The location was excellent and the room was decorated beautifully and was very clean. Best of all, the staff were very friendly and helpful. David, was so kind, teaching us how to pronounce some Vietnamese language and answering our kids questions.

Exeptional staff, extremely helpful and nice. They helped us organize a big part of our Vietnam-Trip in just minutes and it was absolut3ly perfect!

The rooms dont have windows to the outside, but only to the stairwell. That means it can get noisy, when people arrive late and there is constantly a bit of light coming through.

Located in the old quarter of Hanoi it is perfect for walks to explore the city. We had an upgrade of our room and stayed on the upperst floor in a quite big double bed room. Cleaned every day. Good shower. Bathroom and room with windows (can be opened). Super friendly staff willing to help and support where they can. We already booked another night later. They have an elevator.

We wouldn't recommend the laundry service they are using. It is not their own, so they are not liable for but some shirts of ours now have stains... No restaurant or area to chill. Mold at the ceiling in the bathroom.

In the middle of the Old quarter, so really central. We had the family room, with three beds and a lot of space in the 1st floor (101) (in Vietnam the 2nd level). The reception team (esp. Annie and Thai) was awesome. Good english, always found solutions and helped us. Airport shuttle organized be the hotel was also clean and safe.

Due to the location it was a little bit noisy (street), but we could sleep well. Due to the building construction the air ventilation in the room is limited (windows cannot be opened and could be improved (moistures air) but no mold in the room and bathroom. In booking.com the roof top bar is mentioned but is not in this hotel but in another one close by. The team told us on arrival directly and gave us all information. But should be more precise described in booking.

My room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Annie was fantastic at sorting another tour for me to Ban Gioc Waterfall, after another tour company let me down last minute. She also sorted a great trip to Ninh Binh for me. Staying here at Trang Trang Boutique Hotel really started my holiday off on a high. The hotel is in a great location of the Old Quarter, making everything easy to find and to walk to. My thanks to all the staff for an awesome time and contributing to my wonderful holiday memories.

The staff were fantastic!! I was upgraded to a bigger room, which was really nice, but unfortunately I never got to stay in the room. This was due to the tour company I had pre-booked a tour to Cao Bang with the next day cancelling on me. Annie at the hotel found me another tour to Cao Bang, but that involved catching a sleeper bus that night at 20.30. Annie took care of organizing the replacement tour and the transport to the bus station. I was very happy that I was going to still be able to get up to the Ban Gioc waterfalls. I was able to leave my main suitcase at the hotel overnight and I did get to use the room to shower and freshen up which was great. I would definitely stay here again and book all my tours though Annie. She booked me on the best Ninh Binh tour for 2 days later.

Trang Trang Hotel is in very good location for travellers going in Hanoi, Old Quarter. We really enjoyed our stay in the hotel with great assistance from their staff named Celine. It was even more appreciated when they allowed us to leave our luggage due to early trip in Ninh Bhin then when we came back at night, they upgraded our room in much bigger room. Celine is very accommodating and helpful during our stay, she also provided us the map for easier guide. We’ll definitely comeback again and recommend also to my friends to stay in Trang Trang.

The hotel is located in the heart of Hanoi's old quarter. It's an excellent base in the very center of the city. The vibrant neighborhood is within arm's reach. The place is very cheap, even by Vietnamese standards. Most importantly, the staff is incredibly lovely and kind. The rooms are large and have almost everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The downside is the lack of windows in the rooms (the window opens to the stairwell) and unfortunately there was mold on the ceiling in the room. The refrigerator wasn't working. I must add though that this was a very cheap stay.

This hotel is a peaceful hideaway in the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter. Though our room didn’t have windows, it was clean, quiet, and surprisingly restful—perfect after a long day exploring the city. Just steps away from Hanoi’s nightlife, yet tucked on a calm street, so you can enjoy the best of both worlds. Party all night and then have a peaceful rest in your room. A special thank you to the wonderful manager, Katherine. Her kindness, attentiveness, and personal touch truly elevated our stay. We felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. Highly recommended!

I had an amazing stay at Tran Trang Boutique Hotel. Great location to all the tourist destinations. Clean comfortable room. They helped me book my halong bay and Ninh binh trips which were also amazing. Big shout out to Annie and the rest of the team. From the moment I left for Hanoi the team made sure it was my best hotel experience in Asia so far. Annie helped book me my airport pick up, provided me with great recommendations for local food and coffee shops. All staff super super polite and friendly. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and will return when I next go Hanoi.
