Return customers: this is a modest 1960's motel that's comfortable and convenient after a short drive from Sydney for a following day of bushwalking and touring further south. Little traffic noise and passing trains are buffered by a large hedge, so we slept well. A slightly larger room this time: thanks!! Very friendly welcome and farewell from the owners.

The adjacent club offers bar food with strange rules about where and how to queue, and a multiplicity of gambling opportunities...., you might prefer the Italian cafe or excellent Chinese takeaway back in the main drag. Bargo is an overnight stop: not a destination.

I liked the idea of being so close to the club.Very handy for meals. The room was very clean and tidy.Sheets were beautifully laundered. Maybe an electric blanket for the winter

The wall heater needed updating.very noisy and very little heat comimg out. A tea towel would have been handy.We rinsed out crockery with hot water in the bathroom sink and had to dry them with paper towels which i bought myself. The bathroom sink dosent hold water which my husband discovered when he went to have a shave. Being a gardener i was a little sad to see the garden looking so dead and in need of a cut back. The pots on the verandah were so dry and calling out for a drink. I know there was cacti in the verandah pots and they need very little water,but they were even looking pretty dead.

For a one-night stopover this was fine and excellent value. It’s a 1950’s motel with small rooms but very well maintained and excellent wifi and more than adequate supply of plugs for devices. It’s next to the bowls with meal service and a short drive to Italian, Chinese and other food options. Very comfortable bed. On a long weekend where all other accommodation options were gouging at premium prices, this place kept its rates low. Thank you!

Some road and train noise, but this didn’t stop a sound night’s sleep. The room size may be too snug for some, but it’s fine for a short stay.

It was just off the motorway and an easy one night stop over on way to Victoria. A bright and friendly welcome from the owner as we were arriving later than expected. He told us the Sports Club next door offered a good menu.. We were very pleased after a long day travelling. The motel was very clean, non smoking, comfy and we parked at the door.

For what we paid there wasn’t anything we didn’t like…

The room was very clean, and comfortable for what your paying. I thought it would be noisy but once the traffic stopped it was very quiet and I slept really well. We only traveled for a quick visit to visit a sick family member. So it was very convenient located for us and the Bargo Sports club just next door does excellent food.

The bathroom was very small especially the way the toilet was positioned. I wouldn’t want to be a big person you may get stuck on the toilet.

Very comfy little space, alot of power points and more appliances to use then more expensive places ive stayed in Its very close to shopping areas, with a lovely cafe on the same road and a nice pub just through the fence Good quality shower and extremely clean Wonderful value for money, and if im ever in the area again we will be back!

It was well priced, clean and comfortable. Friendly, easy check in. The room had a toaster which was great for a fast breakfast before getting back on the road. The pillows/ mattress were comfortable. Water in the shower was hot and good pressure. There was club next door for dinner- or a great pizza place 3 kms away. Parking at the unit door. Wifi was strong. Enough variety of lights in the room so you could get the light right according yo what suited you.

Very deceiving but delightfully so. An older motel from the outside but open the door to your room and enjoy!The price was great, the staff were friendly, happy, polite and helpful. The rooms were fantastic! Neat and clean and beds comfortable (and I'm a picky sleeper lol). Surprisingly not just the usual accompaniments there was also a toaster, cutlery and crockery. The grounds were clean and tidy also. I will definitely be going back 😊

Very clean room. Good facilities and close to bowling club which has an excellent kitchen. Will stay again.

Receptionist upon arrival had no idea. Tried to charge me for room although I had already paid. Not sure she should work there. However when manager returned very useful and he apologised for receptionist misunderstanding.

Room was spacious with high ceilings in main room and bathroom, and it was clean and nice, with good towels, quiet fridge, toaster, kettle all available.

The outside looks very basic, so we were very happily surprised that the inside was so nice! I wasn't sure if the bed was going to be good, but I slept just fine.
