Great location for the price. Barry's offers simple but comfortable rooms minutes walk from Bondi Beach. Although it's situated above a busy pub, it's well sound proofed such that there's no issue with noise at night. The Goki system makes check-in, check-out and building access a breeze.

The couches could have used some deep cleaning.

Staff was always there to assist. Even helped us with late check in. Quick walk to Bondi Beach and very close chemist, bakery and restaurants to choose from. Barry’s Roadhouse quick way for a meal drink as well.

Not a problem for us, but make sure you download the Goki app for key access. Also, 2 flights of stairs to get to your room. Again, not a problem for us.

The properties location was great and the main reason I booked it for the City to Surf weekend. The checkin was very easy with the Goki app. Room was very clean, modern, had everything I needed. The main st Glenayr Rd has so many food/coffee places. And it’s a few blocks from the beach!

I had no dislikes of the property as I knew exactly where I was booking but thought I’d call out a few things that others may want to consider: - the rooms are above the pub. so on fri/sat/sun nights it is very busy and loud. the music stopped 1am Saturday night & 10pm Sunday night so if you’re not part of the party below you will still hear the music very clearly in your room. - ask for your room to be on Beach Rd so you can open your blinds. mine was on Glenayr rd and had apartments across so people looking in.

Loved the room, the fact it was so close to the beach and the price was too good to pass. The fact all the access to the entire building was on my phone was the most incredible experience.

It was a night club at night so when we came back to the hotel we had to walk through two levels of nightclub drunks to get to our room

Great location, fresh, has a good vibe. Was pleasantly surprised by everything here, staff really helpful and friendly, easy check in, room had all we needed for an overnight stay. Very happening night-life downstairs but the rooms have perfect sound proofing, you do not hear a thing.

Great location very central to Bondi. A fresh, bright, clean atmosphere and the room king room we stayed in was very spacious. Good value for money.

Given that it is a hotel in the middle of a very popular place, it was noisy in the evening but we shut the windows and turned on the aircon and had a comfortable night sleep. There could be more hanging options for towels in the bathroom

The location was amazing!! And even though it was right above the bar, we expected the noise to be way worse!!

The AC stopped working and there were no windows which sucked in 30° weather. But staff were amazing and moved us to a different room

It’s a great location, staff are super friendly and the bed was really comfortable.

Other people have mentioned the noise. I took a good pair of earplugs and was absolutely fine.

I loved the Staff they were so friendly especially the cleaning staff they were amazing and always had smiles on their faces. Nice work ladies. Will return again knowing that I have lovely staff

Need bigger milk for coffees

Room was extremely clean, new, fresh and comfortable. The girl at reception was lovely and so helpful. Location is absolutely perfect and bonus points with the pub down stairs. We will definitely be back, thanks guys.
