The room was modern, very clean and had plenty of storage. In spite of the location being very close to a main road, it was really quiet.

The yukka plant in the pot near the room was too close to the parking bay making it difficult to access items from my car as well as the potential for my car to be scratched. I had to park well into the next parking bay. This is an easy fix, and certainly did not detract from my overall opinion of my stay.

The rooms were excellent. They appear to be recently furbished, were spacious (including the bathroom), and very comfortable. The rooms are in a separate building to the pub and we did not hear any noise from the pub. The staff were very helpful, and we were able to use the shuttle bus to get to nearby Olleyville for dinner (something many country pubs could learn from).

We like how beautifully refurbished the room was it lovely the staff were great even though we arrived late, we would stay there again. They are doing a excellent job pleased all round congrats

Room was clean, spacious and freshly renovated. The bathroom was lovely with a large decent shower. Toiletries provided. Bed comfy with a choice of pillows. Pub food and drink were nice and good value.

Room wasn't overly dark overnight - the lights outside and the light on the air con unit meant it wasn't too dark. There was nowhere nearby on the day we stayed for breakfast. We were heading into Canberra, so it wasn't a huge deal.

This is a great location - within easy reach of Canberra or Yass, but at better-than-Canberra prices. The room was spacious and clean, and the food in the restaurant in the pub looks attractive. I've stayed here before - years ago - and I was pleasantly surprised then as well.

Great location, comfortable beds, nice update to bathrooms

New bathrooms need deep cleaning to keep shower pristine. Microwave would be good. Exterior surrounds are not attractive or tidy.

The rooms are as you would expect for a motel, arranged around the car park. The bar did decent pub food (we recommend the steak) and everyone was friendly

There wasn't anything to dislike really, it meets its price point and was quite enough so all good. If you are used to the ritz this isn't for you but it was spotless and newly refurbished so no complaints

maybe I stayed in a room after some dirty people came through? I’m only adding a negative after the previous comment. Because I was greeted with a great waft of the smell of bleach as I entered the room. I kept things open to air it out for the first few hours… which did inspire to wonder around outside a few times and breath in the fresh country air!

Amazing values for money! Big rooms. Next door to the hotel with food and beverages, service station with IGA across the road and a takeaway store on the other side of the buildings.

A little dated and not super, super clean. But this isn't really an issue as the price is so great and I had a great sleep.

The town is a very pleasant option for a stop en route to Melbourne. The place is newly renovated and the building work has been completed to a high standard - the shower area doesn't flood onto the rest of the bathroom floor. The fitted wardrobes and shelving/desk area is well designed. They were generous with tea and milk. All very comfortable.
