This is a wonderful place to stay. The room and the entire hotel are super clean. The staff are incredible helpful and booked some really good activities for us. The fridge had cold drinks waiting for us when we arrived and the shower is so good that I had trouble getting out. The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from old town which is perfect as it is really quiet at night. There good places to eat very close by. The swimming pool is fantastic on a hot afternoon. I can not praise this hotel enough. We have been in Vietnam for nearly 6 weeks now and have stayed in some very nice places. Pham Gia is by far the best.

I liked everything!

The property itself is beautifully presented and all staff are SO lovely and attentive - they made us feel so welcome the whole stay. The pool is great (especially for the kids) with towels and flotation needs provided. It is half undercover and half open which is perfect for getting the right amount of sun as well as escaping it. The rooms are very well presented and spacious with very good air conditioning and cold fridges. Balconies are a nice bonus. The location is great - it is a 10-15 minute walk to the ancient town, but it is an easy walk through some beautiful local streets and shops so it's not a chore - plus lots of food options nearby and a mini mart across the street for convenience.

There was nothing to dislike about this place. I'd recommend it to anyone and I'd stay there again happily. It was a perfect place to relax and end a family holiday.

Large comfortable room with separate sitting area plus outdoor patio. Lovely swimming pool to cool down with. Easy walking to a lot of places. Breakfast was very good. Nice to be able to hand over a bag of laundry in the morning and get it back in the evening for a very reasonable price. Lovely staff.

It would have been good to have had a rack to dry wet swimming togs and towels.

We didnt like the breakfast… You can choose from some simple dishes. But its nice that you have the option to eat breakfast at the hotel or go out. The laundry wasn’t clean after laundry service. After asking it appeared they wash by hand. Thats fine but this was done poorly.

The location was ideal for a leisurely walk into the old town to enjoy the river lanterns etc. yet enjoy quiet rest in the evening. Bike or scooter hire from here enables your own exploration of the paddy fields, villages etc without resorting to organised tours, (ask about good lunch stop). You can cycle the other way to the beach, and on your return, the pool is waiting to refresh you. The staff work seamlessly as a committed team constantly aware of guests needs, and carrying out their roles, whether making breakfast, cleaning or checking over the hire bikes with genuine friendliness and concern for your satisfaction. Our room was very comfortable: quiet, spacious, providing AC, good hot shower (with closing door!), kettle and ample sockets. A choice of breakfast is offered, made to order. Special appreciation to Vy Vy, the manager, who rescued our self-inflicted booking fiasco with good grace and facilitated all excursions and onwards travel efficiently, picking up from the hotel itself. The whole experience was entirely positive. We stayed 3 nights and we're genuinely sad to say goodbye. My most enthusiastic review to date. Highly recommended.

Having to leave the most sincere staff and relaxing environment yet.

The staff are excellent and welcoming. The area is close enough to all the action but set back enough to enjoy peace during the day and night. Rooms are large and comfortable. We thought it was a good value for the price.

Breakfast was a little repetitive but good. There are a lot of midges (no see ums for you Americans) which made sitting at breakfast or by the pool a struggle at times. This is not really the hotels fault but some extra fans or air circulation would help.

Our rooms were terrific, very spacious and comfortable beds. The breakfast was made with care and there are a few simple options, some Vietnamese ones as well as Eggs and baguette. Staff were very helpful and the laundry service worked well for us. Location was convenient as it was close to many local restaurants and bars.

The pool was a little cold.

Location was good. A 15 minute walk into the town centre and then a short walk into the old town. The cook and her husband were friendly and the breakfast was quite satisfactory. The receptionist recommended a very good tailor and I had a couple of items made to measure. She also arranged for a mini van to take me to Hue when I left and I was very happy with that bus ride.

Noisy air conditioner. Towels were old and need to be replaced.

Honestly a really comfortable stay, the room was big, everything worked, the personell was super friendly. the location is quite good too. city center is easy to reach and it has a good amount of stores and restaurants around the hotel itself

the pool was just a tiny bit too small and most bicycles has some kind of problem

The properly was perfectly located being only a 5 minute walk from the start of the ancient town and a 15 minute walk to the heart of the ancient town and especially the water front. The room was perfect. Clean and modern and comfortable and pretty well sized. The building is a bit old but the rooms don’t reflect that. They feel modern and up to date.
