Location perfect close to the beaches and eateries with a five star view from the 3rd floor. Room was huge, a little worn but very clean with a fridge, jug, Iron, microwave and very comfy bed all great.

Some of the clientele 0n the lower floors were a bit rough as it doubles as some kind of half way house but they put the more normal visitors on the 3rd floor which was very quiet with zero issues. There were some issues with the hot water which they sorted out.

Lovely ocean view from the windows, was so nice hearing the ocean/ waves at night. The location was brilliant- so close to the Newcastle Ocean Baths and two beaches. walking distance also to cafes & restaurants. a grocery store down the road is handy. a decent size room. good shower pressure. air con unit worked very well.

very difficult to find street parking! better off paying for undercover secure parking as its all 2hr ticketed parking on streets near by.

The location was perfect for me. I thought I was booking just another hotel, what a fantastic surprise I got when I arrived. Talk about a well kept secret. This hotel ticked all the boxes for me. Friendly international guests that were all thrilled with their accommodation.

Brilliant location, clean room, helpful staff and a very affordable price. Didn’t have high expectations based on other people’s reviews, but every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations. Some people stay at budget accomodation yet expect 5 star service. You get what you pay for! My mate hung his swimming shorts on the balcony and it flew away. We asked the housekeeper if he had seen it just in case. He went out of his way to go outside and look for it, even though he didn’t have to and it wasn’t his job. Very much appreciated. He was the older Caucasian gentleman.

We were on the 3rd floor with a balcony the view of the Newcastle harbour was fantastic . The bed was huge and was comfortable

When we open the door to our room it was a bit smelly we had to open the doors and let fresh air in maybe the hotel will install some air freshener on a timer to the rooms , the lounge and chairs could of done with a clean had dirty spot marks , overall room needed a bit more detail to cleanliness

The location is simply sensational, opposite the Ocean Bath's, close to the Beach Bar, close to the walk to the lighthouse.We paid a bit extra for the sea view which was definitely worth it!

It is an older building and although the room was somewhat renovated, the bathroom is a bit outdated. There was no shampoo and conditioner.

Location is great. Close to beaches and esplanade. Not far from the light rail stop of 'Newcastle Beach'. It is not 5 star but it is comfortable and for me, is in a great position. I use this property each time I come to Newcastle.

I did have trouble connecting to WiFi but that could well be me. It doesn't worry me too much as I am not on my device all the time. Apart from that, there is nothing that I don't like.

I could hear all the screeming kids next door and when anyone in the next room had a shower there way a loud noise untill the shower had stop and my shower didn't have much hot water it was near cold

Spacious room with a balcony and a view of the ocean. Large comfortable bed. Excellent location!

An extra blanket would have been good as it was a little bit chilly. Apart from that it was very good.

The bed was big and that great but the mattress was down to springs so very uncomfortable. I also had to call as the keypad code didn’t work. When a new one was issued I got in no problem. Thanks to friendly phone staff ;)
