The Baxley Bondi is ideally situated close to Bondi Road (and a short walk to Bondi Junction) there is a regular bus service on Bondi Road to the beach or city or a train to the city from the Junction. But the location is just one of the many great things about the Baxley Bondi, the whole building is very clean and there are a number of shower rooms, so I never had to wait to use one. The kitchen has clean cutlery / plates etc a tv if you would like a different space to sit and a computer area. All of the staff were friendly and helpful.

Personally I would have liked a larger area to store clothes, but this was only because I had an 18 day stay at the Baxley Bondi

Great location in Bondi near plenty of shops and restaurants and conveniently situated between Bondi Junction and Bondi Beach, clean and comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff, good facilities, including laundry, in-room fridge, TV with Netflix, a communal kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, utensils etc. Overall a really good stay and I'd consider staying here again if I'm in the area and need accommodation for a few nights.

Anything I put here would be a really minor gripe and nothing worth mentioning.

Exeptionally clean!!! Small room but hygienic facilities and kitchen always at a very high cleanliness level! Friendly staff and late arrival was possible. Lots of good tea in the kitchen - for cooking just a microwave, but we bought mainly fresh fruits and veggies cause a whole big shopping center is in 10 mins walking distance. Bondi beach also just a walk down the street and parks nearby. Always fresh towels if you need and no shortage in toilet paper :-) . Not far away is also the train station, so city center is very well reachable. Quiet neighbourhood and generally a beautiful house in good shape.

While one was assigned a shared bathroom there were plenty of bathrooms and they were not locked for the rare occasion the one assigned was in use if there was an emergency. The property was very nice with comfortable beds and first class everything. The sink in the room had a mirror so no need to leave the room to shave or brush teeth. Friendly staff. Very close to a bus stop and walking distance to a train stop and Bondi beach. A good place.

This was my first solo trip. I like how residential it felt, it made me comfortable with the idea of travelling by myself. I was placed towards the end of the corridor which felt like my own private nook even though there weren’t many people passing by most of the time. The atmosphere was always quiet and relaxing to be in. Loved the greenery and coastal aesthetic. The setup within my room was so thought out, it felt personalised rather than commercial. The details, like the chocolate bars, fun drinks and my personal kettle and mug set the scene for a lazy movie night in, absolutely loved it.

The common area was tucked away downstairs and I wasn’t shown a tour of where it was (didn’t know where to distinguish rooms from common spaces). Would’ve loved if there was a small library so I could take a book down to the beach.

Fantastic stay. The room was big enough and the whole of the hotel was spotless. The shared bathrooms were kept very clean. The staff were very helpful and I was able to keep my luggage in storage for the day whilst I waited for my flight. I was still able to use the communal area (which is great - microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee pod machine, computer and TV. Location was great with cafes no more than a 5 minute walk away. Felt very safe here as a solo traveller. I will certainly be recommending to family and friends.

Beautiful property. Very comfortable bed. Lovely interior design. Really nice common room. We had a queen room with bathroom as I had my 15yr old daughter. A lovely place to come back to after a day sightseeing. Good location if you have a car as free street parking. Right near Bondi Road so public transport close by to get down to Bondi or city.

Areas for improvement: I feel the front gate needs to be locked at all times for extra security however it never is. There is a secured front door leading to reception. We were offered a larger queen room at the front of the property however its entrance is before the secured door so we declined. At times we could hear people using the bathroom as the queen ensuite rooms share a wall. Anyway to sound proof this?

Great staff, exceptionally clean facilities, and a lovely location. Despite having a shared bathroom, which I was initially concerned about, it was exceptionally clean, and with multiple bathrooms available, there was never a wait in line. The kitchen was also impeccably clean and well-maintained. The guests staying there were very respectful and of varying ages. The staff were fantastic and extremely helpful with any questions or requests I had. Bondi Beach is a 20-minute walk away, with numerous dining and shopping options along the main streets. Baxley is situated on a tranquil street, free from noise disturbances.

Nothing not to like

Staff super nice, friendly and helpful. Information perfect for late check-in. Got some neighbour a bit nosy late on the 1st night but didn't happen again (thank you to the staff). Rooms, confortable and spacious. Bed, maybe not super big if you are two but way enough by yourself. Perfect to explore Bondi's area, not a noisy street but close by most of the restaurant/bar/café by walking distance. Very cool minibar offer and good wifi.

For the standards of the rooms, I would have expected a hairdryer (in the rooms or even in the bathroom) and a small hook to hang out the hand towel in the room, since there is a sink in the room. The shared Toilet and shower are together, they are not separated. It hasn't been a big issue, just got to wait a few times. It is details, not a big deal !

A comfortable and clean room, bathrooms and pleasant staff. Shared bathrooms were always available. A washer and dryer on site was a plus for us. Just a short walk to the train, mall, Bondi Beach, shops, and at the Waverly park is a little hidden gem of a cafe.

The doors opening/closing at night for the shared bathroom access were a bit loud at times, however is to be expected with shared bathrooms and we got used to it after a few nights.
