Nothing was too much trouble. Also, BIG thank you to Louis Nguyen, who was the kindest, most helpful, and professional receptionist I've ever encountered. Thank you so much for all your help.
