The location is perfect! Right in the center, close to everything at a walking distance. The common kitchen is very well equipped. The outside area is gorgeous, surrounded by nature. It is a 1-min walk to Woolies, which made life really easy. The transfer we hired from/to the airport stops just about 200m down the road. Clean showers and toilets. There was a mini fridge in the room.

Small and dark bedroom, not very spacious. Bed was not so comfy. It's ok if you're gonna be out and exploring the whole day and you're going "home" only to sleep. There was loud music/people from the bar in front (connected to the property). However, I believe these factors wouldn't prevent me from staying there again. It's a good value for money overall.

The air conditioning and the room was comfortable and the location is fantastic. There is a busy bar at the front but we were not disturbed at all in the rooms. They also have some awesome live bands which are fun to listen too while cooking :)

The WiFi is pretty terrible in the rooms. The kitchen is not air conditioned and left open which is quite uncomfortable in the heat. We also saw at least 3 rats (outside the buildings), we mentioned this at reception and they assured us it was not a problem as it is a rainforest area and they could not gain access to the buildings, but it was still a bit worrying to see.

Communication was awesome, nothing was too hard, and if there was anything needed it was sorted and i was felt satisfied. great customer service and my time was amazing, i definitely will be back again. Too be honest we stayed at a 5 star resort before hand for the week, but we wanted to be closer to town and also have a bit of fun, our stay at magnums exceeded expectations and if we could go again we would of stayed at magnums the complete stay. great time

everything was excellent, probably the only downfall but was only an issue as the way my partner and i had packed was a bit more room to lay down a suite case on the floor, but was easily solved laying on the bed and packing away before bed

10/10 location on the Main Street near the shops, restaurants and lagoon Loved the rainforest feel of the property! Rooms were compact but nice and the air con in the room was so good

WiFi was very slow and patchy The shower kept flooding so the bathroom was very slippery We stayed in a double room and they gave us a kettle and mugs but no teabags or anything in the room I asked to be in a quieter room but was put in the first set of rooms next to the live music - not too bad but stayed further back on our second stay and it was much better

Perfect location, on the main strip and close to the beach and Lagoon. Some of the staff were really friendly and helped us to arrange our boat trip. Cool setting in the trees.

Very loud music from the bar, which is also called Magnums, but was made very clear to us that they were not connected and it is not a party hostel. Some of the kitchen appliances didn't work at all on one half of the kitchen. The fan in the bedroom was right under the light, so made it quite difficult to be around if the fan was on. When we were checking out one staff member was quite rude saying that we would be trespassing if were to use the kitchen facilities once we'd checked out. Seemed quite over the top given we just wanted to make some lunch before leaving for the airport.

Amazing location, right in the middle of town and next to the supermarket, but somehow secluded in the middle of the forest. Was very cool walking around the hostel itself, and lots of fun wildlife to see! Great facilities- spacious/well equipped kitchen, laundry, BBQ area etc and bathrooms were clean. AC in the room was a godsend.

Kitchen is only open 7:30-9pm which is quite annoying if you’re an early riser (or a night owl!). Similarly, bag drop is only open 8am-5pm (8pm if you ask reception), so need to be quite organised if stir in your bags for a boat tour the day after.

Was like bedding down iin the Rainforest if you use your imagination. Total escape considering it was very central to bars, restaurants, beach, lagoon and Marina. Front desk staff were amazing too, first time I've heard of check ins possible 6hrs before time where the room was available.

Small gripe but the white noise from the fan and the fridge took some getting used to. If that wasn't there this would be a 10. Enjoyable stay despite mixed weather and cancelled snorkel cruise as a result.

The perfect location! You walked straight off the main street of Airlie Beach into the Hostel which then went so far back it was super quiet in the rooms, despite the onsite pub (which is also really fun). Amazing kitchen facilities that never feel too cramped despite how many people stay here. staff are amazing at pointing you in the right direction for day trips and experience around the area.

Our room was super hot as the Air-con leaked as soon as we turned it on.

- fantastic location, right by the beach - really friendly, helpful staff - free private parking with plenty of spaces available - complimentary tea and coffee - great sized communal kitchen - layout and atmosphere is great - clean rooms - comfortable - lots of communal seating and enough of it for it to feel private too - the pub on site has lots going on for everyone - can book a range of trips

- could hear people whilst we were in our room at around 5am which unfortunately woke us up - bit pricier than rooms we are paying for on our road trip down Queensland, but still would absolutely recommend!

Lovely feel staying among the trees. The private rooms were great and the showers and toilets were clean. Fridge and crockery in the room was very handy. The kitchen had good facilities and plenty of space to cook and eat. We enjoyed using the bbq area which included bbq utensils! It was easy to leave our bags here while we went on our Whitsundays overnight trip. Really helpful staff who let us check in early after an over night bus was a huge bonus!

The kitchen closes at 21:00 and opens at 7:30am which meant we couldn’t wash up properly after our bbq or access the kitchen before leaving for our 7am bus.
