We arrived with the warmest welcome by the staff. Our luggage was taken care of while we checked in with welcome drinks and warm towels. The facility was clean! Our rooms were average size (what you would expect at the heart of the city) with a large comfortable bed and very clean bathroom. It was all we needed since most of the time we were out exploring the city. The hotel is in really good location. We walked everywhere with my elderly parents without problems. The breakfast was excellent, fresh squeezed orange juice and excellent pho broth were my staples! They also had a good pastry and American breakfast option for my fiancee and step dad. The rooftop with the pool was a highlight! We went up and had drinks and played card games every night! My mother enjoyed pictures from the rooftop. At one point, we needed to use the conference room at 11pm for work and this was no problem at all for the hotel. They were kind enough to reserve the room for my fiancee. When we called the front desk to asked about the train schedule or help with setting up activities or travel arrangement, they were very helpful and the information they provided was very accurate. They spoke both English and Vietnamese very accurately so communication was effortless. The manager, Mr. Jacky Hoang was always available to help us. He made sure we had everything we needed. He seemed kind to his staff and a great manager to the hotel. Overall we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend staying at the hotel

The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful for our whole stay. From check in to check out. Our room was very clean and the location was perfect. Close to many restaurants and shops. Walking distance to everything. The breakfast buffet was good but could include slightly more variety. Mr Dong was so helpful. He organised our taxi to the airport and recommended lots to us. I could not recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Our WiFi was a bit slow on the first night, we called reception and they sent someone to fix the shower. I’m not sure if there was some sort of miscommunication but we reckon it was just lots of people connected to the WiFi as it was perfect for us during the day. Some construction work going on some days also but it didn’t bother us as it stops at a certain time, maybe something to consider if this wouldn’t suit you.

The staff were incredibly friendly & helpful - Jacky and the team were happy to answer any questions, booked me into an excellent local street food tour, and arranged airport transfers. The drink & fruit on arrival was really appreciated! The location was excellent - right by the lake and on the edge of the really hectic alleyways of the Old Quarter. I was there over new years and had a great time at the rooftop celebration - excellent views of the lake & fireworks!

The rooms & hallways are a little tired, and the windows of the room are very small, which was a bit of contrast to the grand lobby. This is understandable as they are recently under new management, so still updating the premises and I’d expect this will improve with time! Something to also be aware of is that the restaurant/bar and pool are on the top floors and can be a bit noisy - so avoid requesting a higher floor if you are seeking a bit of quiet (I was on floor 9, toward the rear of the building)

The elevator and the hallways can be better.

The price is very good given the quality. Jacky is the best manager anywhere. Dong and Rachel are great. Jessica, the server at breakfast, is a jewel. Several of the doormen were great too, but I forgot the names (apologies). I will always remember the excellent service here and the lovely staff. The hotel is in an excellent location near the Old Quarter, where there are lots of restaurants and things to do. Jacky set up several excellent excursions for us, like a street-food tour, a boat ride to Halong Bay and the caves nearby, and the day tour of Hanoi. Overall, the trip was a success.

Hanoi is difficult to navigate without a SIM card, so I recommend that visitors get one. Not all of the rooms are ideal. At first we had a smll room on the ninth floor, and there was construction going on, but they switched us to a front room facing the street on the sixth floor. The back rooms are smaller. I appreciated that they were accomodating when we complained.

It was our second stay in the same hotel, as we liked it very much during our first stay there. We liked the location: It was very well located in the center of the Old Town of Hanoi. At the beginning, we had a noisy room, but they changed it right way, addressing our needs. Overall, the staff was great! They started to get in touch before our arrival checking on our needs and making sure our arrival was smooth. They are concerned to treat the clients in a very nice manner, also providing useful recommendations to explore the city. We particularly want to highlight the people at the front desk and the entrance 😃. The breakfast was good, the facilities were clean.

The pool are could be better, otherwise everything was fine!

The location of the hotel is fantastic. It is very close to the lake and is walkable to most places - that is, assuming you can navigate the Hanoi traffic. The breakfast on offer was fairly decent. It was by no means a very large spread, but given that there are so many eateries in Hanoi, you would probably want to save your stomach anyway. Last but not least, the staff was simply fantastic. They were always eager to help - in fact, they even started helping as soon as we made the initial reservation a couple of weeks ahead of our stay. They got in touch via whatsapp and helped us with dinner reservation, arranged our desired room types as well as the car transfer from the airport to the hotel. We even got a surprise as we were leaving the hotel - the manager gave us a New Year's gift as well as refunded our car transfer from hotel back to the airport as we were getting into the car. This was totally unexpected.

The rooms were newly renovated but the workmanship was a little shoddy. The bathroom amenities were just adequate - it would have been nice if hand lotion was provided as well as a plastic laundry bag.

The amazing service I received from all the staff at the Splendid Premium Hotel, was absolutely fabulous. Every little detail has been thought of & their personal concierge team made my first few days in Vietnam feel so special. Ms Van in particular was amazing & attentive. She even packed a lunch box of fresh fruit, water & Vietnamese coffee to take on my journey to my next destination. I always felt safe & the hotel was central of the Hoan Kiem lake in the Old Quarter. The breakfast was delicious, as were the cocktails from the rooftop bar & Swimming pool. The pool area is so amazing. i would highly recommend staying here if you are a couple looking to explore the beautiful area of hanoi !!

We liked the attention to detail of the staff. Big shout out for Jackie Hoang and his team. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Great laundry service. The staff make the guest experience very special. We would recommend this hotel to fellow travellers due to the friendliness of the staff, the service, the location.and value for money.

The rooms and bed are clean and comfortable and well maintained. The room we had was a little old and could do with renovation and the shower was a challenge as we were unable to control the temperature of the water.
