This is a mid-range hotel, ideally for 1-3 nights. A lot of restaurants nearby, a large free parking lot in front of the hotel. Quite clean, service okay, room was very large, nothing to complain about :-)

Breakfast was included in the price, but it was rather mediocre. Location is nothing spectacular, but if you have a car you can get anywhere on the island in less than 45 minutes.

Good clean hotel.

Single room considered a 'box' room ie. no window, little room between bed and entrance door. Also, noise from corridor during night and early morning.

The location was excellent with a large free public car park opposite. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. It was a very clean hotel.

The mattresses were somewhat uncomfortable. The hot tub was cold when I wanted to use it.

Excellent buffet breakfast. Very clean and modern room. A 40" TV. A balcony where one can relax with a table and two armchairs. Entrance to the room was with a swipe card which I liked. The mattress was exceptionally comfortable for a good night's sleep. There were many lights so the room was very well lit. Loads of space where to keep you belongings. The shower was very spacious and there were both a hand held shower as well as an overhead rainfall one.

The only little thing I didn't like was the lack of hooks in the bathroom where to hang your clothes. This is something that most hotels overlook.

Breakfast isn’t bad it’s pretty average, but they have wide variety of cheese. Room was spacious and bright, everything looked and worked well. It had a nice balcony. Facilities are good. The room and hotel itself was clean. They decorated it nicely for Christmas. There is free parking right in front of the hotel and a lot of restaurants and shops nearby.

For me it was cold at night, but for my husband it was ok. So, I asked for a heater(cause A/C doesn’t heat, it just fan and it makes temperature cooler, it’s centralized) well, they couldn’t provide it and offered blankets to us. Other than that it was all good.

Location, parking. Breakfast is decent. Rooms are comfortable. AC worked. Entertainment in the bar

We were visiting my parents who live on Gozo, and rather than rushing about on our last day (16 Nov) getting to the airport, relying on ferries etc my mum booked a hotel on Malta (in person at the end of a October at the hotel) so we could have a relaxing day & night (15 Nov) before heading back to the airport. On arrival at our hotel (I won't mention the name), we were informed that we had no booking and that they were full (it appeared the receptionist who had taken my mum's booking, didn't actually book it on their system - we were also informed the receptionist no longer works there). We therefore had a decision to make - Go back to Gozo for the night or find a different hotel - that's when we found the Santana. Hicham on reception couldn't do enough to help us. We booked two rooms for our stay (inc breakfast), they held our luggage in storage until our rooms were ready, advised us regarding the buffet dinner option, music quiz night in the hotel bar etc - so what could have been a wasted journey etc turned into a fantastic final day spent on Malta - thank you Hicham!!

The room was ok clean breakfast a good selection of food dinner also although we booked only breakfast we had the option to have.dinner in the hotel and also had a good selection of food flowing wine and beer which also was of quite good quality the only thing that I didn't like was that we had to finish our dinner at 8 30 but then again we went upstairs and went in the bar were there was some music and it was lovely so thank you and keep it up

Big room. Good breakfast.

The bed needs more cushioning so I slept on top of the duvet. I just asked for an extra flat sheet as my blanket. The breakfast and dinner were so crowded. The dining room needs better ventilation.

Very large room. Good shower. Comfortable bed and pillow

Fully closing curtains. Automatic closing doors for the bar nearby as loud when the door was left open. Difficult to park a car nearby
