Staff are friendly and welcoming on arrival. We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to an ocean view room. Room was comfortable and had an excellent view of the ocean - right across the road. The buffet breakfast was lovely with a large variety of hot and cold breakfast items. I recommend booking breakfast on the weekend as it gets very busy. We were so happy to see a mother and baby whale swim by while having breakfast. Free on site parking is fantastic and the location is within walking distance of some great restaurants, cafes and the light rail. Absolutely cannot fault this place and will definitely be back for another stay.

The location of this hotel right on Newcastle Beach would be hard to beat. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to meet our requests. The food in the bar, room service and breakfast buffet was delicious. We stayed for a week and the quality was consistent.

The underneath carpark is a bit challenging with limited manouvering space. But we managed our SUV okay. A useful tip that we learned after arriving is to pull up at the hotel garage intercom and tell them you are checking in and they will let you in. Otherwise, there is no parking available while you checkin. No porte cochere.

Loved the room with ocean view. Saw whales and dolphins now in early July. Even if the room was crappier , I would have still loved this place. It is magical. However, they are really neat and clean and have new bathrooms with good comfortable features. The swivel tap in the bathroom, the non-slip mat for the tub and little details like that really made my day perfect. We have a baby due to turn 1 year old tomorrow and being able to relax with a hot cup of chocolate and watch the whales and dolphins in the morning was precious. They had boxes of tissues, towels, comfy beds, best washing machine and dryer I have used in ages, chairs for the balcony and even a flat pillow for tummy sleepers like me. 👍

No microwave and a bit small for a family with luggage, but still really comfy.

Nice room with an upgrade ... and top floor views of Newcastle Beach. The room is a little tired and no doubt, a refurb/reno is in their future plans. Easy "free" parking downstairs onsite. The staff were pleasant and efficient.

Only three minor thoughts. One. I had only one power point on my side of the bed, to charge the phone and use a medical device (no drama but inconvenient). Two. the bathroom had an internal window looking out to the Bedroom and Ocean ... not really sure it was needed or appreciated. Three. The buffet breakfast in the Restaurant has great views of the Beach but the food only rated 3/5 ... and could have been a whole lot better.

Location excellent. Restaurant and staff in restaurant excellent. Room though dated was comfortable with a modernised bathroom.

Car park access for larger vehicles need to be reviewed. Whilst it was raining there was leakage from stormwater piping coming into the car park area. Plus flooding the parking area. We also left a specialised jug in our room. When we got home noticed it was missing. Called the Motel and requested that they contact cleaning staff to determine if they had recovered the jug. We are yet to hear back from the motel. The jug is used with our juicing machine for collecting and storing fresh juices we make at home and take when we travel.

We were upgraded to a beach view room which was very pleasant, in fact we left the aircon off and fell asleep to the sounds of the surf. The view in the morning of Newcastle beach was fantastic. The beds were extremely comfortable and adequately dressed, as were the pillows. If I was staying longer or with more than two persons, the room would have seemed a little cramped for space, but for two it was perfect especially with the balcony and provided chairs. We were within walking distance to so many things and chose to eat at a local restaurant after which we strolled back along the beach.

I do miss the vanity kit containing ear buds which I had forgotten to pack. I didn't check this with reception who may have been able to supply if asked, but this was a small thing. I wasn't a fan of one of the bar staff who, when the state of the wet bar area was pointed out to him seemed to just ignore it.

The best feature of Noah's is its position overlooking Newcastle Beach, easily reached by light rail from the city centre. You pay more for a balcony with sea view (of course) - but worth it for a special occasion, perhaps. It's a no-frills but comfortable hotel; its in-house restaurant and bar have a lovely outlook and serve great food and cocktails. Room service was good too.

There's not much to dislike. I felt our room rate was slightly expensive, especially at the start of Autumn and limited additional hotel services (e.g. no pool or gym). The beach and sea weren't an option due to the weather.

Is right next to the beach with amazing views. I enjoyed taking my daughter to the beach. Offered tea and coffee with biscuits. My daughter love them. The staff were friendly and helpful. Good service and we had some great meals at the restaurant.There is alot restaurants in the area although the food was great at Noah’s hotel we loved as well the food and beers at The Grain Store Newcastle around the corner.

The cleaning was ok but the mugs and glasses were not changed during the cleaning. Constantly we asked for clean mugs and glasses. Apart from that everything was great.

To be honest the real reason you stay at Noah's is for the ocean view. If you are expecting on-site facilities like a gym or a pool you need to look elsewhere. The rooms are clean and basically furnished, though with not enough power sockets in handy locations. Parking under the hotel is an adventure because the spaces are very very narrow. Mostly we ate out, but on our final morning we ate breakfast at Noah's and it was disappointing. Even with a small discount for being residents it was still about $30 a head. The options weren't very good, the scrambled eggs were dry, I've no idea why the baked beans were called baked beans, and a decaf coffee was extra. Like why? So don't bother. Take the light rail and find somehere else such as the Happy Wombat which was great.

Iam a world traveller and by far they have the worst breakfast ever. $32p/p you get no cold meats, no cheeses, very little variety. Food seamed old. I payed for 3 morning breakfast, I used two morning only and I went elsewhere on the third day for breakfast. Bed is not comfortable.
