Very helpful and welcoming staff. They were very concerned. Accommodating our request for charging adapter, booking limo to tour spots ( they organise tours through agencies) and let us even cook baby food. Neat and Tidy room. Showers had warm water. In the heart of Old Quarter, walking distance to any kind of shops and restaurants you name it. Morning Coffee, Tea was available which was a great help.

Since its a prime location, at the price they offer which was very competitive and cheap the rooms were tight and not spacious specially the room with 2 double bed with 4 adult occupancy. With luggage for 4 person that room becomes congested. They have no lift and the stairs are steep. For young couple this rooms and facility is great but for senior people you might give it a thought.

Central location in the Old Quarter. Staff are very professional and friendly and will help with anything you need, including tours and taxis. Comfortable beds and air-conditioning.

Shower was a bit small and room could do with some more hooks to hang clothes.

Golden Time Hostel 3 set the perfect tone for our entire Northern Vietnam adventure. The receptionist, Thuc, and the incredibly friendly manager, Mr. Tony, went above and beyond to help us settle in and thoroughly plan our trip. I had been in contact with Thuc since September, after booking the hostel. He was extremely helpful in explaining everything and confirming my booking. They arranged a luxury van to pick us up from the airport at a minimal cost, and that experience led us to hire a luxury van for our roundtrip journey to Sapa. It was a last-minute request, but Mr. Tony managed to arrange it seamlessly. It was a delight. Unfortunately, due to our limited time in Hanoi and Sapa, we couldn't stay longer at their hostel. I would highly recommend this hostel to everyone. The top-notch service and hospitality were amazing and unforgettable. The hostel is located in the heart of the Old Quarter, making it easy to walk to any destination. Cafe Giang is just a few steps away. It was definitely a memorable experience and a perfect first day in Hanoi. Note: The hostel is quite small, and there are no elevators, so be prepared to navigate stairs with your luggage. This wasn't an issue for us, as the service and hospitality were exceptional.

Perfect location. Within walking distance to many great cafes and restaurants. It's a busy area the moment you step outside but room is still quiet, which is amazing. Friendly and super helpful reception staff, very cheerful. Our room, bed linen, and towels were clean. Shower pressure was strong.

We were happy with everything and would stay again. Some might find walking up several flights of stairs a problem, as there were no elevators and we were on the 4th floor. But we enjoyed the walk as it was our exercise for the day!

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with the hospitality and professionalism of the staff. The hotel itself is beautiful, with well-maintained rooms that offer a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, everything was clean and organized. A special mention goes to the nightshift receptionist, who went above and beyond to make our check-in process smooth and welcoming and caring both our suitcases up to the 4th floof. He was incredibly helpful and had a great attitude. Additionally, I want to thank the lovely young woman who helped us cary our suitcases when we checked out. She was so kind and efficient, making sure we were settled comfortably and had everything we needed. I truly appreciated the exceptional service from all the staff, and I will definitely be recommending this hotel to friends and family

The hotel is very central and the staff was very friendly, the girl and the boy both very helpful with the luggage and everything. Sweet people. The toilet was great they clean my place and they make sure my AC was working properly.

To be honest the only issue I had was noises in the morning that disrupted my sleep. So there is no good sound isolation in the room and you can hear the noises from the stairs and halls. Also my key broke but we managed together to solve it and they have another copy immediately so all good.

I had a very good experience with this hostel. First, we had a very nice welcome with Bananas and Coffee or Tea. Then the Hostel staff was so kind to upgrade our room. The Hostel room was with a balcony and was freshly cleaned. For the price, the room was in a very fair condition (positively). Notice that there are rooms with no window, so be aware of that while booking But the staff is the best about this Hostel: They helped me out no matter what question I had (food spots, sights, sim-card) and even when I checked out and was at another Hotel, the manager Tony helped me out by talking to the receptionist of the other hotel on vietnamese. So I would recommend this hostel to everyone, everytime

Excellent location with great facilities! I had a third floor room with a balcony overlooking the street but the noise of the city wasn't an issue at all. A very warm and friendly greeting from Phuong who was a wonderful host! So kind and friendly and excellent English - more than happy to help throughout my stay. I was leaving Hanoi in the evening to catch an overnight bus and Phuong was happy for me to stay in the lobby until my evening pick-up to be able to get on with some work. Another real bonus for me was that the room had international plug sockets - only a small thing, but it was great because it meant I could charge everything at once and not rely on my one adapter! Big thanks to Phuong for being so helpful and accommodating throughout my trip!

Comfortable bed (fairly hard but I like that) and quiet and effective air con. Room fairly small with no outside window but we were in the cheapest room. However that meant it was very quiet and we slept well. Very clean. In the centre of old town. Hanoi so handy for all attractions and onward travel. Super friendly staff. No common areas/ cafe etc

No common area/ cafe but TBH not sure if it would be worth it for them as there are so many places to eat etc in this area.

The location is great, close to many bike rental, coffee shops, restaurants and travel agencies as well. We really recommend staying here, the staff were very professional and always there for us, let us have coffee and bananas for free at any time and even allowed us to store our luggage for long term (2 weeks) without any extra pay and take a shower in the common shower room after checkout.
