Special mention to the two receptionists on Sunday morning between 10 and 11 am for their professionalism. They were flexible, helpful, and went above and beyond when I had an issue with my suitcase at check-out. They even guided me on where to find a replacement quickly. It's rare to experience this level of service in a hostel Location

It’s such a different vibe to Wake Up Sydney. It’s so chill, peaceful and quiet during the day (you can hear music at night, but for me this wasn’t an issue at all). to be so close to the beach was AMAZING. I had a problem with the first room I was placed in, but the lovely Irish lady at reception (shout out to her she was so lovely and helpful) helped me straight away and moved me to a new room where I was able to relax and enjoy straight away. 10/10 stay :) couldn’t recommend more.

Everything. One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in. Location was perfect and was just a dream. Cannot wait to book again when visiting Sydney and Bondi as it is such a beautiful place

Nothing bad about this place at all. Only thing I wish I did was book a longer stay as two nights was not enough. Would’ve loved to have known all of the activities they offer before hand but I also didn’t know how accommodating this hostel was. Absolutely amazing

Great hostel right on the beach. Such a friendly atmosphere and great if you're looking to meet like-minded people. The rooms and facilities are clean and love the onsite washers/driers. Having a key card for access to all the main areas of the building was a great touch and I never felt unsafe. Staff on-hand were always friendly and approachable and ready for a chat. Loved the onsite activities such as morning rooftop yoga - great way to meet people and meant there was always something to do. Stayed in a 4-person dorm which was great, nice and spacious with plug sockets and lights by each bed.

This is a very noisy hostel!! The hostel itself is situated above a couple of student bars/restaurants which stayed open until the early hours of the morning. This obviously meant there was a fair bit of noise that came through the floor (vibrating and pounding) and I found it hard to sleep most nights. Definitely think this is a worse problem for those in the first floor rooms and probably isn't as bad for those on the third floor, but still this is mentioned nowhere, either in the hostel or online, as a potential problem/concern so I thought I would highlight on here for prospective visitors. If you need your 8hrs each night, this might not be for you.

Awesome hostel. Private room is perfect if you don’t fancy sharing. Toilets and showers were as clean as you can expect for a hostel of such size. Rooftop is great to hangout and watch the world go by. Staff were great, reception were very helpful and welcoming, the lads who ran the bingo did a great job getting the party started. Location is incredible, perfect place to stay if you’re wanting to see what Bondi has to offer. A fantastic stay and will be back for sure.

Loved the location- right on Bondi Beach and beside the bus stop to get into the City Centre so you’re not far from there either! Really clean location, great staff always on hand. Was really surprised that there were activities held every day to help you mix and get to know others. Overall 10/10 experience would recommend to everyone!

The stairs- carrying those heavy bags up on day one and no lift. Tiniest little nit pick about it!

It was right at the finish line for City 2 Surf and it was the best to be able to go up to our room, shower, and take some food, drinks and a speaker onto the rooftop. The view from the rooftop is amazing. The bathrooms are recently renovated and the room was clean. The location on the main beach/street of Bondi is excellent. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful.

No issue if you're fit (so didnt bother us) but just beware that there are a lot of stairs and no lift.

- The location is facing the beach with a breathtaking view from the rooftop patio. - Notices of daily social events are posted in several locations throughout the property and enthusiastically promoted by the staff. - The large shared kitchen and refrigeration units are convenient for travellers who want to dine in to save money or socialize with others in the seating areas.

Although there are several toilets and showers, they tended to get filled up during peek times of the day.

- Just a few-second walk to the Bondi beach - Towel service - Clean bedsheets, pillows, and mattress - Free, recurring activities focusing on community building - A+ for accommodating staffs - A++ for a beachfront view of the room, but this kind of room is a minority of the whole building.

- No facility that offers privacy for a bed bunk. E.g. curtains - Not every shower room has a hanger and basket - Too few toilets

Perfect location, comfy bed, clean bathroom, good kitchen facilities, and close to shops and restaurants.

The staff walk through the halls playing loud music from speakers before events, which feels unnecessary and annoying for those not attending the nightly activities, especially since people in the halls can already be noisy.
