Linh was phenomenal! She organized last-minute Tours for us all while keeping excellent communication through ‎WhatsApp, making sure we were well taken care of before, during and after our day! She is very professional courteous and honestly made staying here extra special! The hotel and all the rest of the staff were also exceptional! We are from California, and we highly recommend those whose only speak English to come here because many of the staff are able to communicate quite well! This is a very safe, clean, beautiful hotel and their food was so delicious and abundant!

This hotel has an incredible vibe — stylish, authentic, and full of the character that makes Hanoi so special. The location is absolutely unbeatable — right in the heart of Hanoi, close to countless restaurants, attractions, and shops. Nearly everything you could want to see or do is within easy walking distance, making it the ideal home base for exploring the city. What made the stay even more special was the staff. They were incredibly helpful, attentive, and accommodating. Their hospitality made me feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of. If you’re planning a trip to Hanoi and want a comfortable stay in a prime location with top-notch service, I can’t recommend this hotel enough!

I did like everything.

We stayed here twice, the first time was after leaving a crummy hotel. Fortunately we found this hotel and it was wonderful. So much so that a week later we came back. Efficient staff, good breakfast, clean, comfortable room and quiet. Room location and room type/size do vary so be sure and choose the room type that is best for you. Rooms in front overlook the street and you can hear a little street noise and church bells. I prefer rooms in the back which are quieter. The location is excellent, you are on a nice street close to the lake. They arranged drivers for us to Ninh Binh area and the airport and also helped with dinner reservations. We would definitely return if we are in Hanoi again.

Nothing, this is a great hotel.

The hotel looks like it is going through a modernisation programme. This was not a problem for us as we were given a 'new room' which was very comfortable indeed. The room's window overlooked a dark alley so definitely no view but we did not mind too much but maybe quests, and the hotel, need to be precise about their expectations/delivery. The breakfast room is a little strange. It is in the basement of the building so no windows. It does not feel right and the strange 'spaghetti Western' music does not really help. The people are again lovely and were really compassionate to my wife who was suffering from food poisoning from an excursion the day before. Thank you for that.

I suppose I prefer cleaner, more modern lines for hotel interiors. This felt like it was work in progress to achieve a bridge between tradition and contemporary. I hope they achieve it.

Excellent location in Old Quarters, surrounded by all cuisine restaurants. Clean and well maintained property. We had to go for an overnight trip to Halong Bay and had return transfers from Hanoi. The staff was courteous and accommodated to have our luggage stored for a night after we checked out. Specifically want to call out Alex from the Front Office who was considerate and offered help to us when we returned to collect our bags.

It would be good to expand the offerings at breakfast so that it considers vegetarians. Very limited options in hot meals for vegetarian guests. Welcome to include Arabic, Indian and Western vegetarian dishes. Thanks

We spent 3 nights at The Chi and I can tell it was superb from every perspective: - location: you step out of the hotel and you can have everything in a short walking distance but still not too noisy - facility: nice interior design, comfortable and well equipped room, in perfect condition - cleanness: spotless!! - breakfast: local and international foods, we tries mainly the healthy versions (salads, fruits…) but everything seemed delicious - staff: friendly, very helpful but not too pushy

The Chi was truly luxurious and beautiful. Event matches the photos, the room was extremely clean and comfortable. The shower was just the best, while soaking in the tub. The location is what caught my eye and didn't disappoint, right opposite the Cathedral. And walking distance to almost everything Old Quarter has to offer. Definitely staying at the Chi Boutique Hotel again on our next visit.

Location, newer rooms, comfy bed, decent breakfast, professional staff.

Accidentally broke a drinking glass and they wanted to charge me $3USD for $125USD/night (x3/nts. Really?!! It’s called the “cost of doing business.” The drink tray is up against closet so be careful removing your coat everybody! Upon checkout I suggested this was petty and after comms with each other, it was removed from my invoice.

Lovely hotel situated not too far from the old quarter but still very busy, with cafes, shops and restaurants on the doorstep. Staff were super friendly and so polite. Breakfast was good and has all the basics that you need for the morning. Would definitely stay there again, should I ever return.

Hotel room was a clean and good sized with usual beverage packs and toiletries. The location was great with lots of cafes and restaurants near by. It was in a lively area near the Church.

The packed breakfast that we requested for our long bus journey was a little disappointing - could have been better. Not sure if it was because it was too early to prepare.
