It is a large holiday village of sorts, complete with RV parks. There are facilities and pool and kiddie parks. Nelson Bay (the commercial centre for the region), is about 10min drive away. Very close to all the on land whale watching spots. Property had two bedrooms on the same floor, a small living/dining area and a kitchen. The rooms were very well kept but were small though The Koala Sanctuary is just next door, literally.

We went to the wrong Ingenia Holidays (the One Mile location) which is just up the road. Because it is winter, there were only a small number of occupants.

Being our 2nd trip to Middle Rock everything was perfect, the cleanliness of the amenities and our cabin was fantastic. The kids (and us parents) love the facilities; pool, cafe, jumping pillow, even the roads (for the kids to ride their scooters) were great. Will definitely be back. Last but definitely not least was the lovely lady at reception for the duration of our stay, forgive me but I did not look at her name tag but she was an absolute pleasure and so good with our (at times chaotic) kids. See you guys again real soon.

The staff was super friendly. The kids loved the jumping pillow and the pool area. The onsite cafe was very convenient and the food tasty. There is also a small playground and a basketball area. Great for bush walks! Overall it's a good base to explore all the amazing things Port Stephens has to offer.

There wasn't anything really negative about our stay, just a few watch outs: We stayed in the spa cabin, which was very clean overall but it was a bit dated and the sofa had quite a few stains. There was no oven and no BBQ, I believe some of the other cabins have those. No dishwasher either but we knew that beforehand. It wasn't a big deal, it just meant that the dishes in the cupboards needed a wash before using. Lastly, there are some lovely walks around the area and the coastline is stunning, however, the holiday park isn't directly at the beach. It would be quite the hike for smaller kids to get to the water.

Great little area especially for 2 people. The little house we stayed in was great and spacious. The place also had a very large pool area with a heated jacuzzi

The parking was a bit small. Especially if you had a big car. The walk to the beach was very far. The holiday house I stayed In didn’t have a lot of kitchen supplies ( proper stove or oven) just had a portable stove that didn’t work very well. But I was able to work with what I had.

Great location near stunning beaches midway Brisbane to Canberra on family road trip. Rainbow lorikeets on the cabin patio first thing in the morning was an unexpected surprise - kids looooved this!!!

Weather was wild wet and windy but cabin was warm and dry and still big enough for the kids to stretch out and relax. Excursion to the beach was challenging in the wild weather but well worth the effort! Spectacular seascapes!

Excellent communication. Very clear instructions & updates. Late check in procedure easy & really appreciated. Lovely very clean spacious cabin. Loved the selection of toiletries Very comfy bed, we don't usually have a soft mattress but it was so comfortable we were surprised. Heaps of parking next to the cabin for our car & trailer. Overall a very pleasant stay, will definitely be back. Thank you

Lovely location, close to the beach. Very close to the headland where you can watch the whales going past. The house itself was lovely and modern. Loved the extra toilet in the laundry area. Very comfortable. The cafe/restaurant on site is excellent with amazing food. Loved ordering coffee in the morning and picking up when ready. A very short walk from accommodation.

The kitchen supplies need looking at. The knives are blunt and useless and not enough pots and pans. Need more cooking utensils.

Perfect for Family’s is an excellent choice for families. The rooms are spacious and clean, with all necessary amenities. The staff is welcoming and the hotel has great family-friendly facilities, including a play area and a well-maintained pool. The location is convenient, Highly recommended for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

The kids’ beds were smaller than expected but still comfy. While kids’ blankets are provided, we had to make the beds ourselves.

It was our family’s 1st time to try a cabin and the kids enjoyed the experience. It was as described and shown in pictures. The stay exceeded our expectations as it was very kid friendly - the comfortable bunk beds, pools with kids slide, and even the jumping pillows. There’s a cafe where food was delicious. Staffs were very friendly and accommodating too. Looking forward to stay again!

As mentioned in previous reviews, the tree was down which hindered the access path to the beach so we really didn’t explore further down.

The bed in our villa is the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in- better then my own! I liked the pool side cafe, I found the reception staff very friendly and cheerful I think her name was Hannah. The kids loved the pool and spa and jumping pillow. We enjoyed the bush walk through to the dunes

I find the streets and driveways very narrow, obviously this can't be helped but is the only 'negative' feedback I have.
